- چکیده انگلیسی: Microwave dyeing was carried out under a variety of conditions in terms of the power and time of a microwave to investigate the effects of microwaving on the dyeability of acrylic fibers. It was found that the dyeability of acrylic fibers were significantly improved under microwave irradiation caused by the increased adsorption of the dye into fibers due to the local over heating and an amplified reaction probability between the dye and fiber. The physical properties of the acrylic fibers were elucidated using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), tensile strength measurements, and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The optimum time for the best dye uptake for given microwave powers was also reported.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Visible light active graphitic carbon nitride/reduced graphene oxide/silver oxide nanocomposites with a p-n heterojunction structure were synthesized by chemical deposition methods. Prepared samples were characterized by different physico-chemical technics such as XRD, FTIR, SEM, TEM and DRS. Photocatalytic activity investigated by analyzing the Acid blue 92 (AB92) concentration during the time under visible light. Effects of pH, dye concentration, photocatalyst dosage and different scavengers on photocatalytic performance explored. Maximum photocatalytic degradation observed at pH=7. Silver nitrate among other scavengers demonstrated maximum activity for dye degradation. Photocatalyst with 400 ppm concentration showed the highest activity. Proposed mechanism and reaction kinetics discussed.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this paper, analytical and numerical solutions for thermoelastic functionally graded (FG) rotating disks with non-uniform thickness under lateral pressure are studied. The study is performed based on Mindlin’s theory. Considering the fact that bending and thermal loadings in analysis of rotating disk are necessary to study the components such as brake and clutch disks. The governing differential equations arising from FG rotating disk are firstly extracted. Then, Liao’s homotopy analysis method (HAM) and Adomian’s decomposition method (ADM) are applied as two analytical approaches. Calculation of stress components and then comparison of the results of HAM and ADM with Runge-Kutta’s and FEM are performed to survey compatibility of their results. The distributions of radial and circumferential stresses of rotating disks are studied and discussed. Finaly, the effects of temperature, grading index, angular velocity and lateral loading on the components of displacement and stresses are presented and discussed, in detail.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Statement of Problem: Information about the etiology and incidence of maxillofacial trauma is important for prevention and appropriate treatments of such injuries.Purpose: The purpose of this retrospective study was to conduct an analysis of maxillofacial injuries transferred and/or referred to the department of maxillofacial Surgery at Chamran emergency hospital, Shiraz, over a 6-year period with special reference to age, gender, occupation, date, type, site, etiology and clinical management.Materials and Method: The data for this study were collected and reviewed retrospectively from the records and radiographs of 768 patients who were treated for maxillofacial trauma in the department of maxillofacial surgery at the Shiraz Chamran Emergency Hospital, Iran, between 2004 and 2010.Results: A total of 730 of the subjects were the patients with fractures of the facial skeleton. The mean age was 26.6± 12.6 years, ranging from 2 to 81 years. Traffic accident was the most frequent etiological factor of maxillofacial fractures irrespective of gender (69.9% for men and 54.2% for women), whereas the second most frequent cause of injuries was falling down (9.8% for men and 21.5% for women) .The other etiologies were assaults (5.2%), sport related injuries (1.3%) and firearm injuries (1%). Regarding the head injuries in patients with maxillofacial fractures, brain contusion was seen in 227(29.6%) patients and 13.5% of patients had lacerations in the facial soft tissue. The monthly distribution peaked in October, with 81 cases (10.5%), which would be for the reason that schools open in this month. The next highest incidence was in December, with 80 cases (10.4%), probably because of the changing weather's effect on road traffic.Conclusion: Isolated mandibular fracture due to the road traffic accident was the most common type of maxillofacial injuries in the city of Shiraz.

زردهی تخم مرغ یکی از رایجترین ترکیبات برای محافظت اسپرم در خلال فرآیندهای یخ زدن و یخ گشایی است. هدف این آزمایش، مقایسه اثر محافظتی زردهی تخم چهار گونه پرنده (مرغ، اردک، بوقلمون و کبوتر)، برای محافظت اسپرم قوچ در برابر آسیبهای یخ زدن بود. نمونههای منی از 6 قوچ با تحریک الکتریکی جمعآوری شدند. نمونهها با رقیق کننده تریس-سیتریک اسید-فروکتوز که دارای زردهی تخم پرندگان مختلف (15%) و گلیسرول (5%) بودند، آمیخته و رقیق و در استراهای 5/0 میلیلیتری در نیتروژن مایع یخ زده شدند. پس از یخ گشایی، جنبایی پیشرونده و درصد اسپرم زنده یا مرده و سلامت آکروزوم با روش رنگآمیزی ائوزین-نیگروزین و گیمسا، بیدرنگ پس از یخ گشایی، و 2 و 4 ساعت پس از یخ گشایی ارزیابی شد. جنبایی پیشرونده، درصد اسپرم زنده و سلامت آکروزوم در رقیق کننده دارای زردهی تخم کبوتر در مقایسه با رقیق کنندههای دارای زردهی تخم بوقلمون، اردک و مرغ به طور معنیداری (P<0.05) بالاتر بود، اما با پیشرفت زمان پس از یخ گشایی به طور معنیداری کاهش یافت. برهم کنش بین زمان پس از یخ گشایی و نوع زرده معنیدار نبود. نتایج نشان داد که زردهی تخم کبوتر در مقایسه با زردهی تخم مرغ، اثر محافظتی بهتری برای اسپرم قوچ دارد ولی نیاز به ارزیابیهای باروری بیشتری است.

Egg yolk is the most commonly used cryoprotective agent for sperm cryopreservation of several species.
The objective of this experiment was to compare the effectiveness of egg yolk from four avian species
(domestic chicken, duck, turkey and pigeon) on sperm quality following cryopreservation of the ram semen.
Ejaculates were collected, using an electroejaculator, from six fertile rams. Samples were diluted in a triscitric
acid-fructose extender containing egg yolk (15%) and glycerol (5%). Diluted samples were cooled
slowly to 5°C over 2 h and equilibrated at that temperature for 2 h. Aliquots of samples were loaded into 0.5
ml straws and frozen in liquid nitrogen vapor for 15 min and stored in liquid nitrogen. Post-thaw progressive
motility, live/dead ratio and acrosomal integrity of 200 sperm per slide stained with eosin-nigrosin and
giemsa, were evaluated at 0, 2 and 4 h after thawing. Pigeon egg yolk had the most cryoprotective effect in
terms of progressive motility, livability and acrosomal integrity (P(Pindicated that pigeon egg yolk might be superior to chicken egg yolk for cryopreservation of ram spermatozoa in tris-citric acid-fructose yolk extender, however, further experiments are needed to evaluate its effects on fertility.- انتشار مقاله: 21-01-1390

- چکیده انگلیسی: The antimicrobial activity of methanolic extracts from different parts of 11 indigenous wild plant
species used in traditional medicines of Iran were tested against nine species of microorganisms: Escherichia
coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae,
Salmonella typhi, Bacillus subtilis, Aspergillus niger and Candida albicans. The antimicrobial efficacy was
determined using the disk diffusion (0.5, 1, 2 and 4 mg/disk) and minimal inhibition concentration (MIC)
method. Among the 11 tested herbs, 9 plants showed antimicrobial activity against one or more species of
microorganism. The most active antimicrobial plants were Stachys obtusicrena, Anvillea garcinii, Salvia

- چکیده انگلیسی: Due to many important applications, the group III-Nitride semiconductors have recently attracted
remarkable attention among semiconductor researchers and engineers. In this paper, we report on the impact of extrinsic and temporal carriers on the screening of polarization internal fields. The optical efficiency of GaN/AlGaN multiple quantum well (MQW) nanostructures were studied by means of photoluminescence
(PL) and time-resolved PL measurements. Extrinsic carriers come from Si doping in the barriers, while
temporal carriers originate when the samples are excited by laser beam. The emission peaks of MQWs in PL
spectra of the undoped and low-doped samples show a shift towards higher energy levels as excitation
intensity increases, while the other samples do not exhibit such a phenomenon due to the dominance of the

- چکیده: چکیده- زیتون(Olea europaea L.) یکی از باارزشترین و گستردهترین درختان میوه در ایران است. تغییراتی که در ثبات غشا، فتوسنتز و فعالیت آنزیمهای آنتیاکسیدان در چهار رقم زیتون (‘دکل’، ‘شیراز’، ‘زرد’ و ‘آمیگدالیفولیا’) در اثر تنش شوری ایجادمیشود با تأکید بر رابطه بین این ویژگیها و تجمع یونهای سدیم و پتاسیم مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. گیاهان در شرایط گلخانهای در معرض چهار تیمار شوری (0، 100، 150 و 200 میلی مولار کلرید سدیم) قرار گرفتند. تیمار گیاهان زیتون با سطحهای بالای شوری، باعث کاهش مقدار کلروفیل نسبی برگ، فتوسنتز، تعرق و مقدار پتاسیم برگ و ریشه شد. تنش کلرید سدیم فعالیت آنزیمهای سوپراکسید دیسموتاز و پراکسیداز را در برگهای زیتون افزایش داد. با افزایش غلظت کلرید سدیم در خاک، غلظت یون سدیم در برگها و ریشهها افزایش یافت. تفاوت در کارایی مکانیسم دفع یون سدیم در رقمهای زیتون مورد مطالعه، سبب تفاوت در میزان تحمل آنها به تنش شوری شد. رقم ‘زرد’ بدون هیچ آسیب مشهودی به سلولها، بیشترین تحمل را به غلظتهای بالای نمک از خود نشان داد. رابطه بین ویژگیهای مورد مطالعه در پاسخ به تنش و تجمع یونها در برگها و ریشههای رقمهای زیتون به طور کامل مورد بحث قرار گرفت.
- چکیده انگلیسی: ABSTRACT- Olive (Olea europaea L.) is one of the most valuable and widespread fruit trees in Iran. Salt stress-induced changes in membrane stability, photosynthesis and antioxidant enzyme activity were examined on four olive cultivars (Dakal, Shiraz, Zard and Amigdalifolia) by emphasizing the correlation between measured parameters and ion (K+, Na+) accumulation. Plants were subjected to four salt treatments (0, 100, 150 or 200 mM NaCl) under greenhouse conditions. The exposure of the olive plants to increased salinity resulted in a decline in relative leaf chlorophyll content (RLCC), photosynthesis rate (Pn), transpiration rate (E) and leaf and root K+ content. NaCl increased superoxide dismutase (SOD) and peroxidase (POX) activity of olive leaves. Increasing the concentrations of NaCl in soil increased the concentration of Na+ in the leaves and roots. Differences in the effectiveness of Na+ exclusion mechanism among cultivars at high salinity reflected differences in salt tolerance. ‘Zard’, the better-adapted cultivar, displayed tolerance to high internal salt concentrations without apparent cell damage. Relationships between parameters involved in salinity response are discussed in relation to ion accumulation in leaves and roots of olive cultivars.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In a powerful industry, supplier selection is one of the complex processes that can increase productivity and competitive advantages. Supplier selection includes different quantitative, qualitative, and also interactive criteria. In addition, the selection process has always faced with inadequate and incomplete data. Multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) is a useful approach that can be applied, for addressing the opting problems of a supplierconsidering mentioned issues. In this approach, the interaction between criteria can be considered with several methods, such as Choquet integral, which is a practical method for decision ranking. Also, incomplete data can be covered with incomplete analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method. Therefore, in this study, an application of Choquet integral along with incomplete AHP method is provided for supplier selection problem at the petroleum industry. After achieving the ranking rate of suppliers, requested orders are assigned to preferred suppliers by using multi-objective linear programming(MOLP) model and ɛ-constraint method to generate the Pareto optimal points. As a result, supplier 3 with weight 0.8274 was the most preferred supplier in which 50% of total orders was assigned to this supplier as the best selection.
