- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Concerning increased competition among higher education institutions, there is a need for a proper lever such as brand personality. On the other hand, to maintain the sustainable advantageous competition, it is recommended to consider and use information and communication technology in the brand. Objectives: The present study aimed to provide a brand personality model in higher education with emphasis on technology in 2017 - 2018. Methods: Brand personality themes in higher education in the first (qualitative) phase of this study were identified using a thematic analysis. The statistical population was all articles and books listed on international databases in the field of “manager’s competencies in the future”, which were published between 1997 and 2017. In total, 69 articles and books were chosen. In the second (quantitative) phase of the study, 32 comprehensive universities with 10,840 faculty members were used as the statistical population. Then, using Kerjesian and Morgan tables, 373 faculty members were chosen using non-random convenience sampling as the sample. For analysis of the data, a confirmatory factor analysis method and Smart PLS software were used. Results: In this study, 10 organizing themes and 30 basic themes were identified. A 123-item researcher-made questionnaire was developed based on the identified themes. The reliability of the questionnaire was confirmed using Cornbrash’s alpha of higher than 0.80. The high reliability showed high internal correlations between basic themes. Also, based on the results of factor analysis for validating the model, the theme of information technology user with a factor of 0.72 had a high explanatory effect. According to all calculated high factor loads, the research model showed high reliability. Conclusions: The achieved results can be used as a model of brand personality to create a unique market. Moreover, they can increase market share, especially in the field of information technology, in today’s competitive business in research and academic centers.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this paper, the effect of a static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) influence on the frequency of islanded microgrids based on frequency control using fuzzy cooperative control is investigated. To achieve fast frequency control, instantaneous power balance between generation and consumption is inevitable, and it can be supplied through energy storage systems such as battery with a proper frequency control method. Besides, the frequency control of islanded microgrids could be studied under different circumstances, where one aspect analyzed is added to a flexible AC transmission system (FACTS) device, such as STATCOM, in the microgrids. Although STATCOM is charged with improving the voltage profile, it can affect frequency stability by adjusting the voltage very quickly. Due to the importance of refining frequency stability, two controller methods are compared: a classic PI controller and a fuzzy PID controller. Accordingly, the performance of STATCOM is evaluated via two scenarios. Based on simulation results, by applying the fuzzy PID controller to the microgrid, STATCOM can reach the nominal frequency. Moreover, with greater validation and investigation of this topic, this device could be an agreeable alternative to the battery energy storage system (BESS).

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Iranian borage, Echium amoenum, is believed to improve reproduction according to folk medicine. Although E. amoenum distillate known as “Aragh Gav-zaban” is widely consumed as a safe and natural remedy, its possible effects on fertility have not yet been scientifically examined. The present study aimed to investigate the effects of borage distillate (BD) on reproductive parameters of male mice.Methods: In this experimental study, 30 adult male Mus musculus mice (30-35 g) were equally divided into three groups. The control group received distilled water (DW) for five weeks and the other two groups, BD1/2 and BD1/4, received borage distillate of 1/2 dilution (150±2.5 ml/kg/day) and 1/4 dilution (75±1.25 ml/kg/day), respectively, ad libitum for three weeks and DW for 2 weeks. On the day 35, mice were sacrificed, sperm analysis was performed, and sera were collected to evaluate gonadotropins, testosterone, and toxicity parameters. The left testis was excised for stereological study and the right testis was used to evaluate androgen receptor (AR) gene expression. Results: The administration of BD1/2 significantly increased serum FSH (P=0.004), LH (P=0.025), testosterone (P=0.014), the percentage of motile (P=0.011); slow progressive (P=0.001), coiled tail (P<0.001) sperms, and the number of Leydig cells (P=0.008) compared to the control group. Treatment with BD1/4 significantly increased sperm count (P=0.044) and motile sperms percentage (P=0.040) compared to the control group too. The administration of BD revealed no significant effects on toxicity parameters and AR gene expression.Conclusion: The findings of the present study showed that the consumption of borage distillate, as a safe herbal remedy, improves hormonal and sperm parameters in male mice.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Objective: The present study aimed to compare the qualitative (time intensity curve analysis), the semi-quantitative
and the quantitative multiphase 3T dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE) MRI parameters as predictors of malignancy
in adnexal masses. Materials and Methods: In this prospective study, women with an adnexal mass who were
scheduled for surgical resection or were followed for more than one year period to confirm the benignity of their
lesions, underwent multiphase 3T DCE-MRI. The qualitative (time intensity curve), semi-quantitative (SImax, SIrel,
WIR) and quantitative (Ktrans, Kep, Vb) analyses were performed on DCE-MRI sequences and their predictive values
were compared. Results: A total of 17 benign and 14 malignant lesions were included. According to the qualitative
analysis, none of the lesions with Type I time intensity curves (TIC) were malignant and none of the masses with Type
III TICs were benign. The accuracy of the quantitative parameters in detection of malignancy was found to be higher
than that of semi-quantitative variables, particularly when calculated for a small ROI within the high signal area of the
mass (sROI) rather than the largest ROI including the whole mass (lROI), and when inter-MRI variations were omitted
using ratios. The Kep(tumor)/Kep(myometrium) ratio measured from sROI was the best parameter for differentiating
a malignant lesion with a sensitivity of 100% and a specificity of 92.3%. Conclusion: We concluded that a Type I TIC
confirms a benign lesion, and a type III TIC confirms the malignancy and further evaluation is not recommended for
these lesions. So complementary quantitative analysis is only recommended for adnexal masses with type II TICs.- انتشار مقاله: 17-02-1396
