- چکیده انگلیسی: Two new triterpenoid saponins, named, 3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl (1→3)-Olean-12- ene- 19, 23-diol 1 and 3-O-{O-α-L-rhamno-pyranosyl-(1→3)-O-[-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→3)]-β-D-glucopyranosyl}-pomolic acid were isolated from the stem bark of Xeromphis nilotica through extensive chromatographic technique [TLC and CC] and their structures were elucidated on the basis of their spectral data [1D, 2D NMR and HR-ESI-MS] and chemical evidence.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this work, four fatty acid derivatives including, methyl tritriacont-17-en-1-oate 1, (9Z, 12Z)-ethyl octadeca-9,12-dienoate 2, stearic acid 3, and 21-acetyl tetracosanoic acid 4 were isolated from acetone extract of the stem barks of Albizia amara by chromatographic separation [TLC and CC]. The structures of the isolated compounds were established on the basis of extensive spectroscopic studies including 1D, 2D-NM, and MS analysis, and compared with literature. Compound 1, 2 and 3 were reported first time from the Albizia genus and compound 4 was a new phytoconstituent isolated for the first time from plant sources.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this study, the diterpen compounds present in the ethyl acetate fraction of stem bark of Boswellia papyrifera grown in Sudan were investigated using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), based upon interpretation of the mass spectra fragmentation data, matching their mass spectra with NIST databases, and by comparison of the mass spectra obtained with those reference compounds published in literature. A total of nine diterpenes were identified as m-camphorene 1, pimaradiene 2, verticilla-4(20),7,11-triene 3, serratol 4, incensole 5, incensyl acetate 6, duva-3,9,13-trien-1α-ol-5,8-oxide-1-acetate 7, incensole oxide 8, incensole oxide acetate 9 respectively. Among them compound 1, 2, 4 and 7 were reported here for the first time from this plant.
