- چکیده انگلیسی: In a restructured power system, generation maintenance scheduling makes a significant effect on the operation and planning of the power system. Optimal maintenance schedule would improve power system reliability; as it can reduce unplanned outages and avoid high costs of production losses. Moreover, planned outages may be cut down by avoiding unnecessary maintenance activities. Therefore, it is crucial to study approaches for the generation maintenance schedule. In this paper, a novel approach for the long-term generation maintenance scheduling is proposed which mainly focuses on the ISO’s perspective. The approach benefits from the reliability centered maintenance concept by employing criticality indices in the scheduling model. Besides, it founded on new-defined maintenance proposals which would be submitted by generation companies and would make the model more realistic. The coordination between maintenance scheduling and security-constrained unit commitment problem is considered in this study. The model is solved by a mixed integer and real coded genetic algorithm which is combined with a quadratic programming solver. For systematic analysis, the IEEE 30-Bus is employed and the results are presented which emphasize the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed approach.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Given the importance of the power system security and the role of the operator in enhancing this feature, improving the operator’s actions and information in the power system management is critical. The proper tools and available information for the operator can continuously improve the power system security. During power system operation, the operator needs to identify probable hazardous contingencies to assess power network security online. Thus, contingency ranking based on their importance has always been of interest to researchers. In present study, a new method is proposed for appropriate contingency ranking and online power network security assessment based on the Phasor Measurement unit (PMU) data. In the proposed method, unlike the previous methods, two voltage and angle indices were used. Since the variables of load-flow studies are used to calculate the proposed index, this index can provide a comprehensive assessment of the network security. The proposed index is implemented on three IEEE 14-, 30- and 57-bus test systems to evaluate its performance. First, using this index, contingency analysis is carried out in 2000 operational points and the obtained results are compared with a randomly selected operating point. The results indicated the performance and response time of the proposed index.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Today, traditional networks are changing to active grids due to the burgeoning growth of distributed energy
resources (DER), which demands scrupulous attention to technical infrastructures, as well as economic aspects. Providing energy services and spinning reserve in the market is one the features of this issue. In this
study, from economic point of view, the aggregation of DERs in a distribution network to participate in joint energy
and reserve markets is investigated. This approach, which is predicated upon price-based unit commitment method,
has considered virtually all the technical data in the proposed model. It is worth to mention that uncertainties of loads
market prices, as an inherent characteristic of the electricity markets, are treated in this study, and their effect on
the operation of virtual power plants in energy and reserve markets has been thoroughly discussed. The innovation of this paper is to consider the uncertainty in connection between the virtual power plant and the upstream network, along with the mentioned uncertainties.
To this end, in this paper, a 4-bus network is considered as a virtual power plant in which the condition of optimal operation of distributed generations, energy storage systems and removable load considering uncertainty in energy price and connection with upstream network and also, uncertainty in delivery of spinning reserve have been studied to maximize the profit of virtual power plant. Simulation has been carried out in MATLAB environment using teaching-learning based optimization algorithm (TLBO) for 24 hours on the proposed network.- انتشار مقاله: 31-01-1397
