- چکیده انگلیسی: Heracleum is one of the greatest genera of the Umbelliferae family that has more than 120 species. This genus is represented by 109 species in Asia. Common names for the genus or its species include hogweed and cow parsnip. This paper discusses the phytochemistry, ethnopharmacological use and pharmaceutics of Heracleum species. Many kinds of metabolites have been isolated and identified, that furanocoumarins are among the significant ones. Modern pharmacological studies demonstrated that Heracleum and its active compounds have extensive biological activity, particularly in anticonvulsant, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, anticancer, anti-psoriatric, anti-vitiligo and antioxidant activities. In clinical test, Heracleum has successfully been utilized to treat psoriasis, vitiligo, carminative, stomachs, pain killer and anticonvulsant.

- چکیده انگلیسی: During this study, we report the green synthesis of magnetic copper ferrite nanoparticles using tragacanth gum as a reducing and stabilizing agent by the sol-gel method. The green synthesized CuFe2O4 MNPs are characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed the formation of Cubic phase ferrite MNPs with average crystallite size of 14 nm. This study has demonstrated that CuFe2O4 nanoparticles can act as an efficient catalyst for selective oxidations of alcohols applying oxone (potassium hydrogen monopersulfate) as oxidant in the presence of acetonitrile as solvent at 40 ºC. Primary and secondary alcohols gave the corresponding products in good yields. Furthermore, the catalyst can be simply recovered and reused several times with almost no loss in activity.

The present study aimed to evaluate the effect of sleep pattern modification on reducing the math learning disorder in the sixth-grade elementary school students in the Kerman city, Iran.
Materials and Methods: This study was carried out using a semi-empirical, pre-, and post-survey method. A control group and sample population of 2,950, including all of the girl students studying in the sixth grade of the elementary school in the of Kerman in the 2019-2020 academic year, and 40 people with the highest score in the Sleep Disorder Scale for Children (SDSC), who were willing to cooperate with the researcher, were selected as samples and were randomly put into two groups of 20 individuals. The subjects participated in 45-minute sleep pattern modification sessions one day a week for six weeks, and the control group did not receive any council or treatment during this period. At the end of this period, both groups were evaluated using a post-survey approach. The tools used in this study include SDSC questionnaires and Keymath test. Multivariate Analysis of Covariance (MANCOVA), and Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) was used to analyze the theories.
Results: The results of the study showed that sleep pattern modification has a significant effect on math learning, and the modification of sleep pattern effect coefficient on math learning was 0.974. The further results of the study showed that sleep pattern modification significantly affected learning basic concepts, mathematical operations, and applications of mathematics, and the effect of sleep pattern modification on learning basic concepts, mathematical operations, and applications of mathematics was 0.922, 0.904, and 0.935, respectively.
Conclusion
According to the results, sleep pattern modification can reduce students’ math learning disorder; therefore, it is suggested to examine, and if needed, modify the sleep pattern of students with a math learning disorder.- انتشار مقاله: 15-06-1399

- چکیده انگلیسی: This study was designed to investigate the effects of different levels of Tarragon powder on performance and carcass’ characteristics of broiler chickens. 200 one-day-old Ross 308 male broiler chickens in a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 5 replicates per treatment and 10 birds in each replicate were used. Experimental diets were set on the basis of corn-soy-wheat and Ross 308 broiler chickens nutritional requirements tables by the use of UFFDA ration formulation software for each of the (1-21 days) and (22-42 days) period. Treatments were: base diet (control), base diet + 0.125% of Tarragon powder, base diet + 0.25% of Tarragon powder, base diet + 0.5% of Tarragon powder.The results of experiment showed that experimental dietaries caused no significant difference between the Feed Intake of different treatments statistically (P>0.05). The consumption of experimental rations increased body weight in control treatment and 0.125% Tarragon treatment when compared with powder 0.5%Tarragon powder treatments in 1-21 days old (P<0.01). It also decreased the body weight in 0.5%Tarragon powder treatment when compared with control treatment significantly in 1-42 days old (P<0.05). The consumption of experimental rations caused significant increasing of 0.5%Tarragon powder treatment’s Feed conversion ratio when compared with control treatment and 0.125% Tarragon powder treatment in 1-21 days old (P<0.05) as well as in 1-42 days old (P<0.01).The consumption of experimental rations caused significant decrease of 0.5%Tarragon powder treatments’ production efficiency index when compared with control treatment and 0.125% Tarragon powder in 1-42 days old (P<0.01). The consumption of experimental rations caused significant increase of 0.5%Tarragon powder treatment Mortality rate when compared with control treatment and 0.125% Tarragon powder in 1-42 days old (P<0.01). The consumption of experimental rations had no significant effect on the relative weight of breast, thigh, cookable carcasses and abdominal fat of different treatments in the whole process of husbandry in 1-42 days old (p>0.05). It seems that adding Artemisia dracunculus (Tarragon) powder 0.5%level to the broiler chicken’s rations can decrease the body weight when compared with the body weight of other treatments; accordingly this can lead to significant increase of this treatment’s feed ratio conversion when compared with other treatments.

The results of the experiment showed that the consumption of experimental rations didn’t have any effect on the relative weight of digestive system’s accessories significantly (gizzard, Bursa, stomach and Pancreas) and weight and length of digestive parts’ (Duodenum, Jejunum, Ileum, Secum, Rectum, and whole small intestine) in different treatments in the whole process of raising in 1 to 42 days old (P<0.05). It seems that adding Artemisia dracunculus (Tarragon) powder 0. 5 % level has had negative effect on the performance of broiler chickens in the whole process of husbandry, but in comparison with its effect on digestive parts’ weight and length, it has had no significant effect on them.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background and aims: Staphylococcus aureus and anaerobic gram-positive cocci, are medically the most important species in the genus Staphylococcus. Sometimes, the bacteria are called S. aureus. The constantly growing antibiotic-resistant bacterium is very important in treatments. The aim of this study is to evaluate the antimicrobial activity of ethanol extract from Citrullus colocynthis against the S. aureus resistant to antibiotics.
Methods: S. aureus strains were isolated from the city of Zabol and C.colocynthis extract was prepared using rotary devices and the MIC and MBC were determined by microdilution method.
Results: The results of this study showed that the extract from C. colocynthis inhibits the growth of bacteria in different concentrations, and that despite the relative strength of most species with different concentrations, the highest sensitivity was observed in concentrations of 10 and 20 mg/ml, in which is 100% bacteria were gone. C. colocynthis extract at a concentration of approximately 5 mg /ml had the highest inhibitory effect.
Conclusion: The results showed high antimicrobial effects of ethanol extract of C. colocynthis, which can offer appropriate drug therapy.- انتشار مقاله: 28-01-1396
