- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction: Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders are among the most prevalent abnormalities of the jaw, which affect the masticatory system, including the muscles, TMJ, and tendons. Clinical examination alone cannot determine the cause of temporomandibular disorder (TMD). In most cases, the cause of TMD and a proper treatment plan are determined based on imaging modalities. The present study aimed to investigate
the bone changes in the patients with TMD symptoms using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT).
Methods: This retrospective, cross-sectional study was conducted through recording data on the pain caused by TMJ (upon touching, using the TMJ, and maximum mouth opening), clicking, and crepitus using a checklist of clinical symptoms. CBCT images were examined for the associated bone changes, including sclerosis, flattening, erosion, and osteophyte. Data analysis was performed in SPSS version 21 using Chi-square and logistic regression analysis. Results: In total, 160 joint images were examined, including 132 cases of flattening (82.5%), 45 cases of sclerosis (28.12%), 41 cases of osteophytes (25.62%), and 66 cases of erosion (41.25%). A significant association was observed between pain and flattening, and sclerosis and osteophytes. Moreover, a significant correlation was observed between flattening and clicking (P<0.05). Conclusion: According to the results, flattening was the most common bone change in the patients with TMD. In addition, sclerosis had the most significant association with pain, while sclerosis, osteophytes, and erosion were significantly correlated with joint crepitation.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this study, the pressure drop for the binary mixtures of particles differing in size and density in a pseudo-2D spouted bed was experimentally studied. A binary mixture of solid particles including sand, Gypsum, and polyurethane was used in the experimental setup. Effects of static bed height, cone angle, particles diameter, and a particles weight fraction on the bed pressure drop were evaluated. The relationship between the peak pressure drops of the binary mixtures to the minimum spouting velocity was discussed. The trend of variation of pressure drop versus superficial gas velocities for binary particle mixtures in the spouted beds was found to be similar with that for the single sized particle system. The particles that sink to the bed bottom are called jetsam, whereas those gathered at the upper section of the bed are called flotsam. At the same air velocity for jetsam and flotsam rich systems, the maximum pressure drop in the jetsam rich system was larger than the flotsam one. The measured values of minimum spouting velocity were compared with some empirical correlations for single sized particles in spouted beds.

- چکیده انگلیسی: With the wind permanent flow in the cities, obtaining the minimal pollution in the environment is accessible. Different policies have been considered for optimization of cities such as attachment and or reduction of building parts like air-traps, ceiling forms and so on. Due to population growth in cities and the increasing need for resettlement these people in the cities, inevitably, to the high-rise buildings have gone. The people living in high-rise buildings to meet the needs of their vital urban open spaces are forced to use. To have knowledge about air pollution through buildings, the CFD based software of Envi-met is used. In this case, we can say that the best angle to transfer pollution is the angle of 30 degrees. Also in an ideal case with imposed changes in the form, we could enhance the problem by better navigation of inside wind of urban canyons into spaces between blocks of buildings that have the capacity to trap the particles. Final it is found that we may be able to have more optimal results for transition of pollutions by suitable orientation of blocks against the wind direction of blow.
