Our result improves some recent works. Furthermore, a illustrative example and imagine domains of the linear combinations satisfying the desired conditions are enumerated.

- چکیده انگلیسی: A method for the simultaneous spectrophotometric determination of nickel, cobalt and copper based on the
formation of their complexes with 2-(2-Thiazolylazo)-p-Cresol (TAC) in micellar media of Triton X-100 is
proposed. The absorbance spectra were recorded in the range of 500 to 800 nm. The linear concentration
range for nickel, cobalt and copper in solution calibration sets were 0.05–1.80, 0.10–6.41 and 0.10–6.54
μg/ml, respectively. The effects of experimental parameters such as pH, time, concentration of ligand and
surfactant on the sensitivity of method were investigated. The data obtained from the experiments were
processed by the partial least squares (PLS), orthogonal signal correction-partial least squares (OSC-PLS)
and principle component-back propagation artificial neural network (PC-BPANN). A set of synthetic
mixtures of nickel, cobalt and copper was evaluated and the results obtained by each chemometric
approaches were compared with different testing methods. The OSC-PLS method was selected because
afforded better results than the others. The method was satisfactorily applied for determination of nickel,
cobalt and copper in alloy samples. The accuracy was determined using comparing the results to the

- چکیده انگلیسی: Partial least squares modeling as a powerful multivariate statistical tool was applied to
the simultaneous spectrophotometric determination of silicate and phosphate in aqueous
solutions. The concentration range for silicate and phosphate were 0.02-0.6 and 0.4-3 μg ml-1,
respectively. The experimental calibration set was composed with 30 sample solutions using a
mixture design for two component mixtures. The absorption spectra were recorded from 500 to
900 nm. The optimum conditions were obtained by simplex optimization method. The values of
root mean square error of prediction (RMSEP) for silicate and phosphate using partial least
squares (PLS) were 0.0017 and 0.02 μg ml-1, respectively. The effects of various cations and
anions on detection of silicate and phosphate were investigated. The method was successfully
used for determination of silicate and phosphate in boiler water at power plant, well water and

- چکیده انگلیسی: There are various methods for stabilizing excavations in urban areas which one of them is the nailing method. Designing a nailing system and analyzing the performance of excavations is done by various software applications. One of these computer programs is PAXIS software which run based on the finite element method (FEM). In the present study, a numerical analysis of the performance of the excavations was investigated under different soil model and the most appropriate model was introduced. In addition, the excavation performance was evaluated based on certain designing conditions affected by the soil resistance specifications (cohesion and internal friction angle) and surcharge. The results indicated that, using an appropriate behavioral model which contains increasing soil stiffness with depth, shows results close to reality. They also indicated that under certain designing conditions, the lateral deformation of the soil nail wall and ground settlement decrease as soil resistance specifications increase.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Speech acts shape the core of pragmatic competence and their mastery is a prerequisite for successful dis- course encounters in an L2. Cross-cultural comparisons, as claimed by Johnstone (2018), are very effec- tive for knowing and acquiring the speech acts. Accordingly, the purpose of this study was to compare a limited number of communicative routines in English and Persian within the framework of the Natural Semantic Metalanguage (NSM) developed by Wierzbicka (1991) and to examine if the words uttered by speakers at the surface level (exterior) would match their thoughts (interior) especially in such routines as compliment, request, and invitation patterns. The participants comprised 21 MA students studying Eng- lish language teaching. The data was obtained by a validated researcher-made questionnaire containing both structured and unstructured items and 10 scenarios on the basis of which the study participants pro- vided comments, appropriate expressions, and responses. For the English routines, the data was obtained from three English plays. The aforementioned communicative routines in Persian were described in terms of their NSM while the metalinguistic components for the English routines were adopted from Wierz- bicka (1991). The results indicated that the NSM provided rich insights into subliminal cross-cultural dif- ferences. Since this study makes use of simple cultural scripts (similar to circumlocution) to describe communicative routines in both English and Persian, learners can easily understand differences within the hidden cross-cultural bound interactions. Implications of the study suggest that both EFL teachers and learners can gain more profound insights about the cross-cultural sociopragmatic differences between English and Persian.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Orexin is produced exclusively in the lateral hypothalamus, where it is known to be involved in pain modulation through brain stem. Due to the important role of this peptide in functions such as eating, sleeping and awaking, addiction, it attracted the attention of researchers in medical sciences specially neuroscientists. These hypothalamic peptides play a critical role in arousal in stressful situations and in pain modulation. Moreover, orexin receptors (OXRs) have been found in many brain structures involved in pain processing. In the present study, the role of orexin in stress-induced analgesia is reviewed. Although, intracerebroventricular or spinal injection of orexin-A have been shown to elicit analgesic responses; however, the locations of central sites that may mediate these effects have not been clearly elucidated. On the other hand, it is unclear in which stressful situations the nociceptive information is altered. It seems that in stressful situations, orexin expression increases which increases arousal, and thus, leads to elevation of animal performance and nociceptive signals blockage, which improve performance in stressfulsituations. It is well-established that the acute and chronic forms of stress can affect the orexin system and might be responsible for changes in both pain threshold and nociceptive behaviors. It is suggested that OXR1 might be involved in antinociception behaviors induced by stress. This review highlights the significant role of OXR1 as a novel target for treatment of stress-related disorders.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease with multifactorial and complicated mechanisms. Elevated level of exhaled Nitric Oxide (NO) in asthma and other inflammatory lung diseases has led to many studies examining NO as a potential marker of airway inflammation.
Objective: This study was designed to determine the level of NO in Bronchoalveolar Lavage (BAL) fluid during early and late stages of asthmatic attack in mouse model.
Methods: In this study male BALB/c mice were used. The level of NO was determined in BAL fluid of asthmatic mice five minutes, six and sixteen hours after challenge with methacholine, as irritant and smoke and 5% ovalbumin as allergens, using colorimetric assay.
Results: The level of NO increased upon exposure to all three irritants used in this study (52.3 μM for smoke and 49.5 μ Mfor methacholine) as compared to 22.8 μM for the baseline. Our results showed that NO levels were increased during early phase of asthmatic condition and reached to its maximum level after six hours and decreased at the late stage of asthma (16hrs) possibly by activating a feedback regulatory loop. In addition, high level of NO led to the hypertrophy of smooth muscle that can account for the pathological changes associated with asthma.
Conclusion: Thus, NO is an inflammatory marker in asthma and its measurement, as a non-invasive method during asthmatic attack is suggested. A careful development of specific inhibitors for iNOS enzyme during asthmatic attack is also necessary.- انتشار مقاله: 15-05-1395

- چکیده: حرفه گرایی معلمان به مجموعه ی از توانایی ها ، صلاحیت های علمی و ویژگیهای اخلاق شغلی تعریف شده است که برای اثر بخش بودن در حرفه خود به آن ها احتیاج دارند. حرفهگرایی در آموزش زبان انگلیسی اهمیت زیادی دارد. بنابراین هدف از تحقیق حاضر بررسی ادراک معلمان زبان انگلیسی در ایران در چارچوب تعریف شده از توانش و کنش است. 281 نفر از معلمان شاغل در مقاطع متوسطه اول و دوم، موسسات آموزش زبان و دانشگاهها در این تحقیق شرکت کردند. داده ها از طریق پرسشنامه محقق ساخته جمع آوری شدند که در ابتدا شامل 44 آیتم بود. مدل سازی معادلات ساختاری برای ایجاد یک مدل سه بعدی مورد استفاده قرار گرفت که رویکرد ریچاردز پیشنهاد شده در (2010) را تایید می کند . مدل ساختاری سه عامل مهم (توانش، کنش و توانایی بکار گیری فن آوری آموزشی) را برجسته می سازد. یافته ها نشان داد که اکثریت شرکت کنندگان توانش کاربرد فن آوری آموزشی را مهمترین مولفه حرفه ای بودن به حساب آوردند، اکثر شرکت کنندگان مخالف بودند که تسلط بر زبان مقصد، جزء مهمی از حرفه گرایی است و توانش و کنش در آموزش زبان انگلیسی تا آندازه زیادی درهم آمیخته است. احتمالا بینش های به دست آمده از این مطالعه را میتوان برای ایجاد تحول در دوره های آموزش معلمان زبان دوم، دوره های آموزش معلمان و برنامه های ضمن خدمت قبل و بعد از ورود به خدمت بکار گرفت.
- چکیده انگلیسی: Professionalism has been generally linked to nations’ economic, industrial, and technological developments. Therefore, having a professionally and ethically competent workforce is a necessity in today's changing world. More specifically, L2 teacher professionalism plays a crucial role in economic development too. Given its utmost importance in language teaching, this study intended to investigate how Iranian English teachers would perceive professionalism defined in terms of competence and performance. The participants were comprised of 281 English teachers at junior and senior high schools, language institutes, and universities in Tehran, Fars, Khuzestan, and Qazvin Provinces. The data were obtained through a researcher-made questionnaire, initially consisting of 44 items. However, the final version contained 40 items since four problematic items were deleted. Structural equation modeling was used to develop a three-factor model which lends support to Richards’ perspective (2010) derived from his article “Competence and Performance in Language Teaching”. The model found three factors, namely competence, performance, and techno-pedagogical competence that matched the components of professionalism proposed by Richards mostly in theoretical terms. The findings indicated that most of the participants endorsed Richards’ perspective at least in theoretical terms. The insights from this study can be used to bridge the gap between competence and performance and improve teachers’ practice in the classroom context.
