- چکیده انگلیسی: Background and purpose: Despite the high prevalence of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, There haven,t been definite curative treatment for the disease and focus of treatment has directed towards pulmonary rehabilitation as an effective non-drug treatments. this study were performed to determine the effect of motivational abdominal breathing device on breathing pattern and dyspnea of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Materials and methods: This study is a clinical trial done in 2015 on 70 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease admitted to Samen alaeme hospital, CHENARAN city. Patients were assigned to two groups of 35 persons, Intervention and control. groups did exercises at home twice a day for two weeks. The dyspnea, respiratory rate and depth of breathing, before, seventh day and after the intervention was measured by spirometry and dyspnea NRS scale. Data analysis was performed by SPSS version 11.5 using t-test, Mann-Whitney and repeated measures analysis.
Results: The results showed that difference in respiratory rate before and after intervention (P=0/78) did not change significantly between two groups. But difference before and after the intervention, depth of breathing and before and after intervention of dyspnea were significantly changed in both groups (P<0/001).
Implications for Practice: The results of this study showed that motivational abdominal breathing device has a more positive effect than the abdominal breathing normally on respiratory status and thus can be used as effective rehabilitation techniques.- انتشار مقاله: 02-09-1395

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Gardner’s Multiple-Intelligences profile can serve as a powerful instrument for assessment of learners' abilities and aptitudes. The present study aimed to obtain the Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences profile of students of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences (TUOMS) in the academic year 2014-2015 and examine its relationship with their academic performance.
Methods: This cross-sectional descriptive-correlational study was conducted on medical, nursing and midwifery students of TUOMS in the academic year 2014-2015. Data was collected by administering Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences Developmental Assessment Scales to 150 subjects selected by non-probability convenience sampling. Academic performance of students was evaluated by their average grades. Data was analyzed by SPSS19 using multiple regression.
Results: Medical students scored highest in existential intelligence (18.42 ± 4.67) and intrapersonal intelligence (16.74 ± 4.15) and scored lowest in musical intelligence (12.54 ± 3.99) and bodily intelligence (13.66 ± 4.46). Regression analysis showed that verbal intelligence (P= 0.004, β = 0.392) and existential intelligence (P= 0.014, β = -0.327) were the only Gardner intelligence components that can explain the students' academic performance with statistical significance.
Conclusion: The results showed that among Gardner’s Multiple-Intelligences, existential, intrapersonal, interpersonal, and verbal intelligence contribute the most to the selection of medical sciences as the path of education, and that verbal intelligence is associated with academic success. The results of this study can be employed as an applied knowledge to improve the quality of education counseling to be provided for future medical students.- انتشار مقاله: 29-04-1396

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: The emergence and use of e-learning in education have been one of the most important achievements of higher education which can solve many of the problems of this system, and addressing the challenges of e-learning are one of the concerns and problems of our society. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to explore the students’ experience of e-learning challenges at the Virtual School of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences (SUMS). Method: The research design was qualitative with the phenomenological method. Potential participants included students from Virtual School of SUMS. 10 students were selected using a purposive sampling method with a standard technique. The data collection method consisted of a semi-structured interview. After coding the data using thematic analysis method, basic, organizing, and inclusive themes were extracted. Results: Results classified the challenges of e-learning at the Virtual School of SUMS into six general categories which are as follows: 13 educational challenges, including the extensive amount of context in the courses as well as a large number of modules, disregarding the educational prerequisites of the field, failure of professors to accompany students at the early stages of the projects, etc.; 10 organizational challenges including non-diversification of e-learning courses, high availability of online academic staff due to lack of e-learning experience, 9 ethical challenges such as lack of appropriate culture for applying this discipline, negative perception towards e-learning, 8 technical challenges including low speed of internet, shortage of physical spaces in e-learning, 5 supportive challenges such as lack of facilities, lack of permission to use the university canteen, 5 evaluation challenges such as mandatory in-person exams in e-learning courses, not allocating a reasonable proportion of the final mark to in-person exams, 3 managerial challenges such as inefficiency of the educational content, rejection of students by the head of virtual faculty due to lack of time and lastly, 2 communicational challenges such as lack of interaction with academic staff and classmates as well as lack of face-to-face communication. Conclusion: Understanding the challenges and obstacles of establishing e-learning in Iran's higher education and providing practical solutions for them, developing this type of education and, as a result, the excellence of Iran's educational system.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Virtual mobility, as one of the emerging phenomena in the internationalization of higher education, is a process that all activities within it are done electronically or digitally. It is used, among others, to facilitate physical activities, such as student exchanges, with the help of information and communication technologies. Objectives: The current study aimed at the identification of effective strategies in facilitating virtual mobility. Methods: In order to achieve the objectives of the study, a qualitative approach and a phenomenological research method were used. The statistical population included all the experts experienced in the area of internationalization from the top five comprehensive and public universities in Iran, including the University of Tehran, Shahid Beheshti University, Tarbiat Modares University, Mashhad Ferdowsi University, and Shiraz University. The participants included 27 experts with international experience purposefully selected from the five universities and their comments were collected using semi-structured interviews to achieve the theoretical saturation of data. The content analysis of the data was done using MAXQDA version 2018 software. Results: Seventeen minor components were identified as effective strategies in facilitating virtual mobility in higher education. The main effective strategies in facilitating virtual mobility were organized in four major themes, including promoting university websites, promoting social networks, improving virtual infrastructure, and strengthening virtual branding. Conclusions: The results of the study showed that among the components, promoting university websites and promoting social networks were the most important factors highlighted by the experts as the factors that could facilitate the process of virtual mobility as an area in which more must be invested.

- چکیده انگلیسی: One of the governmental research organizations is Research and Technology Organization (RTO), whose primary is to harness science and technology in the service of innovation or public bodies and industry, to improve the quality of life and build economic competitiveness. Despite the importance and role of research and technology organizations in the innovation system, previous studies have not addressed the concept of technology development projects' effectiveness implemented in RTOs.
This study attempts to investigate this concept from two aspects: "the concept of effectiveness in research projects" and "the concept of effectiveness in RTOs" to define this concept in a research and technology organization (RIPI). To evaluate and implement the proposed framework, eight technology development projects are studied at the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry. - چکیده انگلیسی: In this study, using the non-local elasticity theory, the buckling and vibration analysis of triple- walled ZnO piezoelectric Timoshenko beam on elastic Pasternak foundation is analytically investigated under magneto-electro-thermo-mechanical loadings. Using the Timoshenko beam free body diagram, the equilibrium equation of Timoshenko nano-beam model is obtained and solved by Navier’s method for a simply-supported nano-beam. The surrounding elastic mediums are simulated by Winkler and Pasternak models and interlayer forces are considered by Lenard-Jones potential. The effects of various parameters including the elastic medium, small scale, length, thickness, van der Waals force on the critical buckling load and non-dimensional natural frequency of triple- walled ZnO nano-beam are investigated. The results of this study show that the critical buckling load reduces with increasing the temperature change, direct electric field, magnetic field, and length of nanotube, and vice versa for the thickness of nanotubes, and two parameters elastic foundations. Also, the non-local critical buckling load and non-dimensional natural frequency of Timoshenko nano-beam are smaller than the local critical buckling load and non-dimensional natural frequency. The results can be useful for designing the smart nano-beam for MEMS and NEMS.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this research, the buckling and bending behaviour of smart nanocomposite plate reinforced by single- walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) under electro-magneto-mechanical loadings is studied. The extended mixture rule approach is used to determine the elastic properties of nanocomposite plate. Equilibrium equations of smart nanocomposite plate are derived using the Hamilton’s principle based on the classical plate theory (CPT). The nonlocal critical biaxial buckling load and the nonlocal deflection of smart nanocomposite plate are obtained by applying the Eringen’s theory and Navier’s method. In this article, the influences of applied voltage, magnetic field, aspect ratios, nonlocal parameter, and elastic foundation coefficients on the critical buckling load and deflection of smart nanocomposite plate are investigated. The nonlocal critical biaxial buckling load of smart nanocomposite plate increases with the increase in applied voltage and magnetic field intensity. The nonlocal deflection of smart nanocomposite plate decreases with an increase in the magnetic field intensity. Also, the stability of smart nanocomposite plate increases in the presence of elastic foundation.

- چکیده انگلیسی: This study investigated the effects of rehabilitation of sidewalks on improvement of the pedestrians’ mobility. In order to successfully achieve this, sidewalk characteristics were determined via previous studies, expert elicitation and field studies and seven parameters which are available in Tehran’s sidewalks were chosen. These seven parameters were “Side trees of sidewalks”, “Width of sidewalks”, “Type of sidewalks”, “Side buildings of sidewalks”, “Lighting of sidewalks”, “Side facilities of sidewalks” and “Sidewalks' pavement conditions”. Next, four pedestrians sidewalk were randomly chosen. Using AHP method and Collected questionnaires the four sidewalks were prioritized. Sensitivity analysis was applied to find the effects of each of the seven parameters. Considering the results, the effective parameters of each sidewalk were respectively rehabilitated by Photoshop CS3 software and the process of prioritizing was repeated. According to the obtained results, it is not necessary to improve all parameters of a sidewalk to achieve a suitable and attractive sidewalk. An attractive sidewalk will be able to achieve only by improving some certain parameters of sidewalks. The procedure used in this study will lead to save money and time in urban designs and city developments.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Given the complexities of supply chain networks, the firms consider modern technologies as a potential factor to improve their supply chain performances. One of these technologies is the Internet of Things (IoT). Hence, the main purpose of this study has been to achieve the conceptual model of the IoT implementation in hospital supply chains. Considering the qualitative nature of the study, relevant articles were specified through library research and collecting the related literature. The outputs obtained were analyzed using the meta-synthesis method and the grounded theory. Then the selected articles were extracted and the grounded theory was used to obtain the conceptual model of the IoT implementation in hospital supply chains. The research results indicated that the model featured 7 main categories, 19 subcategories and 86 codes. The results present a conceptual model for the implementation of the IoT in hospital supply chains including an explanation of the main research category, drivers, prerequisites and enablers, environmental and contextual conditions, challenges, technology implementation strategies, and results and outcomes.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction: Hospitals should provide necessary conditions for the renewal of knowledge, skill and attitude through unlearning. Thus, the present study aimed to determine the relationship between antecedents and processes of unlearning and organizational innovation among the teaching hospitals of Hamedan.Methods: This is a descriptive correlational study. The statistical population of the study included 1352 health personnel in four teaching hospitals of Hamedan. To select the administrative personnel, we used the total population; also, for physicians, and for the health personnel we used purposeful voluntary sampling and stratified random sampling, respectively. Based on the methods, 431 were selected as the subjects. Research instruments were unlearning researcher-made questionnaire and innovation scale. Data were analyzed through multivariate regression analysis and structural equation model using SPSS19 and LISREL 8.54 software.Results: The results indicated that organizational support and training, frequency of changes, and predictability of changes were the positive and significant predictors of the product, process and administrative dimensions. The group crisis was the negative and significant predictor of the product and administrative dimensions. Organizational memory was the positive and significant predictor of the administrative dimension. Individual processes, group processes, and organizational processes were the positive and significant predictors of organizational innovation.Conclusion: Based on the effective role of organizational support and training, organizational memory and frequency of changes and predictability of changes on innovation in teaching hospitals, it is suggested that the administrators and authorities of the hospitals should accept new opinions of their personnel.Keywords: Unlearning, Teaching hospitals, Organizational innovation, Health personnel
