- چکیده انگلیسی: To investigate the impact of overexpression of AtNRT2.1 transgene from Arabidopsis on nitrate uptake rate and to understand the regulation of endogenous HATS by nitrate and glutamine amino acid (Gln) in tobacco plants, wild-type and transgenic (F line) plants grown on soil for 4 weeks were transferred to hydroponic culture in a controlled-environment with a 16/8h L:D photoperiod at 24? C/20? C, 70% relative humidity and 150 ? mol. m-2. s-1 light intensity. Nitrate uptake over time was studied by the ion depletion method. Nitrate uptake in the 2 h exposure to 150 ?M nitrate showed an increase in the transgenic line compared to the wild-type plant. Subsequently the uptake trend followed a similar pattern in wild-type plant and transgenic plants

- چکیده انگلیسی: The current qualitative study was carried out to investigate the illocutionary force of "Ya Ali" (a deeply culture specific term literally meaning Oh Ali) which is employed by Iranians in oral discourse. This research also aimed at finding out different functions of "Ya Ali" in different contexts and finding their corresponding equivalents in English according to Neubert's text-linguistic model. Data were collected in two phases: First, sixty Persian native speakers of different age groups ranging from 30 to 70, of both genders were observed in 90 natural situations such as daily interactions, gatherings, in public or private places as well as on local TV programs. Second, to corroborate the representativeness of samples, fifteen people were interviewed directly when they utter "Ya Ali" (i.e. think- aloud protocol was used). It was concluded that "Ya Ali" may be employed in either religious or non-religious contexts. Moreover, functions of "Ya Ali" can be used in eight different contexts with different functions. According to Neubert (1991) the translator must modify the source text using a variety of methods, including explicitation, deletion, and modulation in order to produce a more satisfactory and pragmatically adequate translation. The result revealed that explicitation was the most appropriate method for transferring the different meanings of "Ya Ali" from Persian into English.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Context Family, especially the mother, has the most important role in the education, transformation of information, and health behaviors of girls in order for them to have a healthy transition from the critical stage of puberty, but there are different views in this regard. Objectives Considering the various findings about the source of information about puberty, a meta-analysis study was conducted to investigate the extent of the mother’s role in informing girls about puberty. Data Sources This meta-analysis study was based on English articles published from 2000 to February 2015 in the Scopus, PubMed, and Science direct databases and on Persian articles in the SID, Magiran, and Iran Medex databases with determined key words and their MeSH equivalent. Study Selection Quantitative cross-sectional articles were extracted by two independent researchers and finally 46 articles were selected based on inclusion criteria. STROBE list were used for evaluation of studies. Data Extraction The percent of mothers as the current and preferred source of gaining information about the process of puberty, menarche, and menstruation from the perspective of adolescent girls was extracted from the articles. The results of studies were analyzed using meta-analysis (random effects model) and the studies’ heterogeneity was analyzed using the I2 calculation index. Variance between studies was analyzed using tau squared (Tau2) and review manager 5 software. Results The results showed that, from the perspective of teenage girls in Iran and other countries, in 56% of cases, the mother was the current source of information about the process of puberty, menarche, and menstruation. The preferred source of information about the process of puberty, menarche, and menstruation was the mother in all studies at 60% (Iran 57%, and other countries 66%). Conclusions According to the findings of this study, it is essential that health professionals and officials of the ministry of health train mothers about the time, trends, and factors affecting the start of puberty using a multi-dimensional approach that involves religious organizations, community groups, and peer groups.

- چکیده انگلیسی: This paper investigated the effect of the amine-functionalized carbon nanotubes (CNTs) on the thermomechanical properties of CNT/epoxy nanocomposites. Mechanical stirring and ultra-sonication were utilized to uniformly disperse CNTs into the epoxy matrix. Non-functionalized and amine-functionalized CNTs with different weight percentages (wt. %) were mixed into the epoxy resin. Using standard tensile and dilatometry test specimens, this paper determined Young’s modulus, ultimate strength, strain at break, coefficients of thermal expansion, glass transition temperature (Tg), and thermal strain at Tg of the specimens. Neat epoxy, non-functionalized CNT/epoxy (0.25 and 0.5 wt. % CNTs), and functionalized CNT/epoxy (0.25 and 0.5 wt. % functionalized CNTs) nanocomposites were studied. The results indicated that adding 0.25 wt. % functionalized CNTs into the epoxy resin had the greatest effect on Young’s modulus and the nanocomposites’ coefficient of thermal expansion. Moreover, adding CNTs into the epoxy resin decreased the ultimate strength, strain at break, and coefficient of thermal expansion of the specimens.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In the present research, the effects of delamination size and location on vibration characteristics of laminated composite beams are investigated both analytically and numerically. In the analytical method, the delaminated beam is modeled as four interconnected Euler–Bernoulli beams and the constrained and free mode models are both simulated. The differential stretching and the bending-extension coupling are considered in the formulation. Analytical expressions for displacement functions are presented in a simple form based on the basic standard trigonometric and hyperbolic functions. This new technique considerably simplifies the calculations regardless of the number of delaminations. In finite element method, delaminated composite beams are modeled in commercial finite element software, ABAQUS, and natural frequencies and mode shapes are extracted from the modal analysis. Analytical results are compared with finite element ones and available experiments in the literature. Finally, the generated database for different sizes and locations of delamination can be used to detect the existence of delamination in laminated composite beams and thento specify the size and location of delamination.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The effects of amine functionalization of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and CNTs weight percent (wt. %), on the first bending natural frequencies and damping properties of CNT/epoxy composites are investigated in this paper. CNTs and amine functionalized CNTs (AFCNTs), with two different weight percentages, are used to manufacture the beam shaped specimens. Epoxy, CNT/epoxy (0.25 and 0.5 wt. % of CNTs) and AFCNT/epoxy (0.25 and 0.5 wt. % of AFCNTs) were fabricated. Experimental vibrational test is utilized in order to study the free vibration behavior of specimens under clamped-free boundary conditions. Natural frequencies and damping ratios are extracted from the experimental time response graphs. Results indicated that adding AFCNTs (0.5 wt. %) into the matrix material has the most effect on the natural frequency of the beam. In this case, the damping ratio has the lowest value. Moreover, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images of the fracture surface of the specimens are prepared. The images illustrate that amine functionalization of CNTs leads to better dispersion of CNTs into the epoxy matrix. Further, it can be observed that enhancement in the value of damping ratio is more dominant than enhancement in stiffness value by dispersing AFCNTs into the epoxy resin.

- چکیده انگلیسی: This paper investigates the buckling of finite isotropic rectangular plates with circular cutout under uniaxial and biaxial loading. The complex potential method is used to calculate the pre-buckling stress distribution around the cutout in the plate with finite dimensions. To satisfy the in-plane boundary conditions, the generalized complex-potential functions are introduced and a new method based on the boundary integral which has been obtained from the principle of virtual work is used to apply the boundary conditions at the plate edges. The potential energy of the plate is calculated by considering the first order shear deformation theory and the Ritz method is used to calculate the buckling load. The effects of cutout size, type of loading and different boundary conditions on the buckling load are investigated. Comparing of the calculated buckling loads with the finite element results shows the accuracy of the presented method for buckling analysis of the plates.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this paper, accumulation of plastic deformation of AISI 1045 steel plates with circular cutouts under cyclic axial loading is studied. Loading was applied under force-control conditions. Experimental tests were performed using a Zwick/Roell servo hydraulic machine. Under force-control loading with nonzero mean force, plastic strain was accumulated in continuous cycles called ratcheting. Numerical analysis was carried out by ABAQUS software using nonlinear isotropic/kinematic hardening model. The results of the numerical simulations were compared to experimental data. The results demonstrated that the ratcheting response of plates with circular cutouts could be numerically simulated with a reasonable accuracy. It was observed that the local and global plastic deformation increase with increasing the notch diameter. Also, maximum principal stress was the main parameter for initiation of crack around the notch. Based on numerical results, at notch root, both ratcheting strain and local mean stress relaxation was occur simultaneously and due to relaxation of local mean stress, plastic shakedown was occurred.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Besides experimental methods, numerical simulations bring benefits and great opportunities to characterize and predict mechanical behaviors of materials especially at nanoscale. In this study, a nano-single crystal aluminum (Al) as a typical face centered cubic (FCC) metal was modeled based on molecular dynamics (MD) method and by applying tensile and compressive strain loadings its mechanical behaviors were investigated. Embedded atom method (EAM) was employed to represent the interatomic potential of the system described by a canonical ensemble. Stress-strain curves and mechanical properties including modulus of elasticity, Poisson’s ratio, and yield strength were determined. Furthermore, the effects of strain rate and system temperature on mechanical behavior were obtained. It was found that the mechanical properties exhibited a considerable dependency to temperature, but they hardly changed with increase of strain rate. Moreover, nucleation and propagation of dislocations along the plane of maximum shearing stress were the mechanisms of the nanocrystalline Al plastic deformation.
