- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Because of approaches to learning in every place and at any time, ubiquitous learning with knowledge of the context and framework, and due to the development of wireless technologies and sensors, the learning process has changed. Mobile learning and ubiquitous learning as models of e-learning that refer to the acquisition of knowledge, attitudes and skills through wireless technologies. the purpose of the present research was to investigation two this technology.
Methods: this study was a Library research methods and note taking had been utilized.
Results: The effectiveness of e-learning and its new methods including mobile learning and ubiquitous learning are in need of attention to the approaches and theories of e-learning, because by employing e-learning methods, we can find solutions for teaching and learning that would meet the needs of today's education and training.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: The Modern Electronic Technologies have had a deep impact on traditional methods of education and brought forth new methods for effective education. Electronic portfolio is one of the newest methods of teaching. Therefore, the purpose of the present research was to study the impact of using e-portfolio on Nursing Students' Learning in Physiology Course.
Methods: The design of the study was a pre-test/post-test one with an experimental group and a control group. The population of the study included all Nursing students of Nursing Faculty of Malayer city in the academic year 2014-15. The sample of the study was selected using available sampling and included 30 students who were placed in an experimental group (n = 15) and a control group (n = 15). The instrument used in this study was a learning test of basic Physiology Course developed by the researcher himself; the face validity of the test was judged by experts of subject and the pre-test and post-test method showed that the reliability of the test is, respectively 0.78 & 0.81. In order to collect data, at first, Pre-test learning were taken from experimental and control groups. Then, the control group, educational content related to physiology course was instructed through traditional methods and experimental group, the same content were instructed through e-portfolio method (with Use google chrome) during one academic semester. Finally, Learning post-test were taken from both groups. The obtained data were analyzed through the SPSS software and an independent t-test used to analyze the data.
Results: The results of the study demonstrated that Using E-Portfolio method on increase in the amount of learning in nursing students of experimental group (t:10.38, P:.001).
Conclusions: According to the results and effectiveness in the use of electronic portfolio in the teaching-learning process in the physiology course, recommended the use of this electronic technology in nursing education and consequently medical education.- انتشار مقاله: 27-04-1394

- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction Development of new virtual technologies has evolved teaching-learning process. As for the technologies, it can be refered to the use of virtual social networks in education. The current study aimed at exploring the effect of using virtual social networks on nursing students’ English learning. Methods The current study employed pretest-posttest plan with control group. The research population consisted of all nursing students of Malayer nursing school, Malayer, Iran, in 2015-2016, among which 30 students were selected by available sampling method, and then, randomly assigned to the control and experimental groups. Instruments used in the research consisted of learning tests (pretest with 0.87 reliability and posttest with 0.89 via test-retest and confirmation of formal validity by English teachers as experts). Paired t test was employed to analyze data by SPSS version 18. Results The research findings showed that the learning level of students who learned English via virtual social networks was more than that of students who learned it traditionally (t = 14.30 and plusmn; 2.48, P = 0.001). Conclusions Given the effect of virtual social networks on nursing students’ English learning, it is recommended to use this teaching technique in the teaching-learning process of medical education.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction : The implementation of smart schools has significantly progressed in current times due to the execution of intelligent systems. School administrators are also seeking the implementation of smart schools so that they can improve their educational process efficiency. The purpose of this research was to design a system recommending smartening mechanisms for use at the current level, and provide recommendations for improving the quality of schools. Methods : This is a design science and survey research. The surveyed population consisted of experts in implementing smart schools in the country. Based on convenience accidental sampling method, 32 experts were elected. In this study, previous works on effective factors for the implementation of smart schools were reviewed and categorized. Using the e-learning maturity model and capability maturity model, some questions were prepared and accordingly, the decision tree was drawn in the identified areas. For proper assessment of performance of the recommender system, a QUIS-based questionnaire was developed and experts’ opinions were collected through it. For greater certainty and assessment of the face and content validity, the relevant opinions were used. The questionnaire’s reliability was calculated using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient (92%). Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 21 and descriptive statistics (mean and SD) as well as inferential statistics (Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Pearson correlation coefficient tests). Results : The results showed that this system had great potential for improving the implementation quality of smart schools such that the weighted average grades rose above the mean (3.95 to 4.187 of 5) in the assessment. Conclusions : With regard to the required training criteria, a model was presented and an expert system was designed to recommend mechanisms for implementing smart schools. Finally, this recommender system was evaluated.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction: Development of new technologies including multimedia in teaching has revolutionized the educational process. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of multimedia education on learning and retention in the physiology course for the students of anesthesiology at Hamadan University of Medical Sciences.Materials and Methods: In this study, the pretest-posttest design with a control group was used. The population of this study consisted of all students of Anesthesiology at Hamadan University of Medical Sciences, who were selected using convenience sampling method. The total sample size included 57 students in two classes of 29 and 28 students. The instruments used in this study were a pre-test with the reliability of 0.90, a post-test with the reliability of 0.88, a self-made retention test with the reliability of 0.88, and a self-made multi-media course with the reliability of 0.83. The face and content validity of all these instruments were approved by the experts. The independent T-test and the Levine test were used to analyze the collected data.Results: The findings showed that: 1) the students undergoing multimedia teaching were superior to those with traditional methods (Levin test = 0.968 and p < 0.001) 2) the retention rate of students who have been trained through multimedia techniques was higher than that of the students who underwent traditional methods (Levin test = 0.429 and p < 0.001).Conclusion: Due to the impact of multimedia on learning and retention of the students, it seems that this method is useful in medical universities

- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction: We aimed to determine the effect of concept mapping on the academic achievement self-regulation of high levels of learning physics among third-year high school students. Materials and Methods: In this study, the randomize cluster sampling method was used. The sample included all third-year high school students in Malayer. Of which 44 students were randomly assigned to two equal experimental and control groups. In the control group physic lesson was taught using the lecture method and in the experimental group the lesson was presented to students in the form of a concept map. The cognitive performance of the learners was measured through the achievement test and self-regulation was assessed with a learning strategies questionnaire with acceptable validity and reliability. SPSS software was used for data analysis. Results: We found that concept mapping significantly improved and enhanced the academic achievement and self-regulation of the students during the course. Conclusion: based on the present results, using concept mapping for teaching physics can have positive effects on academic achievement and self-regulation.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The objective of this study was to investigate whether or not the adverse effects of heat on sperm quality could be prevented by green tea extract (GTE) administration. Ninety adult male mice were randomly divided to two groups. The scrotum of each animal in the first group was immersed once for 20 min in a water bath maintained at 42 oC (heat group, H) and the second group (control group, C) was maintained at 23oC. Heat-treated and control groups were allocated randomly into three subgroups. The first subgroup from heat-treated mice was administered sterile saline (heat saline, HS) and the two other subgroups were administered orally with two different doses of GTE including 500 and 750 mg kg-1 (HG500 and HG750) for 49 consecutive days. Likewise, the first subgroup from control mice was administered sterile saline (control saline, CS) and the two other subgroups were administered orally with 500 and 750 mg kg-1 of GTE (CG500 and CG750), respectively. Heat stress significantly reduced (P < 0.05) sperm concentration, total sperm motility, progressive sperm motility and hypo-osmotic swelling-water test positive spermatozoa at the first 14 days after the heat treatment. However, a partial recovery was observed at the day 42, which was still significantly lower than that of the CS group. Administration of GTE in two doses (HG500 and HG750 treatment groups) following heat treatment could significantly recover adverse effects of heat on above-mentioned parameters during the first 28 days. The present study demonstrates that the adverse effects of hyperthermia on semen parameters might be recovered following administration of green tea extract in a short period of time.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction: The purpose of this study was to assess oral and dental health of hospitalized psychiatric patients.
Methods: This cross-sectional study which included 193 psychiatric patients was conducted in two psychiatric hospitals (Shahid Beheshti and Bahman) in Kerman, Iran. According to the duration of the hospital stay, patients were categorized into two groups of acute and chronic. The oral and dental health of the patients was assessed using Decay, Missing, Filling Teeth (DMF-T) index and Oral Assessment Guide for Psychiatric Care (OAG-PC). High score for these two scales indicated a worse oral and dental health.
Results: Mean (±SD) DMFT and OAG-PC scores of the patients were 19.74 (±7.88) and 20.77, respectively. Univariate analysis showed that patients in chronic group had higher OAG-PC (P = 0.014), but the difference of DMF-T scores was not statistically significant between the two groups (P = 0.57). After controlling confounding variables, the differences of the DMF-T and OAG-PC scores were not statistically significant between the two groups (P values of 0.88 and 0.64, respectively).
Conclusion: Oral and dental health in the studied psychiatric patients was poor. It is vital to improve the oral and dental health status of psychiatric patients.- انتشار مقاله: 18-02-1394

- چکیده انگلیسی: It seems that paying attention to social responsibility by companies can lead to a better stakeholder’s view toward the company, thereby increasing their loyalty and trust. Having the ability to obtain more financial resources in times of crisis, due to the greater loyalty of investors, will result in reducing the company risk. In contrast, being overconfident about the loyalty of individuals to the company can lead to keeping a short-term debt structure, thereby increasing the risk of obtaining financial resources. Recently, the negative impacts of petrochemical companies on the environment have made social and environmental groups focus more on this industry, and this focus has pushed companies into involving in more social activities. Considering the potential impact of CSR on the company’s risk, this study examines the relationship between corporate social responsibility and value at risk in petrochemical industry using a sample of 27 companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange during the 2010-2017 period. Eviews 10 is used for computing and analyzing the data, and the generalized auto regressive conditional heteroskedasticity (GARCH) model is employed to estimate value at risk. The results indicate a negative and statistically significant relationship between corporate social responsibilities and company value at risk.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this paper, a numerical solution for a system of linear Fredholm integro-differential equations by means of the sinc method is considered. This approximation reduces the system of integro-differential equations to an explicit system of algebraic equations. The exponential convergence rate $O(e^{-k sqrt{N}})$ of the method is proved. The analytical results are illustrated with numerical examples that exhibit the exponential convergence rate.
