- چکیده:
- چکیده انگلیسی: The renewable energy can be utilized to satisfy the energy demand. Moreover, the solar energy as the most abundant energy resource among renewable energies plays a crucial role to provide the energy demand. The BIPV (building integrated photovoltaics) systems can be considered to supply the required energy demand from renewable sources. The essential advantage of BIPV systems is that they can be utilized as building component such as roof, window, shading systems and building façade and they can generate electricity simultaneously. Even though the photovoltaic technologies have been improved within past few years, however the utilization of the BIPV systems will be considered expensive. For this reason, the payback period calculation is considered a vital parameter in evaluating the BIPV systems. In this study, the overall energy consumption for producing one m2 of a mono-crystalline photovoltaic module is calculated 1334 kWh. Additionally, the photovoltaic module data for three companies were investigated and the annual energy productions for one m2 of each company’s product were obtained. The results showed that the average energy payback time for 270 and 280 watt modules are 5.565 and 5.254 respectively. Moreover, the energy payback time for 290, 325 and 340 watt modules were calculated 4.903, 5.437 and 4.965 respectively.

- چکیده:
- چکیده انگلیسی: Objective(s): Existing studies have demonstrated that intravenous and intramyocardial-administrated mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) lead to tissue repair after cardiac disorders. We compared the efficiency of both administration methods.
Materials and Methods: A rat model of isoproterenol-induced heart failure (ISO-HF) was established to compare the effects of intravenous and intramyocardial-administrated MSCs on cardiac fibrosis and function. The animals were randomly assigned into six groups: i) control or normal, ii) ISO-HF (HF) iii) ISO-HF rats treated with intramyocardial administration of culture medium (HF+IM/CM), iv) ISO-HF rats treated with intravenous administration of culture medium ( HF+IV/CM), v) ISO-HF rats treated with intravenous administration of MSCs (HF+IV/MSCs), vi) ISO-HF rats treated with intramyocardial administration of MSCs ( HF+IM/MSCs). Cultured MSCs and culture medium were administrated at 4 weeks after final injection of ISO. Heart function, identification of MSCs, osteogenic differentiation, adipogenic differentiation, cardiac fibrosis and tissue damage were evaluated by echocardiography, flow-cytometery, von Kossa, oil red O, Masson’s trichrome and H & E staining, respectively.
Results: Both intravenous and intramyocardial MSCs therapy significantly improved heart function and reduced cardiac fibrosis and tissue damage (P<0.05), whereas the cultured medium had no beneficial effects.
Conclusion: In sum, our results confirm the validity of both administration methods in recovery of HF, but more future research is required.- انتشار مقاله: 13-03-1398

- چکیده:
- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Angiogenic activity is an important event in oral carcinogenesis. During transition of normal
oral mucosa to different grades of dysplasia and to invasive carcinoma, significant increase of vascularity occurs.
Angiogenesis can be determined by immunohistochemical assessment of several endothelial cell markers like
Endogelin (CD 105), expressed in activated endothelial cells and associated with neovasculature, and the vascular
endothelial growth factor (VEGF). This study was conducted to evaluate angiogenic activity in oral precancerous lesions
compared with oral invasive carcinomas by immunohistochemical staining of VEGF and CD 105 proteins. Methods:
In the present cross-sectional study, 20 normal, 20 pre-cancerous mucosa and 20 oral invasive carcinoma samples
were immunohistochemically stained. Positive cells were counted in each section and micro vessel density (MVD)
was determined. The data were statistically analyzed by Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests, with a P-value ≤0.05
considered significant. Results: The mean expression value for VEGF was 24.6 in oral invasive carcinoma, 16.4 in
precancerous mucosa and 15.5 in normal mucosa, with no significant differences between the latter two. Endoglin
was negative in all normal mucosa samples, but had scores of 7.58 for precancerous mucosa and 19.4 in oral invasive
carcinoma specimens. MVD was significantly higher in SCC than in dysplastic mucosa. Conclusion: Oral invasive
carcinoma has more angiogenic activity in comparison with pre-cancerous lesions and normal mucosa. Given the high
expression of CD105 positive vessels in malignant lesions, we can argue that determination of mean vessel density (MVD)
by application of the CD105 marker could be a useful parameter to differentiate cancerous from pre-cancerous lesions.- انتشار مقاله: 21-06-1396
