- چکیده انگلیسی: An environmentally benign procedure for the synthesis of vicinal nitrohydrins via the regioselective ring opening reaction of epoxides with nitrite anion using silica-bound 3-{2-[poly(ethylene glycol)]ethyl}-substituted 1-methyl-1H-imidazol-3-ium bromide as an effective heterogeneous phase transfer catalyst was described. Short reaction time, high yield of products, simple work-up procedure, and recyclability of the catalyst were some of the striking features of the present protocol. The recovered catalyst could be reused five times without any loss in its catalytic activity and selectivity.

- چکیده انگلیسی: An efficient and eco-friendly procedure for the synthesis of 1-amidoalkyl-2-naphthols by the one-pot three-component reaction of various aldehydes, 2-naphthol and acetamide catalyzed by nano-graphene oxide under solvent-free conditions has been described. The presented method has several advantages such as high yields, easy purification, mild reaction conditions, easy work-up, survival of different functional groups, and short reaction times. Moreover, nano-graphene oxide is an easily synthesized, cheap, air and moisture stable, heterogeneous and green catalyst.The catalyst could simply be separated and recovered from the reaction mixture and reused in subsequent reactions without significant loss in activity.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Polyethylene glycol-bis (N-methylimidazolium) dihydroxide, [PEG(mim)2][OH]2, was prepared from the reaction of polyethylene glycol-bis (N-methylimidazolium) dibromide and sodium hydroxide in aqueous media at ambient temperature. The obtained solid was used as a novel, green, recyclable and efficient basic phase-transfer catalyst in the synthesis of 2-amino-3-cyano-4H-pyrans via the one-pot three-component condensation reaction of aromatic aldehydes, malononitrile and 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds in water at room temperature. The reactions without any basic reactants and in the presence of trace amounts of the catalyst gave the corresponding products with high yields in short reaction times. The phase-transfer catalyst could be successfully reused without the significant decrease in its activity.

- چکیده انگلیسی: A basic phase-transfer catalyst ([PEG(mim)2][OH]2) was prepared from the reaction of polyethylene glycol-bis(N-methylimidazolium) dibromide and sodium hydroxide dissolved in water at ambient temperature. The obtained white solid was used as an efficient basic phase-transfer catalyst in Knoevenagel condensation reactions between aromatic aldehydes and active methylene compounds in water at room temperature. The reaction is done without side products and in the presence of trace amounts of the catalyst gives the corresponding products with high yields. The phase-transfer catalyst could be successfully reused without significant decrease in its activity for at least five cycles.
