- چکیده انگلیسی: In this paper, surface and piezoelectric effects on the vibration behavior of nanowires (NWs) are investigated by using a Timoshenko beam model. The electric field equations and the governing equations of motion for the piezoelectric NWs are derived with the consideration of surface effects. By the exact solution of the governing equations, an expression for the natural frequencies of NWs with simply-supported boundary conditions is obtained. The effects of piezoelectricity and surface effects on the vibrational behavior of Timoshenko NWs are graphically illustrated. A comparison is also made between the predictions of Timoshenko beam model and those of its Euler-Bernoulli counterpart. Additionally, the present results are validated through comparison with the available data in the literature.

- چکیده: وضعیت کلسیم در گوسفندان شیرده، غیر شیرده و گوسفندان نر در جنوب غرب پنجاب، پاکستان بررسی گردید. از چراگاه و حیوان به دنبال شروع یک ماه در هر دو در فصل زمستان و تابستان نمونه گرفته شد. یک مکمل غذایی از مواد معدنی در طول سال در دسترس همه حیوانات قرار داشت. کلسیم پلاسما در تمام حیوانات تحت تاثیر وضعیت فیزیولوژیکی و جنسیت قرار نداشت و به شدت در تمام گروهها پایین بود. غلظتهای کلسیم علوفه و پلاسما در تمام انواع گوسفندان و کلسیم شیر در گوسفندان شیرده تحت تاثیر فصل قرار داشت. در گوسفندان شیرده کاهش اندک سطح کلسیم پلاسما در تابستان و کاهش متوسط آن در فصل زمستان دیده شد. در گوسفندان غیر شیرده کلسیم پلاسما در طول زمستان کاهش متوسطی داشت و در تابستان کاهش اندکی داشت. در گوسفندان نر سطح کلسیم پلاسما در تابستان کاهش ناچیزی داشت در حالیکه در طول زمستان کاهش متوسطی داشت. غلظتهای کلسیم علوفه و خاک در طول هر دو فصل در محدوده یکسانی قرار داشت و یک ارتباط مثبت بین آنها را نشان میداد. بر اساس این بررسیها نتیجه گرفته میشود که وضعیت کلسیم گوسفندان مرتع در این منطقه خاص نیازمند تکمیل توسط یک مخلوط مناسب ویژه جهت رسیدن به ماکزیمم پتانسیل گوسفندان مرتع میباشد.
- چکیده انگلیسی: The calcium status of lactating, non-lactating, and male sheep on farm in southwestern Punjab, Pakistan was studied. Pasture and animal were sampled at the end of the first month of summer and winter. All samplings were carried out fortnightly. A mineral supplement was available to all animals throughout the year. Plasma calcium in all animals was not affected by the physiologic state and gender as it was severely deficient in all classes of animals. The calcium concentrations of forage and plasma in all classes of sheep, and milk in lactating sheep were affected by the season (P<0.001). In the lactating sheep, the marginal deficient levels of calcium for requirement (1200-2600 mg/kg) in summer and moderate deficiency (1200- 2600 mg/kg) for sheep requirement during winter were found. In non-lactating sheep, plasma calcium was moderately deficient during winter and marginally deficient in summer. In male sheep, plasma calcium level in summer was marginally deficient while plasma calcium during winter was moderately deficient. Soil and forage calcium concentrations were found within the same range during both seasons and showed a positive association between them (P<0.001). Based on these analyses, it was concluded that the calcium status of grazing sheep in this specific region needs supplementation with specifically tailored mixture to achieve the maximum potential of grazing sheep in this ranch.

- چکیده انگلیسی: A study was conducted to determine the copper status of different classes of grazing sheep during two
different seasons on a farm located in southern Punjab, Pakistan. A complete free-choice supplement was
available to all animals throughout the year. Soil, forage and blood plasma from animals were taken eight
times during the year (2005) (four times in both summer and winter seasons). Soil Cu2+ was affected by the seasonal changes (P<0.001), higher in summer than that in winter and was significantly higher than the need of plants during both seasons. While forage Cu2+ level showed non-significant seasonal (P>0.05) fluctuation in winter. It was adequate for ruminants’ requirements during both seasons. plasma Cu2+ concentrations of all classes of sheep were significantly higher in winter than that in summer showing the seasonal changes (P<0.001). Higher plasma Cu2+ was found in male sheep than lactating and non-lactating sheep during both seasons. The low Cu2+ in plasma in lactating sheep may have been due to its secretion in milk. In winter forage Cu2+ contributed in enhancing the plasma Cu2+ levels, but in summer the forage Cu2+ level, although very high, was ineffective in elevating plasma Cu2+ levels in all classes of sheep. Based primarily on plasma analyses it was concluded that although, the adequate level of plasma Cu2+ was found, it was on borderline deficient levels. Thus supplementation is needed with mixture containing Cu2+. The plus copper should be continuously supplemented to grazing animals in this semiarid region of Pakistan.- انتشار مقاله: 09-10-1385

- چکیده انگلیسی: Herein, we reported on a middle-aged woman presented with painless cervical lymphadenopathy. Past medical history was not significant. Pathologic examination of incisional biopsy show partial effacement of lymph node architecture with many reactive inflammatory cells admixed with Reed-Sternberg cells, many Charcot-Leyden crystals, and noncaseating granuloma. Immunohistochemical staining was positive for the classic Reed-Sternberg cells for CD15 and CD30 and was negative for CD45 and CD20. All these findings confirmed the diagnosis of Hodgkin's lymphoma. Charcot-Leyden crystals, is considered a morphologic hallmark of eosinophil-related diseases. However, to the best of our knowledge, only one case of Hodgkin's lymphoma has been reported in the world literature who has had Charcot-Leyden crystals.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The present study determined the regenerative effect of bone marrow-derived stem cells (BMSCs) on thioacetamide (TA)-induced liver fibrosis in rats. A total of 30 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into sham control and treatment groups. The rats of the sham control group were subdivided into three groups and sampled on the 14th, 18th, and 20th weeks after fibrosis induction. The rats of the treatment group were subdivided into two groups and sampled on the 4th and 6th weeks after BMSCs treatment. Fibrosis was induced by the intraperitoneal administration of 200 mg/kg of TA twice a week for a period of 14 weeks. All the animals underwent liver function tests and histopathologic evaluation 4 and 6 weeks after BMSCs transplantation. The BMSCs were characterized using osteogenic induction and reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction. The BMSCs were plastic adherent, spindle-shaped, and positive for osteogenic differentiation. They expressed CD73 and were negative for CD45. The infiltration of inflammatory cells and deposition of collagen fibers were noticed after TA administration. A significant decline in inflammatory cells and a healing process were detected 4 weeks after cell transplantation. The amelioration in hepatic tissue was significant 6 weeks after cell therapy. Following the injection of BMSCs, a nonsignificant decrease was visible in aspartate transaminase level; however, this decline was significant for alanine aminotransferase level. The alkaline phosphatase and albumin levels showed an increasing trend after cell administration. The transplantation of BMSCs resulted in a significant regenerative effect after hepatic injuries. Therefore, it was shown that BMSCs transplantation can open a new window and be a therapy of choice in the amelioration of liver fibrosis.
