- چکیده انگلیسی: In the simulation models of water resource systems, calibration processes should be performed to approximate the simulated values to the observed values due to the errors in such models. However, due to being time consuming and the difficulties associated with manual calibration, an automatic calibration model can be a resolver. In this research, the simulation of Jareh Dam and network system was conducted using the WEAP model. Then, by linking this model to the NSGA-II algorithm, its automatic calibration was performed by this algorithm. Nach statistical parameter was used to check the calibration accuracy of the model. The whole system was in the form of a multi-objective NSGA-II algorithm, in which the first objective function, which was to minimize the difference between the observed and the calculated reservoir storage volumes, was assessed versus the second objective function, which was to minimize the difference in the calculated and the simulated discharges, at two Mashin and Jokank stations. The results showed the remarkable ability of NSGA-II algorithm for automatic model calibration, so that the operation status of the dam and river was of the greatest consistency with reality.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is attributed as one of the most common malignancies worldwide. CD133 molecule, as a pentaspan transmembrane glycoprotein, confers stem cell-related characteristics, including self-renewal and multi-directional differentiation capability. CD133 plays important roles in the progression of CRC by conferring apoptotic resistance and migration ability. Objective: To investigate the anti-apoptotic and anti-angiogenic effect of CD-133 targeted siRNA in a colorectal cancer cell line. Methods: In this study, CD133-targeted siRNA transfection was conducted into HT-29 cells. MTT assay was employed to evaluate the cytotoxic effects of transfection on the cells. Flow cytometry was used to evaluate the apoptosis rate. The mRNA expression of apoptosis and metastasis related genes were assessed by quantitative Real-Time PCR (qRT-PCR). Wound healing assay was used to assess the migration potency of the infected cells. Results: Expression of CD133 was significantly downregulated after transfection of CD133-specific siRNA. Moreover, the rate of apoptosis was significantly increased after transfection. The migration potential of cells was diminished after transfection. siRNA delivery resulted in the modulation of expression of apoptosis and metastasis-related genes. Conclusion: siRNA mediated targeting of CD133 could be considered as a promising approach to treat CRC through suppressing the cancerous behavior of tumor cells.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Caspases proteins are protease enzymes involved in the initiation and execution of apoptosis process.
Regulation of apoptosis process plays an important role in the normal biological events and development. In addition
to developmental abnormalities, dysregulated apoptosis system may lead to tumorigenesis, autoimmunity, and other
serious health problems. Aberrant regulation of apoptosis may also be the paramount cause of chemoresistance during
cancer therapy. It is aimed through this study to evaluate the transcript levels of Caspase 3, 8, and 9 in tumoral tissues
from patients with colorectal cancer (CRC) and compare it with normal marginal tissues. Methods: Fifty tumor tissues
and their matched marginal tissues, as control group, were obtained from CRC patients. Total mRNA of all tissue
samples was extracted and cDNA was synthesized. Using SYBR Green PCR master mix and Real-time gene expression
technique, the transcript level of target genes was quantified. Results: Experiments indicated that mRNA expressions
of caspase 9 and 3 were downregulated in tumoral tissues from CRC patients in comparison to marginal tissues. In
contrast, tumoral tissues expressed mRNA of caspase 8 higher than normal marginal tissues. Modified transcript levels
of caspase 3, 8, and 9 were correlated with the clinical manifestations of the patients. Conclusions: Alteration in the
