- چکیده: ایـن مطالعـه یـک مطالعـه کاربردی اسـت که بـه منظور بررسـی و مقایسـه کارایی شـرکتهای برق منطقهای ایران با اسـتفاده از روشهای تحلیل پوششـی دادههای مرسـوم و شـبکیه انجام شـده اسـت. شـرکتهای بـرق منطقـهای ایـران از فرایند دو مرحلـهای بـرای انتقـال نیـرو اسـتفاده میکنند. با اسـتفاده از رویکـرد کاربردی، عملکـرد و کارایـی ایـن شـرکتها بـا روشهـای شـبکهای و مرسـوم اندازهگیری شـد و با یکدیگر مقایسـه شـد. (BCC ورودی-محور). مشـخص شـد که مدلهای شـبکه در مقایسـه بـا روشهـای دیگـر از آنجـا کـه تصویـر واضـح از کارایـی شـرکتهای بـرق منطقـهای را فراهـم میکنـد ،گسـتردهتر هسـتند. نتایـج آزمـون ویلکاکسـون نشـان میدهـد کـه بیـن نمـرات کارآیی شـرکتهای بـرق منطقهای ایـران بـا اسـتفاده ازروش BCC و روشهای شـبکه تفـاوت معناداری وجـود دارد و بررسـی کیفیـت تفـاوت نمـرات نیـز نشـان میدهد کـه کارایـی شـرکتها در مدل شـبکه پایینتـر از نمـرات کارایـی مدل BCC اسـت. به طور کلی، مدلهای شـبکه دارای کاربـرد بالاتـری نسـبت بـه ارائـه یـک تصویر واضـح از کارایی شـرکتهای بـرق منطقـهای و مقایسـه دقیقتر آنها هسـتند.
- چکیده انگلیسی: This study is an applied study conducted to evaluate and compare the efficiency of Iran's regional power companies using conventional and network Data Envelopment Analysis methods. Iran's regional power companies use two- phased process to transmit power. Using applied approach, the performance and efficiency of these companies were measured with network and conventional methods, and they were compared with each other (input-oriented BCC). It was indicated that network models have wider application compared with other method since it provides vivid picture of the efficiency of regional power companies. The Wilcoxon test result shows there is significant difference between efficiency scores of Iran's regional power companies using BCC and network methods, and investigation of the quality of difference of scores also indicate that efficiency of companies in the network model is lower than efficiency scores of BCC model. In general, network models have higher application than to provide a vivid picture of the efficiency of regional electricity companies and more accurate comparison of them.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The penicillin allergy is being increasingly recognized as a significant public health problem. Immunological responses to penicillin and other beta-lactam antibiotics are classified as immediate and non-immediate responses. This research aimed to develop an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the detection of the reactive antibody value against penicillin in various species of animals. The serum samples were collected from nine species (forty mature animals in each species) including horse, dog, goat, sheep, buffalo, cattle, donkey, chicken, and fish. The concentrations of total antibody and immunoglobulin M (IgM) against penicillin were detected using an in-house ELISA test. The total anti-penicillin antibodies concentration from high to low in animals was as chicken, horse, fish, donkey, dog, goat, sheep, buffalo, and cattle, respectively. In cattle and sheepthe level of anti-penicillin IgM (APM) was significantly higher than non-IgM antibodies (APNM); moreover, levels of APNM were very low in chicken and fish serums; no difference was seen regarding these values in buffalo and goat. The other species had significantly lower APM than the APNM. The ani-penicillin antibody levels in the noted animals were successfully detected using the developed ELISA. Most of the species have anti-penicillin antibodies; however, they have reactive antibodies with differences in levels and isotypes.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this article various pipes used for transporting of gas are introduced and pros and cons of each one are elucidated. The pipes are categorized in three different subgroups including metallic, polymeric and metallic-wire reinforced polymeric pipes. Metallic-wire reinforced polymeric pipes are nominated as the best option for usage in high pressure pipelines transporting natural gas. As a result, some information about major manufacturers of this kind of polymeric pipes, raw material, production process and metallic-wire orientation are presented. Finally, from economical point of view, some calculations are done to estimate required amount of polymer and metallic-wire to manufacture such pipes. It is also possible to compare their manufacturing cost with usual metallic and polymeric pipes.

- چکیده انگلیسی: An anionic Fe(II) complex, (BMIM)4[Fe(CN)6] (where BMIM is 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium), was synthesized in ionic liquid [BMIM][PF6] under reflux condition. The complex was characterized by elemental analysis and spectroscopic methods. The magnetite (Fe3O4) nanoparticles were prepared by the hydrothermal and solvothermal (in ionic liquid [BMIM][PF6]) methods from (BMIM)4[Fe(CN)6] as a precursor. The nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), FT-IR, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show that the preparation of magnetite using the solvothermal method in [BMIM][PF6] has more advantages such as smaller size and high purity.

- چکیده انگلیسی: BACKGROUND AND AIM: Although Rubber dam (RD) usage is one of the ideal and standard methods for isolating the teeth in several operative procedures of dentistry, General Dental Practitioners often neglect it. Many studies within several countries have reported various frequencies for RD application. There is no such study for Iran, so we conducted a study to report the frequency of its application and the effective factors. METHODS: This cross-sectional study carried out across the west part of Iran in 2013. A total of 525 general Dental Practitioners from the public and private sectors selected by stratified random sampling using a list from 3 big western cities of Iran. The data were collected using self-administrated checklist. RESULTS: The prevalence of RD application among General Dental Practitioner was 0.2% (confidence interval 95%: 0.196-0.204). RD instrument was existed in around 7% of cases. The main reason of the General Dental Practitioner to avoid RD application was supposing it is time-consuming procedure and causing patients stress (58.9%). CONCLUSION: Despite the advantages of RD application, its usage is not recognized as a routine, and common method of isolation during dental procedures even root canal therapy by Iranian General Dental Practitioners.

- چکیده: زمینه مطالعه: فعال کننده ترانس کلاس دو (CIITA) از عوامل تنظیم کننده رونوشت برداری است که بیان چندین ژن در سیستم ایمنی را کنترل می نماید. بیان CIITA میتواند به صورت دائمی در سلولهای عرضه کننده پادگن و یا به صورت القایی در دیگر سلولهای بدن باشد. در سالهای اخیر پیشرفتهایی در زمینه درک نقش این مولکول در انسان و موش حاصل شده است ولی در زمینه این ژن در سایر حیوانات از قبیل ماکیان اطلاعات منتشر شدهای وجود ندارد. هدف: هدف این مطالعه بررسی بیان ژن CIITA و مطالعه فیلوژنتیکی توالی آن است. مقایسه توالی ژن CIITA در طیور بومی ایران با توالی red jungle fowl به منظور مشخص نمودن تغییرات از دیگر اهداف است. روش کار: پس از اطمینان از صحت آزمایش و بهینه سازی واکنش، DNA و cDNA مربوط به ژن مورد نظر از چهار سویه ماکیان بومی ایران به دست آمد. نمونههای حاصل از PCR و RT-PCR پس از تعیین توالی توسط نرم افزارهای بیوانفورماتیک مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. نتایج: نتایج این تحقیق نشان دهنده بیان ژن CIITA در گلبولهای سفید خون و طحال ماکیان است. برخلاف اطلاعات موجود در پایگاههای اطلاعاتی ناحیه مورد بررسی فاقد اینترون می باشد. نتیجه گیری نهایی: قطعه بررسی شده در ماکیان همانند انسان و سایر حیوانات بسیار حفاظت شده است. بیان ژن CIITA در ماکیان بیانگر آن است که احتمالاً این پروتئین درپاسخ ایمنی ماکیان نیز همانند انسان و سایر حیوانات نقش دارد که لازم است در مطالعات آینده روشن شود.
- چکیده انگلیسی: BACKGROUND:Class II transactivator (CIITA) is a dominant
transcriptional element, controlling numerous genes in the
immune system. CIITA is expressed in a constitutive pattern in
antigen presenting cells although its expression can occur in
other cell types. Since the revelation of CIITA, there have been
considerable advances toward understanding its role as an
activator of MHC II genes in humans and mice; nonetheless,
there is a lack of published data for this gene in other animals such
as chickens. OBJECTIVES: The goals of this study were to
determine the expression of class II transactivator (CIITA) in
chicken and analysis of the CIITA gene sequence between four
Iranian indigenous chicken ecotypes. METHODS:After securing
the research accuracy and optimization of reaction conditions,
cDNA and DNA samples of gene were obtained from four
Iranian indigenous chicken ecotypes. The PCR and RT-PCR
products were sequenced and the data were analyzed by
bioinformatics software. RESULTS: Comparison of the
sequencing results with the reference sequence of the red jungle
fowl revealed that these sequences belonged to the predicted
CIITA gene. There was a high conservation rate in the sequence
of CIITA. CONCLUSIONS: Our results indicated that like other
species, CIITA is transcripted in chickens' immune system cells.
Further studies on chickens must be done to reveal CIITAroles in

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: This study evaluated the effects of the maternal immune system stimulation or suppression during the pregnancy on the development of the neonate’s immune system.
Methods: A total of 20 female rats were divided into four groups. The groups were treated using Leishmania major, Salmonella typhimurium, Tacrolimus, and sterilized normal saline. The animals were mated after 3-time treatments. The neonate’s humoral immune response, total body, thymus, liver, spleen weight, and histology were determined in this study.
Results: The spleen’s mean weight of the two-month-old samples showed a significant reduction in the Salmonella group; in addition, the Tacrolimus group had a significant reduction in liver mean weight. The Salmonella and Tacrolimus groups showed a significant reduction (P≤0.05) in the anti-sheep red blood cells antibody titer.
Conclusion: Stimulation or suppression of the immune responses during the pregnancy has significant effects on the neonate’s immune responses, spleen, liver, and thymus development.- انتشار مقاله: 10-04-1398

- چکیده انگلیسی: This study presents a robust and rigorous method based on intelligent models, namely radial basis function networks optimized by particle swarm optimization (PSO-RBF), multilayer perceptron neural networks (MLP-NNs), and adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system optimized by particle swarm optimization methods (PSO-ANFIS), for predicting the equilibrium and kinetics of the adsorption of sulfur and nitrogen containing compounds from a liquid hydrocarbon model fuel on mesoporous materials. All the models were evaluated by the statistical and graphical methods. The predictions of the models were also compared with different kinetics and equilibrium models. The results showed that although all the models lead to accurate results, the PSO-ANFIS model represented the most reliable and dependable predictions with the correlation coefficient (R2) of 0.99992 and average absolute relative deviation (AARD) of 0.039%. The developed models are also able to predict the experimental data with better precision and reliability compared to literature models.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this research, the effects of important parameters, including the molar ratio of acetic acid to sulfur(S) , sonication time, temperature, and hydrogen the molar ratio of peroxide to sulfur on the performance of ultrasound-assisted oxidative desulfurization were studied using the response surface method (RSM). To this end, a model fuel containing n-decane and dibenzothiophene at a concentration of 1000 ppm was used. It was found out that the temperature and acetic acid/S molar ratio were the most influencing parameters affecting the conversion of sulfur compound. The synergistic effects of the parameters were also investigated, and it was discovered that the maximum conversion of dibenzothiophene reached 98.59% when H2O2/S, acetic acid/S, temperature, and sonication time were set to 167, 330, 80 °C, and 30 min respectively. Finally, the apparent kinetics of dibenzothiophene oxidation and the activation energy of reaction were presented.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The present study is about the reduction of humic acids (HA) by electrocoagulation (EC) method. Undesirable color, odor, taste, reacting with chlorine to produce toxic materials in water, and making a complex with heavy metal ions are some unfavorable environmental consequences of HA. Platinum and graphite as anode electrodes and platinum, titanium, and aluminum as cathode electrodes were used for this purpose. Also, solutions consisting of sodium sulfate (Na2SO4), as the electrolyte support, and humic acids at a concentration of 30 mg.l-1 were used in the reduction tests. We investigated the best condition for pollutant removal at pH values of 3, 5, and 7 and voltages of 5, 10, and 18. The samples were taken during the electrolysis and were analyzed by the pH meter and UV-visible spectrophotometer. Moreover, the oxidation phenomena on anodes surface were studied by cyclic voltammetry tests. The results confirm that the Gr/Al electrodes by coagulation phenomena shows the best performance in the elimination of HA at an electrolyte support concentration of 0.02 molar after approximately 23 min at a pH of 7 and a voltage equal to 10 V.
