- چکیده انگلیسی: A general synthetic route for the synthesis of 1,2-dihydro-1-aryl-naphtho[1,2-e][1,3]oxazine-3-one derivatives has been developed using perlite-SO3H nanoparticles as efficient catalyst under both microwave-assisted and thermal solvent-free conditions. The combination of 2-naphthol, aldehyde and urea enabled the synthesis of 1,2-dihydro-1-aryl-naphtho[1,2-e][1,3]oxazine-3-one derivatives in the presence of perlite-SO3H nanoparticles in good to excellent yields. This method provides several advantages like simple work-up, environmentally benign, and shorter reaction times along with high yields. In order to explore the recyclability of the catalyst, the perlite-SO3H nanoparticles in solvent-free conditions were used as catalyst for the same reaction repeatedly and the change in their catalytic activity was studied. It was found that perlite-SO3H nanoparticles could be reused for four cycles with negligible loss of their activity. Single crystal X-ray structure analysis and theoretical studies also were investigated for 4i product. The electronic properties of the compound have been analyzed using DFT calculations (B3LYP/6-311+G*). The FMO analysis suggests that charge transfer takes place within the molecule and the HOMO is localized mainly on naphthalene and oxazinone rings whereas the LUMO resides on the naphthalene ring.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Nanomagnetic MgFe2O4 is an active, stable, and reusable catalyst for the oxidation of alcohols. The oxidation of various primary and secondary alcohols has been examined and related corresponding products were obtained in good yields. The reactions were carried out in the presence of water as solvent and oxone (at room temperature) or H2O2 (at 60 ºC) as an oxidant. The catalyst was investigated by X-ray powder diffraction, scanning electron microscope, inductively coupled plasma and infrared techniques. Furthermore, the catalyst could be easily recovered and reused up to 7 runs without loss of activity.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The use of plant extract is generating interest of researchers toward cost effective and eco-friendly green synthesis of nanoparticles. In the present work, Cupric oxide nanoparticles were synthesized using coffee powder extracts by the sol-gel method at different calcination temperatures. The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy , ultraviolet -visible spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The powder X-ray diffraction analysis revealed the formation of single-phase copper oxide with a monoclinic structure.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Organic pollutants are the largest kind of pollutants released into waters and wastewater from the some industry and industrial processes. Photocatalytic degradation is one of the significant and effective methods to remove the dyes and other organic pollutant from water and wastewater. This mini-review presents the application of zinc ferrites and ZnFe2O4-based composites in the photocatalytic degradation of organic dye. The zinc ferrite nanomaterials are obtained mainly by thermal methods, sol-gel, co-precipitation, and solid-state or hydrothermal route. Zinc Ferrites have good photocatalytic activity, but when exploited as composite photocatalysts, their photocatalytic efficiency were increased. AS a critical magnetic material, the ZnFe2O4 spinel structure has been proven to be useful in removal dye, ZnFe2O4 have photocatalytic activity under visible light irradiation. However, it is possible to improve the efficiency of photocatalysis activity of ZnFe2O4 by coupling it with another semiconductor or coupling it with carbon nanotubes and graphene, resulting in enhanced photocatalytic performance.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Heracleum is one of the greatest genera of the Umbelliferae family that has more than 120 species. This genus is represented by 109 species in Asia. Common names for the genus or its species include hogweed and cow parsnip. This paper discusses the phytochemistry, ethnopharmacological use and pharmaceutics of Heracleum species. Many kinds of metabolites have been isolated and identified, that furanocoumarins are among the significant ones. Modern pharmacological studies demonstrated that Heracleum and its active compounds have extensive biological activity, particularly in anticonvulsant, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, anticancer, anti-psoriatric, anti-vitiligo and antioxidant activities. In clinical test, Heracleum has successfully been utilized to treat psoriasis, vitiligo, carminative, stomachs, pain killer and anticonvulsant.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The purpose of this study is Acamprosate Calcium synthesis of 3-Aminopropane-1-sulfonic acid (Homotaurine) and validation of assay test in the delayed-release tablets by HPLC without organic solvents. The assay method by HPLC was found to be linear in the concentration range of 50 to 200 µg/mL. Successful separation was achieved by isocratic elution on a Phenomenex® C18 column (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5μm).The mobile phase was triethylammonium phosphate buffer pH: 4.0 (100%) at the flow rate of 1 mL/min using UV detection at 210 nm, column oven temperature 25ºC and injection volume 20 𝜇L. The analytical results were validated by recovery studies. The percentage recovery method was found to be 99.36-100.60%. The LOD and LOQ were found to 0.012 μg/mL and 0.042 μg/mL. All the parameters of validation were in the acceptance range. This developed method was successfully applied for estimate the amount of Acamprosate Calcium in the tablets.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Nanobody (Nb) or VHH is the smallest binding domain of camelid heavy chain antibody (HcAb). Light chains of HcAb naturally removed and because of some evolutionary changes, Nbs have unique properties rather than conventional antibodies. The size of Nb is about one-tenth (0.1) of whole antibodies and this size improved some problems of four chains antibodies such as high yield of expression in prokaryotic systems and penetration to tissues. Some other characterizes of Nb like close homology to human VH, high stability in the extended range of pH and temperature, the capability to the identification of unusual epitope is very attractive for research and development of new Nb candidates for diagnosis, research, and therapeutic applications. Discovery of Nb almost coincided with advancement in phage display technology that was used along with Hybridoma technology in monoclonal antibody development. Currently, many of research groups focused on high-quality Nbs development against different targets especially in cancers and fortunately there are many of Nbs in clinical trial stages for use in extended ranges of diseases such as cancers, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases and infectious diseases. Recently two of them were approved for clinical use. Big companies like Ablynx and Merck have been invested in this field and in future, further drugs base Nbs were approved in different areas of health science. In this review, we focused on production, features, and clinical application of Nbs and will be noted to Nbs in clinical trials.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Dates fruit has been used as staple food in the Middle East for thousands of years and various types of dates are found worldwide. Dates and their constituents show various roles in diseases prevention and treatment through anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial activity. In the present study we investigated the activity of aqueous and n-hexane extracts of Phoenix dactylifera L. fruit at various concentrations on A2780, A172 and HFFF2 cell lines proliferation by means of MTT (3-4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl-2, 5 diphenyl tetrazolium bromide) assay. Aqueous and n-hexane extracts of date showed activatory effects on the cell lines and increased cell proliferation in a dose dependent manner. It has been previously reported that dates fruit possesses anticancer and antimutagenic effects. These disagreements can be explained by differences in cell line properties, type of date fruits and different solvents in the extracts. However, further investigation is needed to clarify the exact role of date in cell proliferation and cancer. In addition, n-hexane extract acted more powerful than the aqueous extract in increasing the cell lines proliferation. Therefore, it can be concluded that the active components that are responsible for the activatory effects are present in the n-hexane extract.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Peganum harmala is a plant that is traditionally used as an analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-helmintic, and antimutagenic agent. Moreover, it is used to treat a variety of human ailments, including depression. This study was conducted to investigate the antidiabetic activity of hydro alcoholic extract of this herb. A hydro alcoholic extract from seeds of this herb was prepared and administered at three doses of 30, 60 and 120 mg/kg to three groups of streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats. Two additional groups were used as negative (normal saline plus solvent) and positive control (metformin). Blood glucose levels in animals from all groups were measured at 2, 4, and 6 hours after intraperitoneal injection of the extract to rats. Blood glucose levels decreased in the diabetic rats in comparison with normal rats (P < 0.05). Our finding showed that P. harmala seed extract has good antidiabetic activity in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats. Further studies need to isolate active compounds and to investigate their activity.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Objective(s): Methicillin-resistant coagulase-negative Staphylococci (MR-CoNS) are recognized as one of the major causes of healthcare-associated infections in hospitals. The present investigation aimed to study the prevalence of Staphylococcal cassette chromosome mec (SCCmec) types, along with aminoglycoside modifying enzymes (AMEs) genes in the nasal carriage of MR-CoNS in the north-west of Iran.
Materials and Methods: To assess the potential of coagulase-negative Staphylococci as hidden reservoirs for antibiotic resistance, we analyzed the antimicrobial susceptibility of MR-CoNS using the disk diffusion method. In addition, PCR and multiplex PCR assays were performed to determine the prevalence of AME encoding genes and SCCmec types in methicillin-resistant coagulase-negative Staphylococci isolates.
Results: A total of 51 MR-CoNS isolates were recovered from the anterior nares of healthcare workers. The observed resistance rates to tobramycin, gentamicin, cotrimoxazole, kanamycin, erythromycin, tetracycline, and ciprofloxacin were 74.5%, 68.5%, 57%, 53%, 51%, 49%, and 8%, respectively. Of the 51 tested MR-CoNS isolates, 2(4%) were harboring SCCmec type I, four (8%) were type II, six (12%) type III, eleven (21.6%) type IVa, two (4%) type IVb, two (4%) type IVc, six (12%) type IVd, and two (4%) type V. The rates of prevalence of the aminoglycoside modifying enzyme genes were as follows: aac (6′)/aph (2′′) (28 cases, 55 %), ant (4′)-Ia (20 cases, 39%), and the aph (3´)-IIIa gene (9 cases, 17.6 %).
Conclusion: Subtypes IVa and IVd were the most prevalent SCC elements, and aac (6′)/aph (2′′) was the most common AME gene detected among the MR-CoNS isolates.- انتشار مقاله: 15-02-1399
