- چکیده انگلیسی: There is no prospective study from Iran to estimate the direct risk of Neospora caninum for pregnancy loss or reproductive factors. In addition, there is no report in the literature concerning the association of N. caninum with dystocia and sex of calves. Therefore, this study was conducted on a group of dairy cows in a large intensive production system during 2011 to 2013 in southern Iran to evaluate the impact of neosporosis on reproductive performance. A total of 253 cows which were diagnosed as pregnant during the first six months of the study were followed until calving or abortion. Reproductive data were collected and N. caninum serostatus was determined using ELISA. To investigate the association of abortion with N. caninum,survival analysis was performed using Cox proportional hazard model. The N. caninum seroprevalence in the study group was 30.40% (95% CI: 27.40, 36.10). The overall abortion rate was 12.25%, significantly higher in seropositive animals (20.80%) than seronegative ones (8.50%). Results of Cox model showed that serostatus of animal for N. caninum and season had significant associations with abortion (p < 0.01). Neospora caninum did not show significant association with other factors such as dystocia and sex of calves. In conclusion, neosporosis is responsible for 12.00% excess abortion risk in infected group and more than 30.00% of abortions could be preventable by control of Neospora in study population. Therefore, control of N. caninum would reduce the economic losses caused by parasite mainly due to pregnancy loss.

- چکیده: در این مقاله ما رفتار نما های مقیاس معادله KPZ را با تغییر سه پارامتر آن بررسی می کنیم . به بیان دیگر مایلیم بدانیم نمای رشد و نمای زبری با تغییر تنش سطح ، سرعت متوسط و شدت نویز چه تغییری می کنند. با استفاده از شکل گسسته معادله KPZ ابتدا به نتایج β = 0.33 و α = 0.5 می رسیم ، سپس پارامتر ها را از 0 تا 3 تغییر می دهیم ، ملاحظه می شود که نما ها به آرامی تغییر می کنند . در بعضی حالت های حدی معادله KPZ به معادله های RD و RDSR تبدیل می شود . این در نمودار ها مشخص است . وقتی پارامتر ها تغییر می کنند و به حالت های حدی نزدیک می شوند کلاس جهانی معادله KPZ به رژیم های RD و RDSR تحول می یابد.
- چکیده انگلیسی: In this article we investigate the behaviour of the scaling exponents
of KPZ equation through changing three parameters of the equation. In
other words we would like to know how the growth exponent β and the
roughness exponent α will change if the surface tension ν , the average
velocity λ and the noise strength γ
change. Using the discrete form of the
equation , first we come to the results α = 0.5 and β = 0.33 , then we
change the parameters in the range of 0 to 3 by small amounts , we observe
that the exponents change smoothly. In some limit states KPZ equation
transforms to RD and RDSR equations. Fortunately this is obvious in
the figures. As the parameters change and approach the limit states, the

- چکیده: زمینه مطالعه: نژادهای مختلف حیوانات اغلب بواسطه خصوصیات ویژه آنها شناخته میشوند. با این حال در بسیاری از مطالعات انجام شده بر روی شتر یک کوهانه اثر نژاد در نظر گرفته نشده است. برخی تفاوتهای شاخص بین نژادهای شتر قابل تشخیص است که به دلیل اقلیم پرورش و نوع بهرهمندی از آنها میباشد.
هدف: مطالعه حاضر مقایسه شاخصهای آناتومیکی و پارامترهای بیوشیمیایی پلاسمای خون دو نژاد شتر یک کوهانه ایران، شتر جماز (مسابقهای) و بلوچی (دومنظوره) است.
روش کار: پارامترهای آناتومیکی شامل طول بدن (BL)، طول گردن (NL)، عمق سینه (CG)، عمق شکم از ناحیه کوهان (BG)، محیط کوهان (HC)، طول دستها (FLL)، طول پاها (HLL)، ارتفاع بدن از کوهان (HH)، فاصله دو دست (FLI)، فاصله دو پا (HLI)، محیط کف دست (FHC)، محیط کف پا (HHC)، دور شکم (AC)، دور ساق دست (SC) و دور ساق پا (LC) بودند. همچنین، غلظت گلوکر، نیتروژن اورهای خون (BUN)، کراتینین، کلسترول، بیلیروبین تام و مستقیم (Bili-T و Bili-D)، کلسیم (Ca)، فسفر (P)، منیزیم (Mg)، آسپارتات آمینو ترانسفراز (AST)، کراتین کیناز (CK)، لاکتات دهیدروژناز (LDH)، پروتئین تام (TP)، آلبومین (Alb)، تری یدوتیرونین (T3) و تیروکسین (T4) نیز به عنوان پارامترهای بیوشیمیایی پلاسما سنجیده شدند. آنالیز دادهها با استفاده از آزمون t-test انجام شد.
نتایج: نتایج نشان داد که اختلافات معنیداری بین صفات تیپ بدن در دو نژاد، بویژه اندامهای مرتبط با دویدن وجود دارد، بصورتیکه نژاد جمازه نسبت به نژاد بلوچی دارای قد کشیدهتر و دست و پای بلندتری میباشد. همچنین سطوح برخی پارامترهای بیوشیمیایی (گلوکز، لاکتات دهیدروژناز، نیتروژن اوره ای خون، کورتیزول و تیروکسین) بطور قابل توجهی در نژاد جمازه بالاتر است.
نتیجه گیری نهایی: نتایج مطالعه حاضر برخی پارامترهای آناتومیکی (بویژه طول دست و پاها، طول گردن و ارتفاع بدن از کوهان) و بیوشیمیایی (فعالیت آنزیم لاکتات دهیدروژناز، نیتروژن اورهای خون، گلوکز، کورتیزول و تیروکسین) را به عنوان شاخصهایی برای تمایز بین نژادهای مسابقهای و دومنظوره پیشنهاد میکند.- چکیده انگلیسی: BACKGROUND: Animal breeds are often recognized through their specific characteristics, nevertheless, the breeds' anatomical and biochemical characteristics have not considered yet in many of the researches done on one-humped camels. There are some particular differences in camel breeds due to different climate conditions and rearing necessity.
OBJECTIVES: The aim of the current study was to compare differences in anatomical and plasma biochem- ical parameters of two Iranian one-humped camels, the Jammaz (racing) and Balouchi (dual-purpose) breeds.
METHODS: Anatomical parameters were body length (BL), neck length (NL), chest girth (CG), barrel girth (BG), hump circumference (HC), fore limb length (FLL), hind limb length (HLL), height at hump (HH), fore limbs interval (FLI), hind limbs interval (HLI), fore hoof circumference (FHC), hind hoof circumference (HHC), abdominal circumference (AC), shank circumference (SC) and leg circumference (LC). Moreover, concentra- tions of Glucose, blood urea nitrogen (BUN), creatinine, cholesterol, total bilirubin (Bili-T), direct bilirubin (Bi- li-D), calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P), magnesium (Mg), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), creatine kinase (CK), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), total protein (TP), albumin (Alb), triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4) were measured as plasma biochemical parameters. Data analysis was conducted through t-test statistics.
RESULTS: Results revealed significant differences between body type traits of breeds, especially in organs related to running ability, while the Jammaz breed has more height and longer limbs than the Balouchi breed. Some blood parameters (glucose, LDH, BUN, cortisol and T4) are considerably higher in Jammaz breed, too.
CONCLUSIONS: Results of the current study suggest some anatomical (especially fore and hind limb lengths, neck length and body height at hump) and physiological characteristics (lactate dehydrogenase, blood urea nitrogen, cortisol, glucose and T4) of Iranian racing and dual purpose camels as breed markers.- انتشار مقاله: 07-05-1398

- چکیده: موسین نقش مهمی در حفاظت لایه» مخاطی مجاری گوارشی در برابر اسید معده، آنزیمهای گوارشی و پاتوژنها با ایجاد سطح لغزنده و تسهیل جذب مواد مغذی ایفا میکند. به نظر میرسد ترکیبات گیاهی در افزایش ترشح موسین نقش داشته باشند. هدف: این تحقیق بـه منـظـور بررسی تأثیر دو سطح بالا و پایین انرژی و پروتئین جیره به همراه مکمل گیاهان دارویی زردچوبه، آویشن و دارچین بر عملکرد جوجههای گوشتی و بیان ژن 2 mucin انجام گرفت. روش کار: هشت تیمار آزمایشی شامل جیره» غلیظ و رقیق بدون مکمل و به همراه g/kg5 مکمل گیاهان دارویی شامل زرچوبه، آویشن و دارچین بود. عملکرد جوجهها در طول دوره» پرورش ثبت شد و بیان ژن 2 mucin به روش Real Time PCR بررسی شد. نتایج: براساس نتایج تفاوت معنیداری در میزان خوراکی مصرفی، افزایش وزن روزانه و ضریب تبدیل خوراک در بین تیمارهای مختلف مشاهده نشد )05/0(p>. کاهش معنیداری در بیان ژن 2 mucin در جوجههای تغذیه شده با جیره» غلیظ مشاهده شد )05/0(p>، اگـرچـه افـزودن مکمـل گیـاهان دارویی به هر دو جیره» پایه (رقیق و غلیظ) بیان این ژن را در بافت روده» جوجهها افزایش داد )05/0(p>. نتیجهگیری نهایی: مواد مؤثر بر موجود در این گیاهان دارویی ممکن است از طریق افزایش فعالیت آنزیمهای دخیل در مسیر تولید موسین،بیان ژن 2 mucin را در روده افزایش میدهد. افزودن مکمل زردچوبه، آویشن و دارچین به جیره» جوجههای گوشتی میتواند با افزایش موسین،فرایند هضم خوراک و سیستم ایمنی پرنده را بهبود میبخشد.
- چکیده انگلیسی: The mucus layer plays an important role as an intermediate for the protection of the gut against acidic chyme, digestive enzymes, and pathogens; in addition, it acts as a lubricant and facilitator of nutrient transportation. Phytogenic compounds seem to promote intestinal mucus production. OBJECTIVES: The current study was conducted to investigate the effects of low and high levels of energy and amino acids in combination with turmeric, thyme, and cinnamon on chicken performance and expression of mucin 2 gene. METHODS: The eight experimental groups consisted of diluted and condensed diet with and without the addition of 5g/kg of each turmeric, thyme, and cinnamon to the diet. Chicken performance was recorded. Expression analysis of the mucin 2 gene was carried out by quantitative RT-PCR. RESULTS: Body weight gain, feed intake, FCR, and mortality rate were not affected by diets (p>0.05). A significant (p<0.05) reduction of the mucin 2 gene expression was observed in chickens fed by condensed diet; however, the expression increased by supplementation of turmeric, thyme, and cinnamon. CONCLUSIONS: These results, in addition to the function of herbs in increasing the activity of some enzymes which is possibly related to the mucin biological pathways, showed that the application of turmeric, thyme, and cinnamon could be useful in poultry diets. It appears that supplementation of turmeric, thyme, and cinnamon could increase mucin 2 gene expression in the small intestine, and this can improve intestinal digestive function and defense.

We take advantage from corrected entropy and temperature and investigate such black hole. Finally, we study the $ P - V $ critically and phase transition of corrected black hole with respect to entropy and temperature. Here also, we obtain the heat capacity for the static black hole in $ f(R) $ gravity. This calculation help us to investigate some singularity.
We have shown that the corrections exist for any black hole, but they are important for a small black holes and negligible for the large black holes. The advantage of a static black hole in $ f(R) $ gravity is its holographic picture, which is a van der Waals fluid. Then, We have shown that in the presence of corrections there is still a van der Waals fluid as a dual picture.
The critical values of event horizon radius for phase transitions are shown due to the corrections of entropy and temperature.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Objective(s): Growing evidence demonstrates that L-arginine/NO/cGMP/KATP channel pathway has a modulatory role in pain perception. Previous studies have shown that thymoquinone exerts antinociceptive effects; however, the mechanisms underlying antinociception induced by thymoquinone have not been fully clarified. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the role of L-arginine/NO/cGMP/KATP channel pathway in the central and peripheral antinociceptive effect of thymoquinone in rats.
Materials and Methods: Rats were pretreated intraplantarly (IPL) or intracerebroventricularly (ICV) with L-arginine (the NO precursor), l-NAME (an NO synthase inhibitor), SNAP (an NO donor), methylene blue (a guanylyl cyclase inhibitor), glibenclamide (the blocker of KATP channel), and tetraethylammonium (TEA, a Kv channel blocker) before the injection of thymoquinone.
Results: Local ipsilateral (20 and 40 μg, IPL) but not contralateral and ICV (4 and 8 μg) administration of thymoquinone caused a dose-dependent and significant antinociception in both early and late phases of the formalin test. Pretreatment of rats with L-arginine (100 μg, IPL or ICV) and SNAP (200 μg, IPL or ICV) increased while l-NAME (100 μg, IPL or 1 μg, ICV) and methylene blue (400 μg, IPL or ICV) decreased the antinociceptive effects of thymoquinone in the formalin test. The administration of TEA (IPL or ICV) did not modify but glibenclamide (50 μg, IPL or ICV) significantly abolished the peripheral and central antinociceptive effects of thymoquinone in both phases of the formalin test.
Conclusion: The results of the present study indicate that L-arginine/NO/cGMP/KATP channel pathway participates in the central and peripheral antinociceptive effect of thymoquinone.- انتشار مقاله: 21-06-1396

- چکیده انگلیسی: Objective(s):Dependence and tolerance to opioid analgesics are major problems limiting their clinical application. a-Terpineol is a monoterpenoid alcohol with neuroprotective effects which is found in several medicinal plants such as Myrtus communis, Laurus nobilis, and Stachys byzantina. It has been shown that some of these medicinal plants such as S. byzantina attenuate dependence and tolerance to morphine. Since a-terpineol is one of the bioactive phytochemical constituent of these medicinal plants, the present study was conducted to investigate the effects of a-terpineol on morphine-induced dependence and tolerance in mice.
Materials and Methods: The mice were rendered dependent or tolerant to morphine by a 3-day administration schedule. The hot-plate test and naloxone-induced withdrawal syndrome were used to evaluate tolerance and dependence on morphine, respectively. To investigate a possible role for nitric oxide (NO) in the protective effect of a-terpineol, the NO synthase inhibitor, L-N(G)-nitroarginine methyl ester (L-NAME) and NO precursor, L-arginine, were used.
Results: Administration of a-terpineol (5, 10, and 20 mg/kg, IP) significantly decreased the number of jumps in morphine dependent animals. Moreover, a-terpineol (20 and 40 mg/kg, IP) attenuated tolerance to the analgesic effect of morphine. The inhibitory effects of a-terpineol on morphine-induced dependence and tolerance were enhanced by pretreatment with L-NAME (10 mg/kg, IP). However, L-arginine (300 mg/kg, IP) antagonized the protective effects of a-terpineol on dependence and tolerance to morphine.
Conclusion: These findings indicate that a-terpineol prevents the development of dependence and tolerance to morphine probably through the influence on NO production.- انتشار مقاله: 09-12-1394

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Milk proteins genes have been the focus of the researches as the candidate target genes that play a decisive role when animal breeding is desired.
Objectives: In the present study, the transcriptional levels of Beta-lactoglobulin (BLG) and Alpha S1 casein (CSN1S1) genes were investigated during prenatal, milking and drying times in mammary glands of the Adani goats which showed high and low breeding values.
Materials and Methods: The breeding values of the animals were estimated first by applying multi-trait random regression model. Using the biopsy gun, the mammary gland samples were taken and real-time PCR was applied to search the expression of the genes. Fixed factors of the model were the breeding value groups, sampling times and their interactions.
Results: The interactions were significant for both genes. At milking time, the high breeding value group exhibited more transcriptional levels for BLG and less transcriptional levels for CSN1S1 gene compared with the low breeding value group. The expression patterns of these genes were also different between the two breeding value groups. The maximum level of BLG and CSN1S1 transcriptions were found to occur at drying time.
Conclusions: A difference in the gene expression was observed between the two groups which indicate the change in the nucleotide sequence for transcription factor binding sites, or miRNA binding sites, otherwise in the coding regions. Therefore, the variations in the coding and promoter regions of this gene should be investigated in the further studies.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Finding repetitive subsequences in genome is a challengeable problem in bioinformatics research area. A lot of approaches have been proposed to solve the problem, which could be divided to library base and de novo methods. The library base methods use predetermined repetitive genome’s subsequences, where library-less methods attempt to discover repetitive subsequences by analytical approaches. In this article we propose novel de novo methodology which stands on theory of pattern recognition’s science. Our methodology by using Support Vector Machine (SVM) classification and clustering methods could extract exact and Solo LTR-retrotransposons. This methodology issued to show complexity efficiency and applicability of the pattern recognition theories in bioinformatics and biomathematics research areas.We demonstrate applicability of our methodology by comparing its results with other well-known de novo method. Both applications return classes of discovered repetitive subsequences, were their results when had applied on show more that 90 percents similarities.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Bioinformatics, through the sequencing of the full genomes for many species, is increasingly relying on efficient global alignment tools exhibiting both high sensitivity and specificity. Many computational algorithms have been applied for solving the sequence alignment problem. Dynamic programming, statistical methods, approximation and heuristic algorithms are the most common methods applied to this problem. We introduce gpALIGNER, a fast pairwise DNA-DNA global alignment algorithm. gpALIGNER uses similar score schema with DIALIGN-T to produce the final alignment. It also uses the concept of “spaced seeds” to determine locally aligned subsequences which construct semi-global alignment as the preliminaries of global alignment computation. This enables gpALIGNER to have the precision provided by the DIALIGN-T algorithm in considerably less time and space complexities. We performed benchmarking of our approach based on numerous datasets from standard benchmarking databases and real sequences of NCBI database where gpALIGNER performed three times faster than DIALIGN-T. gpALIGNER is a new alternative for having sensitivity and selectivity of DIALIGN-T but with less computational cost.
