- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction : The usage of information and communications technology (ICT) in educational systems is a flowing and active educational programme. However, prior to its usage, an attempt should be made to identify the factors influencing such a phenomenon. This study aims to identify the psychological and job-related factors affecting the intention to use ICT among teachers in Shiraz. Methods : The present study is applicable from the research type perspective, descriptive from the procedure perspective, and correlative from the research design perspective. The sample includes all teachers in Shiraz. To determine the sample size (n = 255), stratified-cluster random sampling and Cochran’s formula were used. Several questionnaires were completed by the participants, such as subjective norm, task-technology fit, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and intention to use. Validity (in terms of content) and reliability of the questionnaires were confirmed by comments from experts and professors and Cronbach’s alpha coefficient (0.69) respectively. Data analysis was done using structural equation modelling with LISREL software (version 8.8). Results : Task-technology fit, perceived ease of use, intention to use, and subjective norm variables directly or indirectly affect the intention to use ICT. Among these, subjective norm variable has the highest direct impact (0.33) upon the intention to use ICT, while, task-technology fit variable has the highest indirect impact (0.08). Moreover, the highest and lowest total effects on the aforementioned variable are associated with the impact of task-technology fit (0.39) and perceived ease of use (0.27) respectively. Conclusions : The findings indicate that the predicted model could provide useful information for the educational authorities with respect to the importance of job-related and psychological factors that directly or indirectly affect the intention to use ICT among teachers.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction: Nowadays a great deal of information and scientific knowledge is processed through Information Technology including Internet and E-learning. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the factors affecting the use of IT ethically among university students.Materials and Methods: This study was of a descriptive type, which used a correlational design. The study sample consisted of the students studying at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. The sample was selected through accidental stratified method, using Cocharan formula. The data was collected through a researcher made questionnaire, whose validity was approved by experts and whose reliability was found to be 0.88, using Cronbach's alpha. For data analysis, path analysis and LISREL statistical software were used.Results: Three variables of computer including self-efficacy, perceived severity of punishment and subjective norm had a direct effect on needs intensity variable perceived severity of punishment having the greatest effect.Conclusion: Needs intensity, computer self-efficacy, technology specifications, perceived behavioral control, attitude toward ethical use, and perceived severity of punishment, facilitating conditions and ultimately the subjective norm had the highest to the lowest correlation coefficients with the tendency to use IT ethically.

- چکیده انگلیسی: According to the neuroscience, studies on third generation of neural networks called spik- ing neural networks (SNN) have been developed recently. SNNs are used to model natural comput- ing of the brain. Spike train based networks are investigated as signal processing of the brain is an objective. This paper propose a digital hardware implementation of a single spiking neuron. The neuron is used as a direct digital frequency synthesizer. The proposed architecture uses leaky integrate and fire (LIF) neuronal model which is easy to implement. Inter spike interval (ISI) of the input and the output spikes are used as coding scheme. A FPGA platform is utilized due to its flexibility and real time applications. The simulation results of both Matlab and Quartus II indicate acceptable accuracy of the proposed design compared to the related works. The Verilog language is used for hardware simulation. The maximum operating frequency of 250 MHz is reached on Cyclone III device.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Surface electromyography (sEMG) of muscles is a non-invasive tool that can be helpful in the assessment of muscle function and some motor control evaluations. A loss of force, known as muscle fatigue is accompanied by changes in muscle electrical activity. One of the most commonly used surface EMG parameters which reflects paraspinal muscle fatigue during different tasks and positions is median frequency. Although it is widely known that the electromyography power spectrum shifts to lower frequencies during fatiguing contraction, an opinion exists that the validity of spectral shifts in assessment of fatigue is questionable. Some researchers have examined whether other quantities derived from sEMG signals are better indicators for muscle fatigue. Following cyclic flexion/extension and consequence fatigue, variation in sEMG signals may be complex for study. The aim of this study was to determine which of the median frequency (MF) or entropic (ENTR) is more sensitive for measuring muscular fatigue in erector spinae muscles during cyclic flexion/extension.Methods: Surface electromyography of erector spine muscles was recorded in 25 healthy subjects during cyclic dynamic contractions. The experimental session consisted of two parts: measurement of Maximal Voluntary Contraction (MVC), and performing the fatigue test. All subjects performed rhythmic flexion/extension with 50% MVC loading against B-200 Isostation, about 4-6 minutes. The MF and ENTR of the muscle activities were computed to assess muscular fatigue.Results: Paired sample t-tests showed that MF and ENTR changes after fatigue test were significant (P <0.001). Percentage changes of both MF and ENTR were reduced, this reduction for ENTR was more than 40% (P <0.001).Conclusion: It seems that the changes of ENTR in muscle activities have the ability to measure muscular fatigue and is more sensitive in comparison to MF.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Centre of pressure displacement is an indicator of postural control. Children with cerebral palsy have poor postural control. One common intervention to enhance their balance is vestibular stimulation. The aim of this research was to investigate the effect of vestibular stimulation on COP parameters in children with cerebral palsy (3-10 years old).Methods: This study was a randomized double-blind controlled clinical trial. Twenty children with cerebral palsy received vestibular stimulation, two sessions per week with a course of twelve sessions, based on vestibular stimulation protocol including anteroposterior, lateral, ascending – descending movements and spinning. One cerebral palsy group experienced current and conventional occupational therapy while the other received a period of vestibular stimulation during treatment. Force plate outcome measures were center of pressure displacement parameters as well as velocity, area, displacement in X and Y axes.Results: According to Mann-Whitney U test, means in post-tests in two groups with both conditions of eyes open and closed were significant in velocity parameter (eyes open P= 0.036; eyes closed P = 0.021) while Area parameter, COP displacement in X axis (Rang fore after), COP displacement in Y axis (Rang side way) were not significant (P>0.05). Wilcoxon Test showed significant difference in the velocity parameter; eyes open (P=0.012) and eyes closed (P =0.018).Conclusion: Children who received vestibular stimulation are able to change and control COP displacement faster (according to changes in velocity parameters). So we suggest rehabilitation team members especially occupational therapist to apply vestibular stimulation during their treatment.

- چکیده انگلیسی: This study introduces the Differential Transform Method (DTM) in the analysis of the free vibration response of a rotating closed section composite, Timoshenko beam, which features material coupling between flapwise bending and torsional vibrations due to ply orientation. The governing differential equations of motion are derived using Hamilton’s principle and solved by applying DTM. The natural frequencies are calculated and the effects of the bending-torsion coupling, the slenderness ratio and several other parameters on the natural frequencies are investigated using the computer package, Mathematica. Wherever possible, comparisons are made with the studies in open literature.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The reliability of surface electromyographic (sEMG) variables during swallowing determines the potential usefulness of these measures in swallowing assessment and treatment. This study aimed to establish the reliability of the sEMG measures of the swallowing function of muscles during different swallowing conditions in healthy young and old volunteers. Two groups of volunteers (24 older adults, 10 younger adults) participated in this cross-sectional study during 2014. The activity of masseter, submental, and infrahyoid groups were measured using sEMG during three repetitions of different swallowing tasks. Both the relative and absolute reliability (characterized respectively by ICC, SEM%, and SRD%) were calculated for the sEMG indices of muscle activity during swallowing events. Statistical analyses were performed by the SPSS 19.0 and Microsoft Excel 2007 software packages. Statistical significance was set at P≤0.05. The relative reliability calculations showed significant agreements between repetitions for the mean and peak amplitude and the average of median frequency (MDF) of the studied muscles function during most swallowing types in both groups. However, the duration and particularly the time to peak of muscle activity showed significant agreements during fewer swallowing conditions. Excluding MDF, we found high SEM% and SRD% for the studied measures (particularly timing measures) of muscles function during most swallowing types in both groups. The reliability of sEMG measures was influenced by the age and swallowing types. Our findings suggest that the MDF of muscle function during almost all studied swallowing types can be a reliable measure for the sEMG assessment of swallowing function in both younger and older adults.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Objective(s) Rapid tests for detection of Streptococcus agalactiae or Group B Streptococci (GBS) at the onset of labor are needed to permit early intrapartum antibiotic prophylaxis. This study aimed to evaluate the PCR assays targeting the 16S ribosomal RNA gene (16S rDNA) for detection of the GBS in comparison with a specific culture method. Materials and Methods Two swabs were used to obtain vaginal specimens from the 330 pregnant women attended delivery room at Hedayat hospital, Tehran, Iran. One swab was analyzed by direct plating onto selective GBS agar medium (ISLAM) and the other swab was used for a PCR assay, which amplified the 16S rDNA of S. agalactiae. Comparative study between the selective culture and the PCR assay was done among the 330 tested women. Results The GBS colonization rate based on the culture results was 20.6% (68/330). Both culture and PCR methods were positive for 56 and negative for 253 women. The culture method was positive and PCR was negative in 12 women. The culture was negative and the PCR positive for 9 women. Sensitivity of the PCR assay was 82.3% and specificity was 96.5%. The positive predictive value was 86.15% and negative predictive value was 95.4%. Conclusion ISLAM diagnostic procedure and PCR are rapid and reliable analyzing methods, which might be useful for accurate diagnosis of GBS colonization in pregnant women at the time of delivery.

Background
Cow’s milk allergy is one of most prevalent food allergies worldwide. Due to elimination diet it can impair growth in infants. In this study we evaluate growth disorders in Non-immunoglobulin E mediated cow’s milk allergy named allergic proctocolitis.
Materials and Methods: Forty-nine patients were included in this longitudinal study. The study was launched from February 2018 to February 2019 in Akbar hospital, Mashhad-Iran. Cow’s milk allergy was diagnosed according to the clinical presentation and Challenge test. All participants were breastfed during the course of study. Mothers were received 1000 mg calcium and infants 400 IU Vitamin D daily, as routine. The cow’s milk was eliminated from the diet of both mother and infant. Infants were followed up for 9 months with 3 month intervals. Growth patterns were evaluated by measuring height, weight and head circumference z-scores every 3-months. Serum level of Calcium, Vitamin D, PTH and phosphorus were evaluated before and after the follow-up period.
Results: The mean age of the study participants was 4.57±2.41 month. There was a statistical significant difference between weight and height Z score (p=0.028) (p=0.001), respectively, at baseline and 9 months after treatment. However, no significant difference was found in head circumference Z-score at baseline and 9 months after treatment (p=0.564). The increase in Vitamin D and PTH along with the decrease in calcium, phosphorus was significant during the study period (p <0.01).
Conclusion
It seems that elimination diet in infants with cow’s milk allergy would not suppress growth parameters and might even improve it, especially weight gain.

Celiac disease (CD) is a systemic autoimmune disorder due to immune response triggered by ingestion of gluten in the diet. Treatment with lifelong gluten-free diet may impact negatively on the health-related quality of life and may lead to psychological disturbances. The purpose of study was to evaluate quality of life, depression and anxiety in children with celiac disease.
Materials and Methods
In this cross-sectional study was done between 2013 and 2014 at the Gastroenterology Outpatient Clinic (Ghaem Hospital, Mashhad- Iran), patients with serology and biopsy-proven CD, on a gluten-free diet for at least one year, were included in this study and compared with non-celiac healthy children as controls. We used the questionnaire to investigate quality of life, anxiety and depression.
Results
There were statistically significant differences between the mean total anxiety (state, trait) scores and depression score in the celiac patients and control group. Correlations between state and trait anxiety and depression were statistically significant (P= 0.01, r= 0.35) and (P= 0.001, r= 0.52). Reverse correlations between quality of life of CD children and anxiety (state, trait) were statistically significant (P= 0.001, r= 0.51 and P= 0.02, r= 0.32). Mean total score of quality of life was not different in the two groups, but in the physical activity component, quality of life was better in CD patients (P=0.008).
Conclusion
