- چکیده انگلیسی: A Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG)-based wind power generation system in microgrid significantly affects the power system operation. This paper describes the behavior of a microgrid with DFIG’s by use of control strategies under voltage sag conditions. Superconducting Magnetic Energy Storage (SMES) unit and a Static Var Compensator (SVC) are employed to increase the operation of a wind power generation system based on DFIG during a voltage sag. Comprehensive simulation with the relevant details is performed using MatLab/Simulink software to define the effect of the SMES and SVC units by increasing the efficiency and performance of the system during voltage sag condition in a microgrid and the results are compared. For optimal use of the SMES and SVC units, economic considerations are applied.

- چکیده انگلیسی: This paper aims to describe the role of electricity retailer in power market for persuading consumer to shift their loads. It presents the influence of load shifting on retailer profit and risk management in market environment. In this problem, retailer participates in bilateral contract, also stochastic programming is used to manage the uncertainties of pool prices and elasticity of consumer. It shows that by participating retailer in market contract, the retailer profit will be changed. This paper also analyzes the consumer behavior when the load is shifted from the time with high price to the time with low price. The tariff of demand response program used in this paper is Time of use pricing for the periods of week. Risk Measuring is done by Value at Risk (VaR) and Conditional Value at Risk (CVaR) in this study.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this paper, the effect of a static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) influence on the frequency of islanded microgrids based on frequency control using fuzzy cooperative control is investigated. To achieve fast frequency control, instantaneous power balance between generation and consumption is inevitable, and it can be supplied through energy storage systems such as battery with a proper frequency control method. Besides, the frequency control of islanded microgrids could be studied under different circumstances, where one aspect analyzed is added to a flexible AC transmission system (FACTS) device, such as STATCOM, in the microgrids. Although STATCOM is charged with improving the voltage profile, it can affect frequency stability by adjusting the voltage very quickly. Due to the importance of refining frequency stability, two controller methods are compared: a classic PI controller and a fuzzy PID controller. Accordingly, the performance of STATCOM is evaluated via two scenarios. Based on simulation results, by applying the fuzzy PID controller to the microgrid, STATCOM can reach the nominal frequency. Moreover, with greater validation and investigation of this topic, this device could be an agreeable alternative to the battery energy storage system (BESS).

- چکیده انگلیسی: In an inconsistent view of energy systems, the interaction between different energy carriers is not taken into account. In such a view, the considered problem is not well optimized. The idea of an integrated looking into several carriers has been proposed by creating the energy hub concept. Due to the simultaneous attention of all energy carriers, long-term planning and short-term operation have converted to complicated challenges. To this end, this study focuses on the energy hub operation for cost minimization. In addition to considering reliability indices for different loads, diversity constraint is regarded as a key point to increase energy security. Sensitivity analysis of the degree of diversity and its effects on operation costs and Expected Energy not Supply (EENS), play a vital role in the final decision. LINDOGlobal solver is employed in GAMS to implement Mixed Integer Nonlinear Programming (MINLP) model. A sample energy hub, considering three carriers in the input port and three loads in the output port, is used as a test system, and results are discussed in depth.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Energy hubs connect multi energy carriers at the input port to various loads at the output port. The present study investigates the optimal operation of the energy hub as a centralized unit. In this paper, the main objective function is exhibited by the minimization of the total operation cost subject to a set of constraints. The cost function comprises two parts, namely the different energy carriers cost and the production cost of the environmental pollutants caused by each carrier. The constraints involved in operation problem of the energy hub include power balance, limitations of energy storages and converters. Well-known Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) is used to tackle the proposed optimization model. Tidal power plant as a new renewable energy resource is also considered in the input port of the energy hub. In order to investigate the effectiveness of the model, the proposed model is examined on a test system. Considering the production cost of the environmental pollutants makes the problem to be more realistic. As a result, it is recommended to consider the emission cost in the energy hub operation problem.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The growth and expansion of economic concepts in the power system is increasing in last years. Energy economists have considered the optimal decision-making of electricity market retailers in recent years. In this paper, a demand response program based model is pro-posed in order to make the optimal decision of the retailer in the electricity market, taking into account the different conditions that the retailer may face. The optimal model presented by mod-eling the behavior of retailers and consumers, while maximizing the profit of retailers, also leads to the optimal purchase of retailers from conventional contracts in the electricity market. The formulation of the proposed model is based on the presence of the retailer in the bilateral con-tracts as well as the pool market contracts in such a way that the optimization problem is solved in the form of nonlinear programming with SNOPT solver in GAMS software. The results indicate the effectiveness of the proposed model based on the fact that while increasing the retailer profit, the retailer purchase is also managed in the bilateral contract and the pool market.
