- چکیده انگلیسی: Context: This systematic review summarizes evidence that pertains to factors associated with physical domestic violence in Eastern Mediterranean region countries. Evidence Acquisition: We searched Pubmed, EMBASE, ISI, PsycInfo, IMEMR, Ovid, Global health, Cochrane Library, IranMedex, SID, IranDoc, Science Direct, Elsevier, Proquest and Magiran with no language limits until August 1, 2013. A hand search included lists of references from papers and the evidence list from "The Islamic Republic of Iran National Agenda for Preventing Domestic Violence". We chose quantitative studies on ever- partnered, non-pregnant women from Eastern Mediterranean Region countries that referred to either predisposing or protective factors of physical domestic violence at the victims' level. Criteria based critical appraisal was performed by three reviewers. Results: Younger age at the time of the study, younger age at the time of marriage, unemployment, frailty, history of exposure to domestic violence, and a positive attitude toward male dominance were among the risk factors. Higher level of education was reported to be a protective factor. Conclusions: Findings are consistent with most international evidences. Further investigations are needed to more comprehensively understand the remainder of the variables.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background
Due to the increased survival of children with chronic and complex diseases, transferring a part of care provision to home and harnessing the family’s potential with the aim of shortening the length of stay and returning the child to the safe and familiar atmosphere of the family can affect the health system and the family. This study aimed to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of home-based palliative care for children with complex health care needs based on the literature review.
Materials and Methods: After selecting the keywords related to the research question, by examining MeSH, EMTREE and the experts’ opinions mentioned in articles, searching the databases PubMed/Medline, EMBASE, Scopus and Web of Science was done through a combination of them.
Results: Finally, 11 studies met the inclusion criteria, which were investigated in three groups of methodological features, economic outcomes and indirect outcomes. The reviewed studies were of medium to high quality. Eight were cohort studies, one pre-post study, and 2 economic evaluation studies. Studiesshowed that the decrease in the costs of home-based palliative care for the children in need of special health care, although little, was the result of either reduced hospital stay or the decreased number of hospitalizations.
Conclusion
In order to set up pediatric palliative care services in Iran, considering the cultural atmosphere and the limited resources of the health system, attention should be paid to the cost effectiveness of care settings and the provided services, and measures should be taken in order to improve the situation of the children with special care needs, based on social conditions.- انتشار مقاله: 29-10-1398

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Diabetes is a stressful condition, which affects identity and psychosocial dimensions in adolescent then they need to be adapted. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of spiritual care on adolescents' adjustment with Type 1 diabetes.
Materials and Methods: This randomized controlled clinical trial study was performed on 52 adolescents with Type 1 diabetes mellitus members of Sanandaj Diabetes Association (Sannadaj city, Kurdistan province, Iran), who were selected through convenience sampling and randomly divided into two groups (26 in each group). Spiritual care in the intervention group was performed in group form and daily for 6 sessions. Data were collected using "Baseline Characteristics Questionnaire", and "Lazarus and Folkman Coping Strategies Questionnaire" before and after the intervention and three weeks later. Data were analyzed using SPSS software version 19.0.
Results: Chi-square test indicated the difference between the groups according to the level of education (p=0.048). Therefore, the effect of this variable was moderated. The mean of overall adjustment score in control group before and after providing intervention in the intervention group and during the follow-up period was 94.92±13.04, 90.12±10.96, and 92.08±13.34, respectively. The mean of overall adjustment scores in the intervention group before and after intervention and during the follow-up period were 104.08±23.35, 112.46±17.09, and 117.35±16.05, respectively; also t-test result showed a significant effect of intervention type (p<0.001).
Conclusion
The results indicate the positive effect of spiritual care on adolescents' adjustment with Type 1 diabetes after the intervention and three weeks later in intervention group, but the increase of adjustment was not rational reasonable in control group.- انتشار مقاله: 10-07-1397

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background
Death of a child with cancer is one of the most painful events that results in traumatic reactions of bereavement. Care should be taken into account during the bereavement period. The present study aimed to develop bereavement care in Iran and comparing it with Jordan, England, Australia and Canada, which have achieved the desired situation in the above area.
Materials and Methods
In this comparative study, the necessary data was made to databases of reputable and sovereign centers of the countries and palliative care programs. After accessing the pioneering patterns of world-wide palliative care, Iran's palliative care program, which came from children's service centers and access to the databases of those centers, was also examined.
Results
In the developed countries of Canada, England and Australia, a wide range of bereavement care is provided in care facilities. for example following the death of a child, in Canada family members are covered by all the bereavement care, in Australia formal caregivers increase their relationship with parents and are available to listen to feelings and in England all family members are supported. Jordan provides significant services in this regard such as visits at the bereavement ceremony, however, it is provided limitedly only in one center in Iran.
Conclusion
In the developed countries, pediatric palliative care is well developed. But in some developing countries, including Iran, there are only a few of these services for dying children and their families. As a result, the traumatic results emerge in social and family life activities.- انتشار مقاله: 09-08-1396

- چکیده:
- چکیده انگلیسی: Purpose: Satisfaction is the result of a process; to assess satisfaction, the care recipients’ experiences of the services received should be understood and efforts should be made to understand how these experiences have formed that satisfaction. The purpose was to understand the processes of satisfaction with nursing care in parents of hospitalized children.
Methods: The present grounded theory study was conducted on 25 participants selected through theoretical sampling and examined using in-depth semi-structured interviews. Interviews where promptly transcribed after they each ended. The data obtained were analyzed concurrently with their collection based on Strauss and Corbin’s method of data analysis (1998) in three steps: open, axial and selective coding.
Results: The main concern of the parents in the process of satisfaction with nursing care was the “influence of insecurity”. The parents were put in an unstable context of care, upon which they resorted to the “prudent gaining of certainty” strategy. In this process, intrapersonal and extra personal triggers acted as facilitators and personal weaknesses as inhibitors, and “fluctuating trust” was the result of the process.
Conclusions: Gaining certainty plays an important role in the formation of satisfaction with nursing care, and the particular characteristics of the context of care have a crucial effect on the intensity or weakness of the developed trust; eventually, the developed certainty results in trust in the received care, which further emphasizes the importance of nurses' efforts for facilitating an ascertaining care.- انتشار مقاله: 10-07-1394

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Higher education plays a key role in helping students achieve civility, however uncivil behaviors are growing. The aim of this study was to assess and compare the educators and students perceptions of frequency and importance of the incivility of nursing students.
Methods: In this descriptive comparative study,178 nursing students were selected by a stratified random sampling . By purposive sampling,Sixty-seven educators of the Lorestan University of Medical Sciences were participated. Data were collected using Incivility in Nursing Education-Revised Survey. All analyses were carried out using SPSS, version 20 and descriptive statistics and chi-square test and variance analysis.
Results: Educators and students, disagreed on the frequency and importance of some uncivil behaviors. The uncivil behaviors most experienced by educators were: “expressing disinterest about course content”( %73), and “ arriving late for class”(%69. 9). According to students, the uncivil behaviors most experienced were: “ expressing disinterest about course content”(%78.6), and “ using a media device in class (%70. 2).Also,from the perspectives of educators and students, the maximum mean score belonged to“ physical violence ”(3.9±0.53, 3.84±0.58),“ property damage”( 3.87±0.49 , 3.83±0.59),and “ physical threats or harm to others”( 3.87±0.58 , 3.83±0.59) items, which indicated the high importance of these items. In contrast, the lowest mean score belonged to“ demanding make-up exams, extensions”( 2.19±1.07,1.99±1.08), and “being distant and cold toward others” items( 2.33±0.9,2.41±1.02).
Conclusion:Given the similarities and differences between the views of educators and students on the importance and frequency of uncivil behaviors, the necessity of designing strategies tot increasing their awareness of civilization, rooting out the causes of such behaviors, or considering the topic in undergraduate nursing curriculum are felt.- انتشار مقاله: 01-06-1398
