- چکیده انگلیسی: Anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the pulmonary artery (ALCAPA) is a rare congenital cardiac malformation. We report three cases of ALCAPA who survived to adulthood. The first case was a 51-year-old woman who complained of typical chest pain that was diagnosed with ALCAPA using cardiac catheterization and coronary computed tomographic angiography (CTA). The second case was a 30-year-old woman with a history of surgery for atrial septal defect at 10 years old who presented with progressive exertional dyspnea. Cardiac catheterization confirmed the diagnosis of ALCAPA. The third case was a 19-year-old man who was brought to our clinic due to aborted sudden cardiac death on the previous day. Cardiac catheterization and coronary CTA confirmed the diagnosis. They underwent the closure of orifice of the anomalous left coronary artery and grafting the left anterior descending artery concomitantly with mitral valve repair. All patients were followed up during a mean of 8.7 months and they were asymptomatic.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: CD1d presents glycolipid antigens to invariant natural killer T (iNKT) cells. The role of CD1d in the development of peptic ulcer and gastric cancer has not been revealed, yet.
Objective: To clarify the expression of alternatively spliced variants of CD1d in peptic ulcer and gastric cancer.
Methods: Patients with dyspepsia were selected and divided into three groups of non-ulcer dyspepsia (NUD), peptic ulcer disease (PUD), and gastric cancer (GC), according to their endoscopic and histopathological examinations. H. pylori infection was diagnosed by rapid urease test and histopathology. The expression levels of V2, V4, and V5 spliced variants of CD1d molecule were determined by quantitative Reverse Transcriptase PCR.
Results: Relative gene expression levels of V4 were higher in GC patients (n=37) than those in NUD (n=49) and PUD (n=51) groups (p<0.05 and p<0.01, respectively). Moreover, GC patients showed higher expression levels of V5 compared to NUD and PUD groups (p<0.001 and p<0.001, respectively). Positive correlation coefficients were attained between V4 and V5 expression in patients with PUD (r=0.734, p<0.0001) and GC (r=0.423, p<0.01), but not in patients with NUD. Among NUD patients, the expression levels of V4, but not V5, were higher in H. pylori-positive patients than in H. pylorinegative ones (p<0.01).
Conclusion: Collectively, both membrane-bound (V4) and soluble (V5) isoforms of CD1d were over-expressed in gastric tumor tissues, suggesting that they are involved in anti-tumor immune responses.- انتشار مقاله: 14-05-1395

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Schizophrenia is a disorder of the executive function of both sensory and central nervous system. Recent studies suggest that immune mechanisms play a role in the pathophysiology of this disease. The variations in cytokine concentrations have been associated with psychopathology and treatment of schizophrenia.
Objective: To investigate the changes in serum concentrations of TNF- α, IL-10, and IL-2 in schizophrenic patients before and 40 days after treatment.
Methods: In a case-control study, 26 schizophrenic patients and 26 healthy individuals were enrolled as the control group. PANSS scale questionnaire was used for diagnosis and assessing the severity of the disease. All patients were then treated with risperidone or clozapine for 40 days. Serum concentrations of TNF- α, IL-10 and IL-2 were measured by ELISA before and after treatment in both groups. Paired t-test and Independent t-test were used for comparison of data.
Results: Comparison of TNF-α and IL-10 concentrations in patients before and after treatment revealed a significance decrease of TNF- α and increase of IL-10 concentrations (p=0.002, and p=0.008, respectively). Serum concentrations of IL-2 were lower than the detection limit of assay and were not detectable. In comparison with healthy controls, serum concentrations of TNF- α in schizophrenic patients were higher, while IL-10 concentrations were lower before treatment although the differences were not significant (p=0.291 and p=0.375, respectively). There was no correlation between cytokine concentrations and the positive and negative scale (PANSS). Also no significant difference in the admission, relapses, and duration of illness before and after treatment was observed.
Conclusions: Increase of TNF- α and decrease of IL-10 may have an important role inpsychopathology of schizophrenia.- انتشار مقاله: 15-05-1395

- چکیده: در این مقاله، یک کلاس جدید از جوابهای مغناطیسی (n + 1) بعدی گرانش شبه توپولوژیک در حضور الکترودینامیک غیر خطی نمایی و لگاریتمی با یک یا چند پارامتر چرخش به دست می آوریم. برای این لایه چرخان بار خالص الکتریکی وجود دارد، زمانی که یک یا چند پارامتر چرخش غیر صفر است و همچنین این بار الکتریکی متناسب با مقدار پارامتر چرخش است. با این حال، زمانی که تمام پارامترهای چرخش صفر است (لایه ساکن)، میدان الکتریکی ناپدید می شود و لایه هیچ بار الکتریکی خالص ندارد. در این دسته جوابها، ما یک فضازمان با میدان مغناطیسی زاویه ای داریم. این جوابها بدون افق و بدون انحنای هستند، اما یک تکینگی مخروطی با یک کسری زاویه ای وجود دارد. علاوه بر این، این دو فرم نظریه الکترودینامیکی غیر خطی، رفتارهای مشابهی برای جوابهای به دست آمده دارند. در نهایت، ما از روش کانترترم استفاده می کنیم و مقادیر پایسته این فضا زمان را محاسبه می کنیم.
- چکیده انگلیسی: In this paper, we obtain a new class of $(n+1)$-dimensional magnetic brane solutions of quasi-topological gravity in the presence of exponential and logarithmic nonlinear electrodynamics by a spinning magnetic branes with one or more rotation parameters. For the spinning brane, the brane has a net electric charge, when one or more rotation are non zero, and also this electric charge is proportional to the magnitude of the rotation parameter. However, when all the rotation parameters are zero (static brane), the electric field vanishes and the brane has no net electric charge. In the class of solutions, we have a spacetime with an angular magnetic field. These solutions are horizonless and have no curvature, but there is a conic singularity with a deficit angle. In addition, these two forms of nonlinear electrodynamics theory, have the same behaviors for the obtained solutions. Finally, we use the counterterm method and compute conserved quantities of these spacetimes.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this paper, xCuO/CeO2–γAl2O3 nano-catalysts were successfully synthesized by precipitation from an aqueous solution which modified via ultrasonic waves. For characterization of xCuO/CeO2–γAl2O3 samples N2 adsorption results showed that the BET surface area of the CuO/CeO2–γAl2O3, X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive X-rays (EDX dot-mapping) were used. The BET, XRD and SEM results indicate that CuO/CeO2-γAl2O3 particles are nano-structured catalysts. These catalysts (xCuO/CeO2–γAl2O3) have high specific surface area and finer particle that confirm SEM pictures. xCuO/CeO2-γAl2O3 catalysts compared to other previous synthesised catalysts for selective CO oxidation. The activity and selectivity of these catalysts obtained in the presence of rich hydrogen stream, with space velocity of 30,000 h−1 in the absence of CO2 and H2O. Results show that CuO/CeO2–γAl2O3 catalyst represents high CO conversion in low temperature (less than 120 ◦C), and selectivity of more than 63% at 100 ◦C. Also, results show that decreasing of CeO2 amount decreases selectivity of CO oxidation.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Ethylbenzene (EB) dehydrogenation to styrene (SM) on an industrial scale is generally performed using classic and SMART (Styrene Monomer Advanced Reheat Technology) technologies. In the current study, spent catalysts structural changes through classic and SMART technologies were investigated and compared with the fresh catalyst. For this purpose, XRF, XRD, SEM-EDX, FT-IR, BET and crushing strength analysis were employed. It was found that styrene production via SMART technology with 40% potassium loss is led to more catalyst deactivation than the classic ones (26%). Due to pore mouth blocking by coke formation, the average pore radius in both classic and SMART spent catalysts is reduced about 33% and 53% compared to the fresh ones, respectively. SEM analysis showed that potassium migration mechanism is related to the temperature gradient in the classic spent catalysts and chemical vapour transportation in the SMART spent catalysts. Comparative evaluation of the catalysts performance indicated that the SMART spent catalyst with about 72% activity loss is more deactivated than the classic ones (61%).The large drop of styrene yield (72-74%) of SMART spent catalyst revealed that the activity is more depending on the pore mouth size, rather than the specific surface area. However, in situ steam injection redistributed migrated potassium and increased the selectivity of the classic spent catalyst, but it was led to more potassium migration and catalyst deactivation in the SMART spent ones. According to this study, styrene production and industrial unit design based on SMART technology not recommended strongly.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The aim of the present work was to investigate the ability of Cocopeat to remove of lead (II) from aqueous solutions. The effects of different parameters such as particle size, adsorbent dosage, pH, contact time, agitation speed and concentration on the removal process has been investigated. The maximum removal of lead ion (92.5%) took place in the pH range of 4 contact time in 30 minutes and initial concentration of 30 mg.L-1. Results indicated that the Langmuir model gave a better fit to the experimental data in comparison with the Freundlich equation. The process followed pseudo-second-order kinetics.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this paper, a new method for gray-scale image and color zooming algorithm based on their local information is offered. In the proposed method, the unknown values of the new pixels on the image are computed by Moving Least Square (MLS) approximation based on both the quadratic spline and Gaussian-type weight functions. The numerical results showed that this method is more preferable to bilinear interpolation in term of quality (for the quadratic spline weight function), and is comparable to bicubic interpolation (for the Gaussian-type weight function).

- چکیده انگلیسی: Pasteuria penetrans is a bacterial parasite of some plant parasite of nematodes whichcan attach to the cuticle of nematode. Differences in attachment of P. penetrans spores to the second stag juvenile (J2) cuticle may provide evidence for nematode cuticle diversity even between different ages of J2s. For investigating this purpose, we studied the effect of different ages of the same population of Meloidogyne chitwoodi second stage juveniles (J2) on the attachment of a specific P. penetrans spores. Each 200 freshly hatched, 7 and 12 day old J2 were exposed to 40000 spores of P. penetrans. The J2s-spores suspension were centrifuged and were examined with a microscope and attached spores were counted. There were significant differences (P<0.05) in spore attachment between fresh M. chitwoodi J2 and 12-day-old J2. Although there were no significant differences between spore attachment using fresh J2 and 7day-old J2, the numbers of spores attached to the 7-day-old J2 were lower than the numbers attaching to the fresh ones. From this study we can suggest that age of J2s can affect on spores attachment and this may help to have a successful management program

- چکیده انگلیسی: Existence of 2-methylpropane-2-thiol as an organosulfur and odorant compound in the soil could causes environmental problem and social dissatisfaction. In this study, remediation of this type of thiol using ultrasound is investigated. Central Composite Design (CCD) based on Response Surface Model (RSM) was used to obtain effects of the main factor (Power, sonication time and amount of water) and their interactions. Analysis of variance and Pareto analysis shows that all main factors are effective (the percentage effects of 43.30%, 30.35% and 9.62% on removal efficiency for power, sonication time and amount of water respectively). Moreover, interaction between water content and power, and sonication time and power are effective interaction (with P-values of 0.025 and 0.007 respectively). Base on experiment results and analysis of variance effects of the daylight is not significant (P-value=0.825). P-value of lack of fit (0.176) suggested model assessed as a good model and adequately fits data. Highest levels of power and sonication time (86 watt and 38 minute respectively) and water content in lower level (27 ml) in studied interval lead to maximum removal efficiency (82.83%).
