- چکیده انگلیسی: In this study PbZrO3 was prepared as a matrix by the sol-gel process and is characterized by XRD and SEM techniques. The particle size of the synthesized nanocomposite is evaluated about 43 nm. The Lead Zirconate is then doped with Ce3+/TiO2 in different ratios. Nanocomposites are added in the reaction in a photoreactor with a pollutant (an Azo dye) and as a result the degradation percentage is obtained. The degradation was studied by monitoring the change in substrate concentration employing UV spectroscopic analysis technique. Kinetic studies on these nanocomposites are carried out based on the related models and the reaction order is evaluated. Finally, Surface adsorption of the pollutants on the nanocomposite surface is measured through IR technique.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The ability of natural zeolite (Clinoptilolite) to remove copper from aqueous ecosystem was studied in real and laboratory conditions. Fresh water mussels (Anodonta Cygnea) of different sizes were Exposed to copper (150, 350, 450 µgl-1) for 10 days. Copper exposure induced DNA damage in the haemolymph cells of Anodonta of all sizes. In connection with real samples, the amount of damage and even much higher than the first (150 µgl-1) and second (450 µgl-1) treatments was observed. Presence of zeolite in the aquatic environment removed Cu2+ and specially reduced DNA damage in all samples. In vitro results showed a significant reduction of copper metal. Decreasing of other heavy metals Concentration is also observed in vivo. Damage to DNA and to other biomolecules by copper, mean that the availability of Cu2+ ions in vivo must be carefully controlled. analysis of variance and other tests were performed for determination of optimum quantities and exposure time of adsorbent in vivo and in vitro.

- چکیده انگلیسی: This research examined the photocatalytic degradation of oily pollutant, BiVO4 with efficient photocatalytic activities synthesized via hydrothermal method with its surface modified by (3- aminopropyl) triethoxysilane (APTES). The structural, morphological, and optical properties of the as synthesized samples were evaluated by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), contact angle (CA), Thermo Gravimetric Analysis )TGA(, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), and Analysis Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET). The photocatalytic efficiency of the prepared samples was evaluated by Kerosine degradation. The experiments were designed by the Box-Behnken method. Finally, the software is the best point for achieving the highest percentage of degradation of oily pollutant under optimal conditions with pollutant concentration of 436.32 (ppm), time of 2.62 (h), catalyst mass of 0.77 (g), and H2O2 concentration of 0.42 (M).

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this study, immobilized CuAlO2 onto the ZSM-12&35 composite was prepared and used as a photocatalyst to remove N-containing oil pollutants (Carbazole) through advanced oxidation. In this method, acetone is used as a reaction solvent that can be partially converted to fuel oxygenates compounds (Octane enhancers) through an aldol condensation reaction. Photocatalyst characterization was performed using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), Energy-Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS), Mapping, and BET/BJH (Brunauer-Emmett-Teller & Barrett-Joyner-Halenda) techniques. The effect of operating parameters (contaminant concentration, catalyst dosage, and pH of the solution) on the efficiency of carbazole removal (model oil) was investigated through the RSM methodology. The removal products are identified by Gas Chromatography (GC-MAS) technique. The results indicated complete elimination of carbazole under mild conditions as well as the in-situ formation of typical fuel oxygenates compounds through aldol condensation among solvent molecules. Accordingly, this new protocol can be utilized to refine fuel products accompanied by enhancing their octane numbers.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Along with the development of science and technology, the attention of researchers has been drawn to the use of the catalysts for removing pollutants from oil. In this research, the oxidative degradation of quinoline using CuO/MCM-41 nanoparticles was optimized, in the presence of ultraviolet radiation without any auxiliary oxidants using Response Surface Methodology (RSM). The CuO/MCM-41 nanocomposite was synthesized by applying a facile method and was investigated using XRD, FESEM, EDS, Mapping, FTIR, and BET/BJH techniques. The degradation efficiency was measured by a UV spectrophotometer, and was evaluated by the use of the GC-MASS technique. The results indicated that the highest removal of quinoline without using auxiliary oxidant and with the help of synthetic catalyst was about 84%.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this research, at first ordinary Aloe Vera micropowder (OAMP) and its impregnated form (IAMP) as the natural sorbents were prepared and then characterized by several techniques such as Fourier transform spectrophotometry (FT-IR), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Elemental analysis (EA), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller and Barrett-Joyner-Halenda (BET/BJH) essay and X-ray powder diffraction (XRD). The removal efficiencies of the prepared adsorbents were assessed upon their capacities for removing Reactive violet 8 (RV8) and Congo red (CR) dyes as the organic pollutants. Our preliminary adsorption experiments showed that the OAMB ability for removing RV8 and CR is very less than the IAMP form, so we focused on the IAMP removal ability and we used it as a fairy powerful adsorbent in this study. The effect of several parameters such as initial adsorbate concentration (C0), adsorbent dosage, contact time, temperature and solution pH on the adsorption capacity of IAMP adsorbent were investigated and then several isotherm models were examined to fit the experimental results. Consequently, we concluded that the Langmuir and Freundlich models fit reasonably the experimental results. In addition, thermodynamic and kinetic studies of the adsorption process were also done and the corresponding thermodynamic and kinetic parameters were concluded and reported.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Cu and Ni ferrites as the semiconductor materials were synthesized by a microwave sol-gel auto-combustion method. Two cationic surfactants, sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), were applied and the influence of surfactants on the properties of the Cu and Ni ferrite particles was studied. The samples were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) pattern, scanning electron microscope analysis (SEM), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy and diffuse reflectance spectra (DRS). Powder XRD analysis and FT-IR spectroscopy confirmed the formation of ferrite spinel phase. The crystallite size was calculated to be 50-95 nm using Scherrer’s equation. The morphology and size of the synthesized nanoparticles have been observed by scanning electron microscopy. The particles were agglomerated without using surfactant. Using CTAB leads to the samples with layer shapes, and using SDS leads to the samples with pyramidal shapes. The energy band gaps calculated from UV–DRS absorption by using Kubelka-Munk equation were 1.68-1.77 eV, indicating that band gap of Cu ferrites becomes small and band gap of Ni ferrites becomes large in the presence of surfactant.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this research, Ni(8%)/TiO2/Zeolite NaX nanophotocatalyst was synthesized and
evaluated as a desulfurizer catalyst from hydrophane 10 base oil. Various tests,
including X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy-
Dispersive X-ray Analysis (EDXA), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Atomic
Force Microscopy (AFM), and BET/BJH were used to evaluate the photocatalyst
synthesis process. Initially, using Design of Experiment (DOE) technique, optimum
influential parameters were predicted, and 2D plus 3D diagrams were plotted.
Then, 50 ml of oil containing 3782 ppm total sulfur, 0.6 g catalyst, 0.8 g adsorbent,
and 3 h contact time were able to remove 20% of sulfur when exposed to the
visible light. Sulfur was measured at all steps using inductively coupled plasma
(ICP) technique. The final results suggested that the nanophotocatalytic process
is a feasible way when compared to difficult and complicated steps with harder

- چکیده انگلیسی: The creep behavior of basalt fiber reinforced epoxy (BFRE) and glass fiber reinforced epoxy (GFRE) composites was studied through tensile testing at high temperature. To study the effect of reinforcing epoxy, the micro glass powder (MGP) was added at various volume percentage into the epoxy resin in BFRE composites. The initial strain for all the specimens were evaluated and compared with each other. No creep rupture failures were observed in short-term (less than 10000 seconds) high temperature (T= 150 and 200 °C) tensile creep tests at the loads up to 15% of the ultimate tensile strength (UTS) of the specimen. It was also found that the creep resistance of basalt fiber reinforced epoxy (BFRE) was higher than that of glass fiber reinforced epoxy (GFRE) and the materials are generally behaved as non-linear for all stresses and temperatures. Adding MGP decreased the initial strain of BFRE, but had no significant effect on the overall life time of BFRE.
