- چکیده انگلیسی: Poultry meat is very susceptible to oxidation because of the high concentration of polyunsaturated fatty acids, which negatively affects the quality and nutritional values of chicken meat. Coccidiosis is the most common parasitic disease of poultry. Intending to limit anti-parasites usage in poultry feed and also because of the concerns about antibiotic resistance and residues in poultry products, there is a need for research to discover natural alternatives. The effect of nanocurcumin on antioxidant profile (carotenoid and vitamin E contents, lipid oxidation and antioxidant capacity) and pH of broiler chicken breast meat infected with Eimeria species was investigated. Fifty, one-day-old male Ross 308 broiler chickens were assigned to five treatments including non-infected and non-medicated control (NNC), infected non-supplemented control (INC), infected and medicated with nanocurcumin 300 mg kg-1 feed (NCRM1), infected and medicated with nanocurcumin 400 mg kg-1 feed (NCRM2) and infected and antibiotic medicated group. Infection with Eimeria acervulina, E. maxima, and E. tenella decreased vitamin E and carotenoid contents of chicken breast meat significantly. The NCRM2 had significantly enhanced carotenoid and vitamin E levels in chicken breast meat, so there was no significant difference between NCRM2 and NNC group. No significant change was observed in pH value among groups. Malondialdehyde value of breast meat was significantly lower in NCRM1 and NCRM2 than the INC group. The NCRM2 and NCRM1 showed the best antioxidant capacity even better than NNC. In conclusion, nanocurcumin could be a potential feed additive that can increase oxidant stability of broiler chicken breast meat.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Fungal infections cause significant economic losses in the poultry industry either due to their direct infectious nature or due to mycotoxins production. Hatchery contamination with fungi can threaten chicken health. In this regard, geographical and seasonal distributions of airborne fungal contamination of 25 hatcheries in Mazandaran province, northern Iran, were investigated using an open plate method. The results of this study showed that hatcheries have various fungal contaminations, among which the most common were respectively Cladosporium (31.07%), Penicillium (24.00%), Aspergillus (20.63%), sterile hyphae (14.70%) and Alternaria (6.20%) from different regions. The results revealed that the highest level of fungal isolation was in spring and autumn. This study also showed that the concentration of fungal air spora in forest and seaside locations was significantly greater than mountainous ones. In spite of the regular disinfection in commercial hatcheries, fungal contamination was found in different parts.

- چکیده: زمینه مطالعه: محرک های رشد مواد شیمیایی و بیولوژیکی هستند که با هدف بهبود رشد جوجهها و بهبود استفاده از مواد غذایی به جیره اضافه شده و بدین گونه باعث تولید بیشتر و سود بالاتر می شوند. هدف: این تحقیق به منظور بررسی اثرات استفاده از آنزیم، پروبیوتیک و ترکیب آنها بر روی عملکرد جوجههای گوشتی با جیره غذایی بر پایه گندم، جو، سویا از سن 1 تا 47 روزگی انجام شد. روش کار: 480 جوجه گوشتی نر (نژاد آربور آکرز) به طور تصادفی به 6 تیمار، با 4 تکرار برای هر تیمار و 20 پرنده در هر قفس تقسیم شدند. این آزمایش شامل آرایش فاکتوریل 2 × 3 بود، در این آزمایش 3 غلظت از آنزیم (صفر، نصف مقدار تجاری و مقدار تجاری) و 2 غلظت از پروبیوتیک (صفر و مقدار تجاری) در گروههای مختلف استفاده شد. نتایج: نتایج نشان داد که سطح پیشنهادی آنزیم میتواند باعث بهبود وزن و ضریب تبدیل غذایی شود (05/0)p<، اما اضافه کردن پروبیوتیک به تنهایی باعث کاهش ضریب تبدیل شد (05/0.)p< اثر متقابلی بین آنزیم و پروبیوتیک بر روی عملکرد جوجهها دیده نشد (05/0.)p> پروبیوتیک باعث بهبود عملکرد آنزیم در سطوح مختلف نشد. آزمایش طول و وزن نسبی مناطق مختلف روده نشان داد که تنها آنزیم میتواند وزن نسبی و طول ژژنوم و اثنی عشر را کاهش دهد. نتیجه گیری نهایی: این بررسی هیچ اثر متقابلی بین آنزیم و پروبیوتیک بر عملکرد جوجههای گوشتی تغذیه شده با جیره پایه گندم، جو، سویا نشان نداد.
- چکیده انگلیسی: BACKGROUND: Growth promoters are chemical and biological
substances that are added to livestock food with the aim
to improve the growth of chickens in fattening and the utilization
of food, and in this way achieve better production and financial
results. OBJECTIVES:An experiment was conducted to evaluate
the effects of enzyme complex, probiotic, and their combination
on performance of broilers fed a basal wheat-barley-soybean
meal diet from 1 to 47 d of age. METHODS:Atotal of 480-dayold
male broiler chicks (Arbor Acres) were randomly assigned to
6 treatments, with 4 replicate cages per treatment and 20 birds per
cage. The experiment consisted of a 3×2 factorial arrangement
of the treatments, with 3 concentrations of enzyme complex (0,
half of the commercial suggested level or commercial suggested
level) and 2 concentrations of probiotic (0 and suggested level).
RESULTS: Results showed that the suggested level of enzyme
complex could improve body weight and feed conversion ratio
(p<0.05), but addition of probiotic only decreased the feed
conversion ratio (p<0.05). There was no interaction between
enzyme complex and probiotic on performance (p>0.05).
Probiotic supplementation did not improve the efficacy of
enzyme complex at any levels. The examination of length and
relative weight of different regions of intestine showed that only
enzyme complex could decrease the relative weight of duodenum
and length of jejunum; however, there was no interaction
between treatments for these parameters. CONCLUSIONS: This
research did not demonstrate any interaction effect between
enzyme complex and probiotic on broilers performance fed

- چکیده انگلیسی: Objective: Rice Bran Oil (RBO) is extracted from the outer layer of rice. Little information is available regarding its safety. The present study was conducted to assess its safety in chicken embryo model.
Materials and Methods: RBO was injected on day 4 of incubation of chickens. The tissues and serum samples were collected. Oxidative stress parameters in the liver, kidney and brain and biochemical parameters of serum were measured. The deformities were also investigated.
Results: The changes in the liver enzymes activity were not statistically significant. There was significant decrease and increase in lipid peroxidation and glutathione level, respectively. It is suggested that RBO is a natural antioxidant source. Low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL) also decreased. No abnormal findings were observed in the chickens.
Conclusion: No toxic effect was observed following RBO administration in chicken embryos. This study showed that RBO is not a safety concern.- انتشار مقاله: 04-12-1393
