- چکیده انگلیسی: Polyvinyl alcohol/ glycerin- magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (PVAGLPs) have been synthesized successfully by hydrothermal method. The as-prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectra (FTIR). The adsorbed activities of the polyvinyl alcohol/ glycerin- magnetic iron oxide nano particles (PVAGLPs) were carried out varying parameters for adsorption Cr (III) and Hg (II) ions. Adsorption experiments were carried out varying parameters such as initial metal ion concentration (10-100 ml/g), pH (1-9), contact time (10-120 min) and weight of adsorbents (0.1-0.6 g). The increase in metal uptake with increase in dose of adsorbent from 0.1 – 0.6g was due to the increase in surface area and number of active sites for the adsorption. Shows that the adsorbent of metal ions increased from 65 to 92% and 54 to 82% for Hg (II) and Cr (III) respectively. Optimum conditions for the removal of Cr (III) and Hg (II) with PVAGLPs are: 0.4 g of adsorbent, concentration 50 ppm, at 25°C and at pH 5.0 for Cr (III) and 4.0 for Hg (II).

- چکیده انگلیسی: Novel ternary nanocomposite photocatalysts based on g-C3N4/Fe3O4/TiO2 nanosheet were synthesized using simple solid combustion, hydrothermal and wetness impregnation methods. The g-C3N4 nanosheet (2D)/ Fe3O4/ TiO2 nanosheet (2D) triad-interface nanocomposite arranged in the form of Fe3O4 nanoparticle was sandwiched and well dispersed on the surface between g-C3N4 and TiO2 nanosheets. The synthesized all composites were characterized by techniques such as X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) Spectroscopy, Field Emission Scanning Electronic Microscopy (FE-SEM), Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM), Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM), Specific Surface Area (SSA) and Dynamic Laser Scattering analyzer (DLS). The effect of Fe3O4 loading quantity on photocatalytic overall performance indicated that g-C3N4 nanosheets/ Fe3O4 /TiO2 nanosheets with 5wt.% Fe3O4 nanoparticle exhibit the best photocatalytic ability. After irradiation for 210 min, the methylene blue (MB) degradation efficiency was 63% for g-C3N4, 58% for TiO2, 71% for g-C3N4-TiO2, 85% for g-C3N4-1wt% Fe3O4-TiO2, 96% for g-C3N4-5wt% Fe3O4- TiO2, and 77% for g-C3N4-10wt% Fe3O4-TiO2 indicating that nanocomposites with 5wt% Fe3O4 had the best photocatalytic performance. The SSA of the TiO2, g-C3N4, g-C3N4-TiO2 and g-C3N4-10wt% Fe3O4-TiO2 were determined using Sear’s method. Finally, it is worth mentioning that the surface area of the g-C3N4-10wt% Fe3O4- TiO2 photocatalyst has been found to be 66.2 m2/g.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Thermoplastic starch (TPS) materials present several advantages to the plastic industry and
when blended with other materials they can exhibit improved mechanical and moisture
sensitivity properties compared to pure TPS materials. Further investigations on TPS: PVA
blends are of particular interest due to their excellent compatibility and improved properties such
as tensile strength, elongation, toughness and processability, predominantly due to an
improvement in melt strength compared to pure TPS material. The aims of the study were to
investigate the effect of varying polyvinyl alcohol content within the TPS blends on the rate and
extent of starch enzymatic hydrolysis using enzyme alpha-amylase. Analyses the enzymatic
degradation behavior of poly(vinyl alcohol) with starch was based on the determinations of
Weight loss and the reducing sugars. The degraded residues have been examined by FT-IR

- چکیده انگلیسی: : Optical separate spatial dark and bright soliton pairs in steady-state case in one dimension, for a series circuit consisting of two-photon photorefractive (PR) crystal are investigated. Each crystal can be supported the spatial soliton, and at least one must be photovoltaic. The two solitons are known collectively as separate spatial soliton pairs with dark–dark, bright–dark and bright–bright. Results show that when an optical wave has a spatial extent much less than the width of the crystal, only the dark soliton can effect on the other soliton by light-induced current, while the bright soliton doesn't have such an effect. In fact when a crystal supports a bright soliton, the light-induced current is so small that the crystal cannot act as a current source, whereas when a crystal supports a dark soliton, the light-induced current is strong enough to affect the other soliton in the other crystal. Numerical results confirm that the two solitary states remain invariant under propagation. We also show that these solitons are stable under a small perturbation.

Annually, more than 1.4 million of the world population suffer from nosocomial infections. The present study aimed to assess the patients' knowledge about the symptoms of hospital infections.
Materials and Methods:
This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted through the census method on 350 patients admitted to Shahid Kamyab Hospital, Mashhad, Iran. They were asked to complete a researcher-made questionnaire covering such information as demographic characteristics and questions to evaluate awareness about the symptoms of hospital-acquired infections. The data were analyzed in SPSS software (version 22) using descriptive statistics.
Results:
The majority of the participants (65%) in this study were male, and 68.7% of the cases had a higher level of awareness regarding the symptoms of hospital infections.
Conclusion:
Considering the higher level of patients' knowledge about the symptoms of hospital infections, the patients' education process can be continued to keep and improve this trend.- انتشار مقاله: 06-07-1399

- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction: Patient satisfaction is an accurate assessment factor for evaluating the performance of health policies in the community. The purpose of this study is to assess patients' satisfaction with emergency department of Imam Reza hospital of Mashhad Iran.
Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional study, during six months period from April to October 2012, 420 patients were entered to study in morning, evening and night shifts before being discharged or transferred from emergency department. The Press Ganey questionnaire of patient satisfaction was completed.
Results: 420[daneshgar1] patients in three work shifts of morning (140 patients) evening (140 patients) and night (140 patients) participated in our research. 226 (53.8%) of participants were male and 194(46.2%) were female. The average of patients’ time waiting for doctors' visit was 10.7±6.1 minutes. The mean score of satisfaction during attendance in Emergency Department (ED), during physicians' visit and overall satisfaction was 25.24±5.04, 25.32±5.42, 8.52±1.91 respectively. The highest level of satisfaction is related to speed of admission (81%), medical treatment (76%), nursing skills for doing medical orders (71.4%) and lowest level of satisfaction is related to comfort and pleasantness of the waiting area (45.9%), time the physician spent with the patient (56.5%) and length of wait before going to an exam room (62.8%).
Conclusion: Attempt for reducing waiting time, providing comfort environment, increasing the time of visit with emergency physicians and enhance service quality based on patient needs can reduce the patient dissatisfaction.- انتشار مقاله: 28-06-1393

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Smoking is very important during pregnancy because of severe fetal and maternal complications. No community-based studies have been conducted on pregnant women in Iran. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of smoking during pregnancy, as well as maternal and neonatal complications in Mashhad, Iran, during 2017.
Methods: This cross-sectional study reviewed the information of 1140 and 92,225 smoking and non-smoking pregnant women during pregnancy, respectively, and 3-5 days after delivery using Sina Electronic Health Record System in Mashhad, Iran, during 2017. All data were extracted, encoded, and entered into SPSS software (version 16).
Results: Out of the total of 93,365 pregnant women with a mean age of 22.36 years, the prevalence of smoking during pregnancy was significantly higher among those who live in the city (i.e., Mashhad), compared to individuals living in the suburbs or villages. The mean rates of stillbirth, prematurity, very-low-birth-weight, and low-birth-weight were higher in smoking pregnant mothers, compared to non-smoking ones (p <0.0001). The prevalence of smoking among literate and employed pregnant mothers was significantly higher than illiterate and unemployed pregnant women (p <0.0001). The mean birth weight of newborns of smoking mothers (1528gr) was less than the half mean of the birth weight (3180gr) of newborns of non-smoking mothers (p <0.0001).
Conclusion: The prevalence of smoking in mothers living in Mashhad, Iran, was 1.2%, which is less than the global average. The results of this study showed that smoking during pregnancy has many maternal and fetal complications.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Meningitis, pneumonia, and sepsis in newborns and young infants (age < 60 days) are the main causes of childhood mortality in developing countries. Even though streptococcus pneumonia is the most commonly detected microorganism in pediatric bacterial meningitis, it is rare in newborn infants. The following article reports a case of pneumococcal meningitis that was detected early in a newborn infant in 2013. A female baby was born by vaginal delivery with a birth weight of 2900 grams. She was symptomatic (poor feeding) from her first day of life, but she was admitted with a toxic status (dehydrated, lethargic, cyanotic, hypo tone, hypo reflex) to our referral center on her third day life. Her blood culture showed no growth of any organism and her urine culture was also negative, but the Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) culture showed growth of streptococcus pneumonia. The maternal sepsis workup was normal. Despite all therapeutic management, unfortunately, the patient died on her fourth day after admission.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this research, we have developed cheap recyclable and task-specific acidic ionic liquids (AILs) 1-hydrogen-3-methylimidazolium hydrogen sulfate [Hmim]HSO4, 1-hydrogen-3-methylimidazolium chloride [Hmim]Cl, 2-pyrrolidonium hydrogensulfate [Hnhp]HSO4 and applied them in acid catalyzed synthesis of quinoxaline derivatives from 1,2-phenylendiamines and 1,2-dicarbonyl compounds. The products could be separated from the catalyst simply by filtration and the catalyst could be recycled and reused several times without noticeable loss of efficiency.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this study, corrosion behavior of copper that was deformed by Simple Shear Extrusion (SSE) method was investigated in 3%wt NaCl solution. Modified Williamson-Hall method, applied on the X-ray diffraction patterns of the samples, showed that increase in the number of SSE passes led to increasing in the dislocation density in the copper samples. Moreover, such deformed samples exhibited fewer corrosion currents, in the potentiodynamic polarization test results, than that of annealed one. In addition, Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) test was employed to assess the SSEed copper corrosion performance, and the results revealed that the SSE technique has a beneficial effect on the corrosion behavior of copper in 3 wt% NaCl aquatic solution.
