- چکیده انگلیسی: The presented article is attempted to use the nanoclay filter to provide the natural restrictor to prevent the spread of industrial effluents transmission channels related to Kaveh Soda company in Maragheh, northwest of Iran. For this purpose, a laboratory model has been designed to evaluate the performance ability of nanoclay filters to reduce soil permeability. In the experiment used 0%, 3%, 6% and 9% nanocaly contents specimens to create the filter columns which are performed by permeability test. In this test, the inlet fluid was the factory industrial effluent instead of water. According to the results, it can specified to the permeability coefficient was 3.18×10-4 cm/s (0% nanoclays) which decreased to 7.71×10-7 (9% nanoclays). This indicates the ability of the nano-filter to significantly reduce the permeability coefficient.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The present study attempt to investigate the soil permeability behavior in landfill liners, which is very valuable in controlling municipal waste leachate runaway. In this regard, laboratory experiment is conducted on 20 soil samples which are modified with 0%, 3%, 6% and 9% nanoclays, respectively. For this purpose, permeability test are performed for each case of samples with various nanocaly contents and obtained permeability results are compared. The nature of the utilized nanoclay, in this research, is of the mentomorillonite type. According to the results of the study, by increasing the nanoclay percentage from 0 to 9, the soil permeability reduces. The permeability in samples with 0% nanoclay reduces from 3.16×10 -4 cm/s to 4.09×10-7cm/s by increasing the naniclay percentage up to 9%. This value for acidic conditions made by leachate (pH = 6) is 2.12×10-5 cm/s; which also reduces to 6.22×10-7 cm/s by nanoclay ratio increasing with the same percentage. The obtained resultsrepresents the capability of nanoclays to controlling the municipal waste leachate runaway in landfill liners.

- چکیده انگلیسی: One of a feasible and efficient method to retrofit structures is spraying shotcrete which is widely applied around the world. Shotcrete is concrete with fine aggregates which are sprayed through a hose and by air pressure coat at high velocity onto a surface. In the current research, three masonry schools from different regions of Iran are selected. The retrofitted wall surfaces have been prepared and became flatted, and Schmidt hammer and Ultrasonic tests are performed for each point. The results from the experimental investigation are compared with each other, and some experimental results are compared with theoretical results. To investigate the seismic behavior of structures, one of the schools is chosen and then finite element method is used to do time history analysis regarding four ground motions record. Finally, there was an agreement between experimental and theoretically dynamic modules. In retrofitted conditions, the obtained frequencies are more than the un-retrofitted condition and dynamic time- history analyses have shown that in retrofitted condition, the displacements will decrease and the seismic performance of structure will increase considerably.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction: The information literacy status and the use ofinformation technology among students in the globalization age ofcourse plans are very momentous. This study aimed to evaluate theinformation literacy status and use of information technology amongmedical students of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences in 2013.Methods: This was a descriptive-analytical study with crosssectionalmethod. The study population consisted of all medicalstudents (physiopathology, externship and internship) studyingat Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. The sample size(n=310) was selected by systematic random sampling. Thetool of data gathering was LASSI questionnaire (assigned byAmerica research association) with 48 closed items in five-pointLIKERT scale. The questionnaire included two distinct parts ofdemographic questions and the information literacy skills basedon the standards of information literacy capacities for academiceducation. The content validity was acquired by professors’and experts’ comments. The reliability was also calculated byCronbach’s alpha (0.85). Data were analyzed in both descriptive(frequency- mean) and analytical level (t-test, analysis of variance)using SPSS 14 software.Results: 60.3% of the participants were females, and theremaining (29.7%) were males. The mean score of informationliteracy and its five subgroups among the students weren’t at adesirable level. The mean scores of information literacy foreducational grades from the highest to lowest belonged to theinternship, physiopathology and externship. The results showedthat the highest average was related to the effective access abilityto information among interns (9.27±3.57) and the lowest onewas related to the ability of understanding legal and economicalcases related with using information among externs (3.11±1.32).The results of ANOVA showed that there wasn’t a significantdifference between educational grades and information literacy.Finally, the result of independent t-test did not show a significantdifference between the two genders in information literacy.Conclusion: Regarding the importance of information literacy formedical students and undesirable status of information literacyamong students, the current educational plans will need to be revised.Keywords: Medical students; Information literacy; Technology; Medical informatics
