- چکیده: آلسترومریا یکی از مهمترین گلهای شاخه بریده در جهان محسوب میشود. هدف از این پژوهش بررسی تاثیر اسانس شوید و زیره سبز بر خصوصیات فیزیولوژیکی و میکروبیولوژیکی گل شاخه بریده آلسترومریا است. اسانس بذور این دو گیاه به روش تقطیر هیدروژن و با دستگاه GC جدا شده و با دستگاه GC/MS ترکیبات موجود در نمونهها تعیین شد. این آزمایش بهصورت فاکتوریل در طرح کاملا تصادفی با دو فاکتور انجام گرفت. اسانس شوید و زیره سبز که هر کدام با دو غلظت مختلف (50 و 100 میلیگرم/ لیتر)، عامل دوم روشهای مورد استفاده (قبل از برداشت، پس از برداشت) بود. نتایج نشان داد که استفاده از اسانس شوید 100میلیگرم/ لیتر در قبل از برداشت، بهترین روش برای همه صفات است. 11 کلنی باکتری در انتهای ساقه گل آلسترومریا بریده شناخته شدند که شاملE-coli، Enterobacter، Klebsiella، Proteus، Serratia، Citrobacter، Pseudomonas، Staphylococcus aureus، استرپتوکوک، Bacillus cereus و Actinomycetes است. کاربرد قبل از برداشت اسانس شوید (100 میلیگرم/ لیتر) در بهبود ویژگیهای مرتبط با ماندگاری گل بریده آلسترومریا بهترین اثر را داشت.
- چکیده انگلیسی: Alstroemeria (Alstroemeria hybrida) is one of the most important cut flowers in the world. The aim of this study is investigating on the effect of dill and cumin essential oils on physiological and microbiological traits of alstroemeria cut flowers. Hydro-distillation method and GC isolated the essential oils of seed and GC/MS examined the chemical compositions of the samples. This experiment carried out as factorial based on completely randomized design with two factors of essential oils of dill and cumin (50 and 100 ppm). The second factor was used of methods (pre-harvest, post-harvest). The results showed that the dill essential oil treatment (100 ppm) in pre-harvest was the best treatment for all known traits. 11 colonies of bacteria were identified in stem end of cut alstroemeria flowers; which are E-coli, Enterobacter, Klebsiella, Proteus, Serratia, Citrobacter, Pseudomonas, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus, Bacillus cereus and Actinomycetes. Due to the positive impact of dill essential oil (100 ppm) in the pre-harvest method in improving traits associated with vase life of cut alstroemeria flowers, these treatments are recommended.

Intratympanic therapy, as a widely used treatment for inner ear diseases, is regarded as a therapeutic method in controlling the vertigo of the patients with Meniere’s disease. This study was designed to evaluate the effect of the Intratympanic dexamethasone-hyaluronic acid combination on patients suffering from Meniere’s disease.
Materials and Methods:
This study was a clinical trial on patients with Meniere’s disease during 2016-2017. Patients received two Intratympanic injections of dexamethasone plus hyaluronic acid as a mixture within a month. Before and 2 weeks after the intervention, pure tone average (PTA) at 0.5, 1, 2, and 4 KHz frequencies, speech discrimination score (SDS), dizziness handicap inventory (DHI), and tinnitus handicap inventory (THI) scores were evaluated for each patient. The obtained scores were statistically analyzed.
Results:
This study was conducted on a total number of 25 patients with Meniere's disease. The mean age of participants in this study was 44.71±4.92 years. Gender distribution among participants revealed that 36% of patients were male. The mean values of PTA, SDS, and THI were not significantly different before and after the intervention. However, the mean score of DHI decreased significantly after the intervention (P<0.001).
Conclusion:
Intratympanic dexamethasone/hyaluronic acid had a positive effect on the vertigo of the investigated patients without any significant improvement in hearing impairment and tinnitus in the short term.- انتشار مقاله: 30-06-1397

- چکیده انگلیسی: Skin drug delivery systems with controlled release are suitable means for the local transfer of pharmaceutical compounds to the damaged and healthy layers of skin. Nanofibrous membrane prepares uniform moisture in the wound environment with less accumulation of fluid secretion due to its variable pore size. Electrospinning takes advantage of using herbal extracts in the form of electrospun nanofibrous mats as an alternative for skin grafts. In this study, after preparing optimized fibrous mats of Poly lactic-co – glycolic acid (PLGA), characterization and identification of their chemical structure was carried out by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). The drug release of the optimized electrospun nanofibrous mats and the kinetics of drug release were investigated in vitro. Then, wound dressing performance, antibacterial property, cell adhesion and biocompatibility of nanofibrous scaffolds prepared by Methyl Thiazolyl Tetrazolium (MTT) assays as well as important features of suitable wound dressing including porosity, Water Vapor Transmission Rate, and swelling percentage of nanofibrous mats were evaluated in vitro. Nanofibrous mats containing Hypericum perforatum extract without any bead with burst drug release kinetics followed Higuchi kinetic model with proper regression coefficient (PLGA-E10 = 0.8, PLGA-E30 = 0.76). The results of the antibacterial activity of nanofibrous mats against Gram positive bacteria (S. aureus) as well as the results of the cell culture test and in vitro biodegradability tests on these mats showed good potential of composite scaffolds as antimicrobial coverage for wounds with Gram positive bacteria infectious agent.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this work, mesoporous MCM-41 nanoparticles (MCM-41NPs) were synthesized using the rice husk ash (RHA), as the silica source at room temperature. Ag2O quantum dots were prepared using a chemical method in matrix nanoparticles, and used as an antibacterial material. Bactericidal activity of the nanomaterials was investigated against E. coli and S. aureus bacteria. The synthesized materials were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and transmission electron microscope (TEM). The minimum concentrations of nanocomposite to inhibit the growth of E. coli and S. aureus strains were 12.5 µg/mL. The Ag2O quantum dots indicated acceptable antimicrobial properties, with an average diameter of 16 mm.
