- چکیده انگلیسی: The incident angle of ground motion is one of the sources of uncertainty in the seismic response of buildings. Moreover, understanding the structural response to the impose ground motion may cause significant changes in the maximum response of buildings. In order to investigate the influence of the spatial distribution of orthogonal components of earthquake strong motion on the structural responses, three 15-story buildings were analyzed in this study using the time-history method. A significant live load (750 kg/m2) is imposed at different vertical levels of the structures. The imposed load was combined with ground motion excitations in the range of 0 to 90 degrees. The response of structure was investigated using roof drift index and inter-story drift ratio. Results demonstrate the orientation of seismic excitation and considering the maximum values of roof drift index, which correspond to the critical direction increase roof drift index between 8 to 12 percent. Furthermore, the inter-story drift ratio increased between 30 to 33 percent due to the orientation of excitation and considering the maximum values of the inter-story drift ratio, which correspond to the critical direction.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Recently, concerning failure of structures due to earthquakes, special investigations of near fault ground motions have been noticed. Hence, in this paper, characteristics of near field ground motions have been considered in horizontal and vertical directions. In this consideration, the record averages have been compared with Uniform Building Code and Eurocode8 spectra in two levels. In addition, the ratio of vertical to horizontal spectra has been computed and compared with the assumed value of two thirds in some code provisions. Finally, the response of near field records on five artificial bridges that have covered all 0.5-2.5 seconds periods, have been investigated for comparing the ratio of responses in near field to far field, and forward to backward directivity effects. In addition, the results of the response spectrum analyses of six different bridges subjected to vertical excitations are presented.

- چکیده انگلیسی: ATMs are one of the most important cash distribution channels for banks. In this paper, asset and liability management model is investigated according to the ATMs failure times and ATMs failure to provide services by s, S policy. This paper seeks to provide a continuous review dynamic model for predicting demand with demands of money withdraw in a discrete way, in order to minimize the total costs of dormant money and lost opportunity for Shahr bank ATMs. The number of ATMs surveyed is 272 in Tehran city, and the second 6-month period in 1394 is intended to assess the machines behavior. Arena software is used to simulate the ATMs behavior. Results showed that this model is capable to provide money re-order point and money demand point up to desired size for bank ATMs. Accordingly, the optimal time and amount of money placement in ATMs and the minimum cost of the whole money putting process including optimization costs of the dormant money and lost opportunity are presented. With implementation of this model, in total, money placement costs of Shahr Bank ATMs in Tehran city has decreased by about 10 times.
