- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction: The main purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between the degree of the students' satisfaction from electronic education and the degree of observing morality and vocational qualifications by the faculty members of electronic education from the students' viewpoints.Methods: The present study was applicative and it was conducted through descriptive-survey method. The statistical population was all virtual education students ( N=550) in Isfahan University and the nursing and midwifery group of Isfahan medical sciences. The statistical sample was estimated 226 and they were selected by random clustering sampling method. The information was collected via the researcher-made questionnaire with 60 items. The reliability of the questionnaire was calculated 0.94 through Cronbach alpha coefficient. The data analysis was conducted through mean, percentage and standard deviation at descriptive level and mono-variable t-test, variance analysis, and Pearson correlation coefficient at inferential level.Results: The results showed that the degree of the students' satisfaction from electronic education was 2.65. Moreover, the achieved mean regarding the degree of observing morality and vocational qualifications by the faculty members was 3.24. Further, the results indicated that there was a significant and direct relationship between the students' degree of satisfaction and the degree of observing vocational morality by the faculty members of electronic education. In examining the difference between the students' satisfaction from virtual education according to demographic factors, the results showed that just the age factor was effective P < 0.01. Conclusion: The results of the current study, along with other conducted research, have indicated that there are relation between students’ satisfaction with the rate of observing professors’ morality and vocational qualifications. This means that there should be more instructions about ethical professional issues. More ethical and moral workshops and seminars are suggested.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction: Help seeking is one of the meta-cognitive strategies that are used by learners in self-regulated learning. The main purpose of this study was to compare the dimensions of students’ academic help seeking in e-learning courses and on campus courses.Materials and Methods: The research used a descriptive-survey method. The statistical population consisted of all virtual and on campus students of Isfahan University in three majors of librarianship, Management and MBA in 1389-1390. 300 students were selected by stratified random sampling method. For gathering data a self-made questionnaire was used. This questionnaire was made according to Verhaselt (2008) inventory. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by experts and its reliability was found to be 0.94, using alpha coefficient of Cronbach’s.Results: The results indicated that there was no significant difference between the virtual and on campus students in terms of different dimensions of help seeking behaviors (p≥05). There was a significant relationship between help seeking aspects (types, resources, threats, avoidance and cultural beliefs) and students’ academic achievements and their satisfaction. Regarding this, there was a statistically significant difference between the virtual and on campus students.Conclusion: From the results of this study we conclude that the virtual universities and producers of educational media could identify the students’ attitudes toward help seeking behaviors and investigate the reasons for help seeking avoidance. Having recognizing the related issues, we can develop and expand the culture of help giving and help seeking behaviors and decrease a lot of problems learners might face.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction: With exponential increase of virtual courses in higher education, most universities have provided this kind of education for their students. Due to the lack of face to face interaction between professors and students in this type of education, many types of supports including human and non-human resources would be necessary. The main purpose of the present paper was to identify and compare the types of supportive resources from the viewpoints of students attending electronic and on campus courses.Materials and Methods: For this purpose, 160 graduated students from Isfahan University, both virtual and non-virtual, were selected, using the stratified random sampling method. The data were gathered through a researcher-made questionnaire which was based on literature review. The content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by experts. Its reliability was estimated to be 0.84, using Alpha-Cronbach’s coefficient. The data were analyzed, using frequencies, percentages and the chi-square test.Results: The results indicated that in non-virtual courses, professors were the most important support for students while in virtual courses, students significantly used supports from teachers’ assistants, and professors and students from other universities to meet their needs (P < 0.05).Conclusion: In terms of using non-human resources, especially media for education, there was a significant difference between students in electronic courses and on campus students.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction: The present study aimed to investigate the relationship between motivational strategies of learning and valuing tasks in the achievement of students of the Virtual University of Isfahan, Iran.Materials & Methods: In this descriptive study, college students at the Virtual University of Isfahan were enroleld, of whom 136 were selected using proportional sampling. To assess the research component the standardized questionnaire of Motivational Strategies for Learning (MSLQ) developed by Pintrich and DeGroot was used. Its validity was adjusted using the content-based approach and a reliability of 0.67 was obtained using Cronbach's alpha. Data were analyzed Using descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, and correlation coefficient.Results: The mean±SD score of using repetition and mental rehearsal strategies of virtual students was 2.76±0.429 (error=0.05), which was less than the average level (average weight=3). However, mean±SD levels of using semantic (3.78±0.593) and organizational (3.13 ±0.499) development strategies and valuing tasks (3.41± 0.371) were higher than average (average weight=3). Also the results of the correlation test showed a significant relationship between the use of mental strategies, organization strategies, semantic expansion, and valuing tasks and academic achievement in virtual students.Conclusion: In order to motivate students, an emphasis should be made on applying diverse and suitable learning strategies and the students interests and desires should be considered in compiling such courses in order to make them more attractive.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Information and communication technology has changes life to a great extent in many different aspects. Accordingly, the traditional methods of teaching have also evolved and physical presence in the classroom is not as necessary as before. In the past, education benefitted solely from the presence of teachers, and books were the main source of information. Currently, with the emergence of new tools, methods, and learning environments, modern modes of education are forming. Of these methods is electronic learning in which the fundamental role of the teacher is usually neglected, and it is commonly assumed that in this method the teacher is not as important as the traditional education system. However, the learning quantity and quality and the effective and efficient use of different equipment depends on the teacher's amount of activity, attitude, and skills. This descriptive-analytic study presents a set of guidelines and techniques to enhance the teacher's efficiency and effectiveness and the learning quality of the students in electronic learning. The subjects covered in this study are as follows: Holmberg’s distance learning theory, methods for increasing the student-teacher relationship, encouraging students to cooperate, pursuing students to learn actively, presenting quick feedback, emphasizing on work time, realizing the expectations of educational course, and respecting different learning styles and skills.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Currently, many universities all over the world invest in e-learning implementation. One of most important groups influencing this work are faculty members. However, plenty of studies reported faculty resistant to adopt new technologies as a basic challenge against developing e-learning program. According to these studies, faculty remarked broad listing of inhibitor factors- such as lack of time, lack of institutional support, lack of scholarly respect in the areas of promotion and tenure, and lack of training- as their obstacles in participating in e-learning program. However, list of inhibiting factors for faculty participation in distance education is lengthy. Therefore, the researcher proposed one model to record the various factors found within literature studies. According to this model, inhibiting factors are grouped into three categories which included personal (based on habits and individual treatment of faculty) attitudinal (based on faculty attitudes about per se specification of e-learning environment) and contextual (based on institute shortage of supply and institutional support). Upon this categorization, the researcher investigates issues that affect the above notions.

Methods: The study population includes all students in the second year of public guidance schools in the city of Isfahan in the educational year of 2009-2010. The sample size includes 564 students selected by multiple steps stratified sampling. Dependent variables include general health in dimensions of physical health, anxiety and sleeplessness and impaired social functioning. Data were collected using General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28) scale and a questionnaire on addiction to computer games. Pearson's correlation coefficient and structural model were used for data analysis. Findings: There was a significant positive correlation between students' computer games addiction and their physical and mental health in dimensions of physical health, anxiety and sleeplessness There was a significant negative relationship between addictions to computer games and impaired social functioning. Conclusion: The results of this study are in agreement with the findings of other studies around the world. As the results show, addiction to computer games affects various dimensions of health and increases physical problems, anxiety and depression, while decreases social functioning disorder. - چکیده انگلیسی: Abstract Backgrounds: The purpose of this study was to evaluate various educations in primary schools to prevent drug addiction. Methods: In this qualitative study, data included the experiences of those who been students in the developed countries for some years as well as their parents. The data were collected by semi-structured and unstructured interviews as well as documents. Findings: The results showed that education for prevention of drug addiction begins in primary schools in the developed countries using various methods. These educations are not occasional but constant and infused in all curriculum subjects and grades. Students become familiar with various drugs and learn about their effects. Conclusion: Our findings showed that social problems are discussed openly in schools of the developed countries and students try to find solutions which are considered by authorities.
