- چکیده انگلیسی: An important part of understanding women's and men's attitudes and behaviors is considering their ideas and opinions. Based on gender stereotyping of view women and men have different types of behavior, manner and characteristics. Both genders do their jobs differently. Stereotyping process focuses on ability and characteristics of women, and men are lack of them. On the other hand, it also focuses on the capability and speciality of men, and women are lack of them. This research was done by 600 students (boy and girls) at I.A.U of Shoshtar and Chamran of Ahvaz. The results show those family with patriarchy structure of gender stereotyping is easily acceptable in contrast to mother-centered or participatory family structures. Men are behaving more according to their stereotypes and opinion than women.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this work, we used a simple and totally green method for synthesizing silver nanoparticles using kappa-carrageenan as reducing and stabilizing agent. The beads were prepared in aqueous medium by microwave heating, and then followed by cross-linking with K+ cations without using any additional toxic and expensive chemical agents. The preparation method of the carrageenan-based beads is easy, fast, simple, effective, and safe. The synthesized beads loaded with were characterized by ultraviolet-visible absorbance spectra, transmition electron microscopy and X-Ray diffraction techniques. The as-prepared beads were evaluated to remove cationic crystal violet dye from aqueous solutions. The thermodynamic parameters shown that the sorption process was feasible, spontaneous and endothermic. The kinetics and isotherm of crystal violet adsorption were found to well fit to pseudo-second-order kinetic and Langmuir isotherm model, respectively. Moreover, the antibacterial activity of the obtained beads was examined using the nutrient agar disc diffusion method.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The development of effective organizations for service provision and responding to the demands of the citizens in a rapid, easy and suitable fashion has been considered by officials of the public sector in recent years in many countries worldwide. The realization of the importance, application and also the role that ITC can play toward promotion of accountability in the public sector, has caused the policy makers in different communities to include it in their agenda and plans and issue the relevant instructions in relation to ITC and laid down the institutional and executive grounds for application of ITC in the governmental sector. This paper has investigated one of basic and challenging problems in connection with ITC application in development of accountability system in governmental sector. The most important aim of the paper is to address the social and infrastructural barriers, digital gap, legal, information security and change management barriers as the most important barriers of ITC implementation; aiming to pave the way for development of the required ground for promotion of accountability to the beneficiaries. The authors have thoroughly reviewed the relevant literature and made several discovery interviews with the professionals of the sector and tried to recognize the main parameters and variables of the research by use of a descriptive and survey method and selected the members of the statistical samples by using random class sampling and, eventually, investigated the hypothesis of the study in governmental companies dealing with mining sector activities. The results showed that the social, infrastructure, digital gap and legal barriers are the most important barriers towards the implementation of ITC towards the accountability in governmental company in mining industries sector and data security and change management are the barriers with the least important.

- چکیده انگلیسی: One of the many types of wind turbines that are widely used in the world, Wind turbines are powered by induction generators. Due to the increasing use of this generator in wind farms and power grids as well as the increasing use of PACIS devices and compensators in the transmission lines, a careful study of behavior and their dynamic modeling is felt more and more. To this end, a small wind turbine signal model with a dual-induced induction generator is first introduced it is introduced at different wind speeds. Then using the series compensator capacitor, dynamic behavior of double induction generator in the presence of this compensator at various wind speeds, the analysis and power stability of the transmission line are investigated.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The effect of aqueous extract of Nepata glomerulosa Boiss. aerial parts on morphine withdrawal syndrome was investigated in mice. Dependence was induced by subcutaneous injections of morphine for 3 consecutive days. On day 4, morphine was injected 2 h prior to intraperitoneal injection of naloxone. The number of jumps during a 20 min. period after naloxone injection was considered as a measure of the withdrawal syndrome. Open field and rotarod tests were also performed. The results indicated that the aqueous extract (0.1 to 2.8 g/kg, s.c.) and diazepam (5 mg/kg) reduced the number of jumps (58±2.3 to 10±0.82, pvs normal saline, 87±3.4). The extracts also reduced motion balance and locomotion activity. It is concluded that the aqueous extract of N. glomerulosa aerial parts could diminish morphine withdrawal syndrome.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The acute and sub-acute toxicity of safranal were studied in rat and mice within 2 and 21 days after exposure, respectively. For subacute toxicity, changes in weight as well as biochemical, hematological and pathological parameters were studied. The intraperitoneal LD50 values of safranal were 1.48 mL/kg in male mice, 1.88 mL/kg in female mice and 1.50 mL/kg in male rats. Oral LD50 values were 21.42 mL/kg in male mice, 11.42 mL/kg in female mice and 5.53 mL/kg in male rats. For subacute toxicity, safranal was administered orally to male rats once daily for 21 days. In hematological tests, a significant decrease in RBC counts, hematocrit, hemoglobin and platelets were observed. Safranal decreased cholesterol, triglyceride and alkalin phosphatase. Lactate dehydrogenase and serum urea nitrogen were increased by safranal. Histological studies indicated that safranal did not have any toxic effect on the heart, liver and spleen. However, pathological changes were seen in the kidney and lung. According to LD50 values, safranal was low-toxic in acute intraperitoneal route and practically non-toxic in acute oral administration in both mice and rats. In subacute toxicity, safranal changed some hematological and biochemical parameters.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Metabolic syndrome as a clustering disorder includes excess abdominal fat distribution, abnormal insulin and glucose metabolism, disturbed blood lipids, pro-inflammatory state, and hypertension. Regarding to the adverse effects of synthetic medicines, the identification of appropriate healthcare approaches, such as herbal medicines, with fewer side effects is more favorable. Allium cepa L. (onion) is a culinary and medicinal herb belonging to the family of Amaryllidaceae. Flavonoids such as quercetin and kaempferol, alk(en)yl cysteine sulfoxides including S-methyl cysteine sulfoxide and S-propyl cysteine sulfoxide, cycloalliin, thiosulfinates, and sulfides are main compounds existing in the plant. A. cepa and its pharmacologically active constituents display broad-spectrum activities including anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, lipid-modifying, anti-obesity, antihypertensive, and antidiabetic effects. Our objective in this review was to find out the role of A. cepa and its bioactive phytochemicals as cardiovascular protective agents in different metabolic syndrome risk factors, including hyperlipidemia, high blood glucose, obesity, and hypertension.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The metabolic syndrome, a cluster of metabolic disorders, includes abdominal obesity, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and hyperglycemia leading to insulin resistance, development of diabetes mellitus, and cardiovascular diseases. For the treatment of metabolic syndrome, traditional herbal medicines such as frankincense or Boswellia species have been used due to their anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-obesity, antidiabetic, antihypertensive, and hypolipidemic properties. Based on the literature, published evidence up to 2020 about the therapeutic effects of Boswellia species on the metabolic disorder among Medline, Scopus, and Google Scholar were precisely evaluated by keywords such as obesity, diabetes, hyperglycemia, hypertension, blood pressure, dyslipidemia, metabolic syndrome, frankincense, and Boswellia. According to the results, Boswellia species have beneficial effects to control metabolic syndrome and its related disorders such as hyperglycemia, dyslipidemia, hypertension, obesity, diabetes, and its complications. Boswellia species by reducing the resistance to insulin and restoring pancreatic beta cells decrease blood glucose. Also, Boswellia species has antithrombotic and anticoagulant properties that regulate blood pressure. The anti-oxidant properties of Boswellia species modulate the blood lipid profile via reducing TNF-α, IL-1β levels, and increasing the adiponectin level. The therapeutic and protective effects of Boswellia species on metabolic disorders were remarkably confirmed regarding decreasing hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, and obesity.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Objective(s): Thymoquinone (TQ) has valuable medical properties like anticancer effects. Development of multidrug resistance (MDR) phenotype is one of the most important factors in failure of cancer chemotherapy. The aim of this study was to evaluate the mode of interaction of TQ and MDR1, a major MDR-related protein in gastric cancer drug resistant EPG85-257RDB cells, and its parental non-resistant EPG85-257 cells.
Materials and Methods: MTT assay was used to assess the effects of TQ and doxorubicin (DOX) on cell viability of tested cell lines and TQ effect on pump performance. HPLC analyses were used to measure the input and output of TQ in EPG85-257RDB cells. Molecular docking studies were used to identify interactions between TQ and MDR1.
Results: TQ inhibited cell viability in a time and concentration-dependent manner. Co-treatment of the cells with TQ and DOX did not significantly affect the amount of cell viability in comparison with DOX treatment alone. The HPLC analyses showed that more than 90% of TQ entered to EPG85-257RDB during 1 hr of treatment with TQ, but it was unable to exit from the cells. Moreover, there was no difference between influx and efflux amount of TQ in cells with inhibited and non-inhibited MDR1 transporters. Molecular docking studies revealed that TQ had a higher inhibitory constant to bind to active site of MDR1 protein as compared to specific inhibitor (verapamil) and substrate (vinblastine) of this transporter.
Conclusion: These results proposed that TQ does not work as an inhibitor or a substrate of MDR1 transporter.- انتشار مقاله: 02-09-1398

- چکیده انگلیسی: Objective(s): Hyperglycemia induces cellular senescence in various body cells, such as vascular endothelial cells. Since the vessels are highly distributed in the body and nourish all tissues, vascular damages cause diabetes complications such as kidney failure and visual impairment. Alpha-mangostin is a xanthone found in mangosteen fruit with protective effects in metabolic syndrome and diabetes. This paper has investigated the protective effect of this xanthone against high glucose-induced memory senescence in human vascular endothelial cells (HUVECs) in the presence of metformin, as a positive control.
Materials and Methods: To induce the memory senescence model, HUVECs, after three days incubation with high glucose, were incubated with normal glucose for another three days, and for whole six days, cells were treated with metformin (50 µM) or alpha-mangostin (1.25 µM). On the last day, cell viability by MTT assay, oxidative stress by fluorimetric assay, the number of senescent cells by SA beta-galactosidase staining kit, and secretory interleukin-6 by ELISA kit were measured. SIRT1 and P53 proteins were also evaluated by Western blotting.
Results: Metformin and alpha-mangostin significantly increased cell viability, decreased reactive oxygen species, and senescence-associated beta-galactosidase in HUVECs incubated in metabolic memory condition. Generally, metabolic memory increased p53 and acetyl-P53 and decreased SIRT1 proteins in HUVECs, which were reversed by alpha-mangostin and metformin.
Conclusion: These data exhibit that alpha-mangostin, comparable to metformin, protects endothelial cells against metabolic memory-induced senescence, which is likely via SIRT1.- انتشار مقاله: 04-03-1398
