- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction: Side effects of most synthetic drugs used in the treatment of various diseases have led researchers around the world to conduct studies on the identification of alternative therapies. In this vein, the present study aims to review the research carried out in association with the therapeutic effects of music used in the treatment of relatively common diseases. Methods: To develop this review article, researchers conducted some computer search using keywords in databases including Google scholar, SID, Iranmedex, Medline, PubMed, Springer, Science Direct, ProQuest, and ISC, and collected and probed the results of over 100 published articles from 2000 to 2018 dealing with the effect of music therapy in the treatment of 12 relatively common diseases. Results: The findings show that music therapy has a positive effect on the treatment of the diseases studied. Conclusion: Music can have positive effects on pain, sleep disorders, learning, memory, IQ, depression, anxiety and special diseases such as schizophrenia and autism.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Reproductive systems in humans not only serve the birth and survival of generations, but also regulate many of the psychological and behavioral characteristics of humans. Regarding the side effects of chemical drugs used in the treatment of reproductive system disorders; this study was conducted to investigate the effect of medicinal plants on the performance of this system. In this review, an extensive literature search was conducted using relevant articles published between 2000 and 2018, and indexed in Google Scholar, PubMed, Elsevier, Scientific Information Database, and Islamic world science citation center (ISC) were studied. The search terms used to retrieve the articles were as follows: Herbal medical extract ،Names of medicinal plants, Reproductive System. The use of medical plants has been commonplace in ancient civilizations, and hence since ancient times plants have long been an important source of medicine. Research on herbal medicine in recent years has shown that plants such as, Ginseng, Ginger and Aloe Vera have formerly been used to treat reproductive system disorders. In the present study, the effects of 30 plant types on the treatment of reproductive system have been investigated. According to the results of this study, many medicinal plants have beneficial effects due to flavonoid and antioxidant compounds in the treatment of reproductive system disorders, as some also have a negative effect on the system, so the use of medicinal plants in this regard should be made under the supervision of a specialist physician.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Anxiety and depression are among the commonly occurring illnesses around the world that cause changes in the lifestyle of humans and impose huge costs to treat these disorders on human societies. These disorders can be associated with physiological symptoms such as tachycardia, sweating, respiratory dysfunction, numbness, and sometimes paralysis of the limbs, etc. In the treatment of these diseases, the goal is to help people to minimize the risk of following side effects while healing these disorders. In the treatment of drugs in the past, benzodiazepine drugs such as diazepam (valium), alprazolam (xanax), lorazepam (ativan), and baspiron were used to treat anxiety disorders. However, presently anti-depressant drugs such as fluxetin, paroxetine, sertaline, and venlafaxine are more widely administered. It is estimated that between 10 to 20% of people in the western hemisphere use these drugs almost regularly . In depression studies, monoamine neurotransmitters such as serotonin (5- HT), neuroadrenaline (NA) and dopamine (DA) play an important role in mediating depressive behaviors. Various studies have shown that major depressive symptoms are caused by a reduction in the function of these neurotransmitters. Monoamine oxidase enzyme (MAOA) is also a key enzyme dependent on the metabolism of neurotransmitters, and it has been suggested that its activity is one of the indicators of psychosomatic susceptibility. It has also been observed that the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis (HPA) is impaired in patients with depression. The use of herbal medicine has been commonplace in ancient civilizations, and hence since ancient times plants have long been an important source of medicine. Research on plants in recent years has shown that plants such as chamomile and lavender, which have formerly been used to treat anxiety and depression have anti-anxiety and anti-depression effects; accordingly, in the present study, the effects of 18 plant types on the treatment of these disorders have been investigated.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction: Autism is one of the developmental disorders of the central nervous system followed by several sensory motor problems. The present study aims to investigate the effect of sensory integration therapy on the physical and motor activities of children with autism. Methods: This descriptive study was carried out with 20 students selected in the first, second and third grades aiming to diagnose autism disorder in the academic year 2017 in Shiraz. Data collection was performed using the “physical activity of Iranian students” questionnaire in the form of teacher and parent observation record registration at three levels (daily activity, organization and motor ability). The level of motor skills was determined using the gross motor development test (basic, equilibrium, and kinetic skills) prepared by Khalaji and Khajavi (motor development professors). The presented study employed sensory integration approaches by modulating individual and group treatments in these children (sensory diet and creating the sensory atmosphere) in 12 sessions for 60 minutes. The results of the pre- test and post-test data were analyzed through performance analysis based on non-parametric data via Wilcoxon test (p≤0.05). Results: Our finding showed that there is a significant difference between the viewpoints of parents and teachers regarding the level of activities before and after intervention (p<0.05). So, sensory coherence increases the level of daily activities of children with autism disorder. Moreover, there is a significant difference between the viewpoints of parents and teachers regarding motor skills before and after intervention (p<0.05). Conclusion: the results of the current study showed that the use of sensory integration therapy improves daily, organized and motor activity, as well as the basic and balance skills of children with autism and may require longer courses of treatment to improve kinetic skills.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction: Autism is one of the structural disorders of brain which is accompanied by deficiency in motor skills and verbal communications. The present study was conducted aiming at investigating the effect of social story telling on the development of motor skills and verbal communications among the children and adolescents suffering the autism. Methods: This study was semi-experimental of pretest- posttest type with control group. Statistical population of this study included all children with autism from 5 to 17 years old in Sirjan City in March 2017- March 2018 from among whom, 16 persons were selected by accessible random sampling method based on the conditions for entering the study, then they were divided randomly into two experimental and control groups. Experimental group was involved with the social stories intervention for children and adolescents through researcher direct training for 12 weeks and 2 sessions a week and control group received no intervention. Research tools were GARS autism rating scale, Vineland social maturity scale and social stories. Results obtained from pretest and posttest stages were analyzed by statistical test of covariance and the significance level was considered at p< 0.05. Results: Finding showed that the social skills training increases significantly the motor skills and verbal communications among the children and adolescents with severe autism spectrum disorder at level of p < 0.001 compared to the control group. Conclusion: Social skills training to autistic children is likely to improve the motor skills and verbal communications among them through strengthening the sensorimotor integration, creativity and motivation for progress and reducing the anxiety.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Today, businesses need to manage their customer experience to succeed. Therefore, they must first have a clear understanding of the meaning of the customer experience. Customer experience management is a process-focused strategy around the needs of each customer that seeks to find a win-win strategy for both parties. The banking industry that provides financial services to customers requires special attention to the customer. Banking experiences for managers in this area are challenging because they are influenced by some elements that are within the control of managers and employees, as well as some elements that are beyond the control of managers. The purpose of this study was to design a desirable model of banking services based on customer experience. The data were collected from the bank branches by applying the data-based theory and performing in-depth interviews using the protocol based on multiple targeted sampling (Snowball Sampling). Moreover, using the open coding, axial coding and selective coding using ATLAS.ti software, the categories and themes are identified. The results show that bank interior design, brand equity, verbal advertising and bank staff skills have an effect on the loyalty, return and customer satisfaction.

- چکیده: زمینه مطالعه: محصولات گوشتی تولیدی ممکن است که سفتی غیر قابل قبولی داشته باشند چراکه در تولید آنها از گوشتهایی با محتوای بافت پیوندی بالا استفاده میشود. هدف: هدف از این مطالعه استفاده از روش ماریناد کردن اسیدی گوشت بر برخی ویژگیهای فیزیکوشیمیایی و حسی همبرگر میباشد. روش کار: گوشت در سه غلظت 5/0%، 1% و 5/1% از محلولهای اسید سیتریک و اسید لاکتیک به نسبت 1:4 (گوشت: محلول) دردمایoC 4 به مدت 15 ساعت ماریناد شد و در فرمولاسیون همبرگر مورد استفاده قرار گرفت. نتایج: در مقایسه با نمونه شاهد، بیشترین مقدار قرمزی (*a) در کمترین غلظت اسید لاکتیک مشاهده شد در حالیکه کمترین مقدار *a در بیشترین غلظت اسید سیتریک بود. مقدار نیروی برشی نشان میدهد که اسید لاکتیک دارای اثر تردکنندگی به ویژه در کمترین غلظت بوده و یک اثر مثبت بر پذیرش کلی نمونهها داشت. الکتروفورز پروتئینها نشان داد که در مقایسه با نمونه شاهد، شدت باندها در تیمارهای 5/0% اسیدی کاهش یافت. نتیجهگیرینهایی: به نظر میرسد که ماریناد کردن اسیدی گوشت یک تکنیک کاربردی جهت ترد کردن همبرگرهای با درصد گوشت بالا میباشد.
- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Meat products may be unacceptably tough because of the high connective tissue content of meats used in their manufacture. OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study was using meat acid marination method on some physicochemical and sensory characteristics of beef burgers. METHODS: Meat was marinated in three concentrations (0.5%, 1% and 1.5%) of lactic and citric acid solutions (1:4 w/v) at 4 °C for 15h and was used in formulation of beef burgers. RESULTS: According to control sample, the highest redness (a*) value was found in the lowest concentration of lactic acid while the lowest a* value was in the highest concentration of citric acid. Shear force value indicated that lactic acid had a tenderizing effect particularly at the lowest concentration and had a positive effect on overall acceptability. Electrophoresis of proteins showed that band intensity had decreased in 0.5% acid treatments, compared to the control sample. CONCLUSIONS: It seems that meat acid marination is an applicable technique to tenderize beef burgers with high percentage of meat.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Gamete cryopreservation is an inseparable part of assisted reproductive technology, and vitrification is an effective approach to the cryopreservation of oocytes. The aim of this study was to investigate vitrification effects on the expression levels of mitochondrial transcription factor A (Tfam) and mitochondrial-encoded cytochrome c oxidase subunit 1 (Cox1) in mouse metaphase II oocytes.Methods: Oocytes were selected by simple random sampling and distributed amongst five experimental groups (control [n=126], docetaxel [n=132], docetaxel+cryoprotectant agent [CPA] [n=134], docetaxel+vitrification [n=132], and vitrification [n=123]). After the warming process, the oocytes were fertilized and cultured into a 2-cell stage. Then, the effects of vitrification on the expression of the Tfam and Cox1 genes were determined via real-time reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction. Each group was compared with the control group. The data were analyzed with ANOVA using GraphPad and SPSS, version 21.Results: A significant decrease was observed in the fertilization rate of each group in comparison with the control group (P=0.001). The rate of 2-cell formation after in vitro fertilization was significantly lower in both vitrification groups (docetaxel+vitrification and vitrification) than in the non-vitrification groups (fresh control and docetaxel) and control group (P=0.001 and P=0.004). The expression level of Cox1 was significantly higher in the vitrification group than in the control group (P=0.01), while it was lower in the docetaxel group than that in the control group (P=0.04). The expression level of the Tfam gene was significantly high in the vitrification group (vitrification+docetaxel) and the non-vitrified group (docetaxel+CPA) in comparison with the control group (P=0.01).Conclusion: This study indicated that the vitrification of mouse MII oocytes increased the expression of the Tfam and Cox1 genes.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Insecticides may have negative effects on reproductive organs. Given the interaction between leptin and the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis, we sought to investigate the changes in leptin and the HPG axis in adult male rats poisoned with Proteus and Biscaya insecticides. Methods: Our experimental subjects were 110 adult male Wistar rats (80–90 days of age; average weight=200–210 g). They were randomly split into 11 groups of 10 rats: control, sham, and 9 experimental groups namely treatment with 2.75, 5.5, and 11 mg/kg/BW of Proteus, treatment with 1.5, 3, and 6 mg/kg/BW of Biscaya, treatment with 2.75 mg/kg/BW of Proteus+1.5 mg/kg/BW of Biscaya, treatment with 5.5 mg/kg/BW of Proteus+3 mg/kg/BW of Biscaya, and treatment with 11 mg/kg/BW of Proteus+6 mg/kg/BW of Biscaya. Intraperitoneal injections were performed over a 14-day period. For bloodletting at the end of the experiment, blood samples were withdrawn from the rats in order to investigate the serum concentration of luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), gonadotropin- releasing hormone (GnRH), testosterone, and leptin. The data were analyzed using SPSS, version 16, via ANOVA and the Duncan test. A P value equal to or less than 0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results: Our comparisons between the experimental groups (average and maximum compound concentrations of Proteus and Biscaya) and the control group showed a significant decrease in the mean serum levels of FSH (P=0.001), LH (P=0.001), GnRH (P=0.001), testosterone (P=0.005), and leptin (P=0.001) in all the experimental groups in a dose-dependent manner.Conclusion: Proteus and Biscaya decreased GnRH, LH, FSH, and testosterone by reducing the serum level of leptin in the hypothalamus in a dose-dependent manner.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a drastic disability that leads to spinal cord impairment. This study sought to determine the effects of bone marrow stem cells (BMSCs) on caspase-3 levels after acute SCI in mice. Forty-two mice were randomly divided into 3 groups: control (2 subcategories), subjected to no intervention; sham (3 subcategories), subjected to acute SCI; and experimental (2 subcategories), subjected to SCI and cell transplantation. In the experimental group, 2×105 BMSCs were injected intravenously 1 day after SCI. The mesenchymal property of the cells was assessed. The animals in the 3 groups were sacrificed 1, 21, and 35 days after the induction of injury and caspase-3 levels were evaluated using a caspase-3 assay kit. The obtained values were analyzed with ANOVA and Tukey tests using GraphPad and SPSS. Based on the assessments, the transplanted cells were spindle-shaped and were negative for the hematopoietic markers of CD34 and CD45 and positive for the expression of the mesenchymal marker of CD90 and osteogenic induction. The caspase-3 levels showed a significant increase in the sham and experimental groups in comparison to the control group. One day after SCI, the caspase-3 level was significantly higher in the sham group (1.157±0.117) than in the other groups (P<0.000). Twenty-one days after SCI, the caspase-3 level was significantly lower in the experimental group than in the sham group (0.4±0.095 vs. 0.793±0.076; P˂0.000). Thirty-five days following SCI, the caspase-3 level was lower in the experimental group than in the sham group (0.223±0.027 vs. 0.643±0.058; P˂0.000). We conclude that BMSC transplantation was able to downregulate the caspase-3 level after acute SCI, underscoring the role of caspase-3 as a marker for the assessment of treatment efficacy in acute SCI.
