- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction: Determination of type and location of trapped objects and endoscopic observations among children with foreign-body ingestion.
Materials and Methods: We evaluated 105 endoscopic records of patients presenting with foreign-body ingestion from 2001–2011.
Results: Button batteries were the most common objects removed (41%). The lower segment of the esophagus was the most common trapping site. There was significant correlation between type of foreign body and its location of trapping. Abnormal endoscopic observations were reported in 33% patients. There was significant correlation between the type of foreign body and endoscopic observations. There was also a significant correlation between the location of the foreign body and endoscopic observation.
Conclusion: The pattern of foreign-body ingestion is somewhat different in our center compared with other studies. Awareness among parents about the prevention of this accident is an important step in decreasing the incidence of foreign-body ingestion.- انتشار مقاله: 23-09-1392

- چکیده انگلیسی: Objective(s): Experimental myocardial infarction triggers secretion of Stromal cell-derived factor1 and lead to increase in the expression of its receptor "CXCR4" on the surface of various cells. The aim of this study was to evaluate the expression pattern of CXCR4 in peripheral blood cells following time-course permanent and temporary ischemia in rats.
Materials and Methods: Fourteen male Wistar rats were divided into two groups of seven and were placed under permanent and transient ischemia. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells were isolated at different time points, RNAs extracted and applied to qRT-PCR analysis of the CXCR4 gene.
Results: Based on repeated measures analysis of variance, the differences in the expression levels of the gene in each of the groups were statistically significant over time (the effect of time) (P-value< 0.001). Additionally, the difference in gene expression between the two groups was statistically significant (the effect of group), such that at all times, the expression levels of the gene were significantly higher in the permanent ischemia than in the transient ischemia group (P-value<0.001). Moreover, the interactive effect of time-group on gene expression was statistically significant (P-value<0.001).
Conclusion: CXCR4 is modulated in an induced ischemia context implying a possible association with myocardial infarction. Checking of CXCR4 expression in the ischemic changes shows that damage to the heart tissue trigger the secretion of inflammatory chemokine SDF, Followed by it CXCR4 expression in blood cells. These observations suggest that changes in the expression of CXCR4 may be considered a valuable marker for monitoring myocardial infarction.- انتشار مقاله: 13-03-1396

- چکیده انگلیسی: An environmentally benign procedure for the synthesis of vicinal nitrohydrins via the regioselective ring opening reaction of epoxides with nitrite anion using silica-bound 3-{2-[poly(ethylene glycol)]ethyl}-substituted 1-methyl-1H-imidazol-3-ium bromide as an effective heterogeneous phase transfer catalyst was described. Short reaction time, high yield of products, simple work-up procedure, and recyclability of the catalyst were some of the striking features of the present protocol. The recovered catalyst could be reused five times without any loss in its catalytic activity and selectivity.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Regarding the green chemistry's goals, dicationic magnetic room temperature ionic liquid open up new avenue to introduce an amazing and efficient system for facilitating catalyst recovery in different organic reactions. Ability of this dicationic magnetic room temperature ionic liquid catalyst in the one-pot three-components condensation reaction of benzil, aromatic aldehyde, and ammonium acetatate are also described. Utilization of easy reaction conditions, catalyst with high catalytic activity and good reusability, and simple magnetically work-up, makes this methodology as an interesting option for the synthesis of 2,4,5-trisubstituted imidazoles.

- چکیده انگلیسی: We report here an efficient and green method for fused Biginelli condensation reaction of aldehydes, cyclopentanone, and urea catalyzed by nano ZrO2-SO3H under solvent-free conditions. The prospect of the reusability of this catalyst has also been demonstrated without compromising on the yield of the product. On the whole, the protocol presented here is an excellent alternative to many of the previously reported procedures. So, Optimized molecular structures have been investigated by DFT/B3LYP method with 6-31G (d,p) basis set. Stability of some 4-aryl-7-benzylidene-1,3,4,5,6,7-hexahydro-4-phenyl-2H-cyclopenta[d]pyrimidin-2-one (2 a-j) derivatives and intramolecular interactions bond has been analyzed by using natural bond orbital (NBO) analysis.

- چکیده انگلیسی: By the immobilization of bipyridinium chloride onto mesoporous MCM-41encapsulated Fe3O4 nanoparticles via a simple post-synthesis method, a totally new organic-inorganic hybrid nanocomposite was formulated. The heterogeneous hybrid nanomagnetic composite was characterized by Fourier Transform InfraRed (FT-IR), X-Ray powder Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM), Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) and Thermal Gravimetric Analytical (TGA). The potential applications of this novel nanomagnetic and recyclable basic nanocomposite, Fe3O4@MCM-Bp , were also investigated for solvent-free synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridine, polyhydroquinoline, and polyhydroacridine derivatives via Hantzsch multicomponent condensation reaction. High isolated yields, operational simplicity, clean reaction conditions and minimum pollution of the environment, makes the procedure a useful and appealing process in organic transformation.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this study, β-cyclodextrin(β-CD) supported, hydroxyapatite encapsulated γ-Fe2O3 (γ-Fe2O3@HAp@β-CD) was successfully prepared and evaluated as a solid-liquid phase transfer catalyst and also a molecular host system and nanoreactor for the nucleophilic ring-opening of epoxides in water for the preparation of β-azido alcohols, β-nitro alcohols, and β-cyanohydrins. The catalyst was characterized by FT-IR, XRD, TGA, and SEM. This procedure offers several advantages including excellent regioselectivity, high yields, short reaction times, recyclable catalyst, easy separation of the catalyst through external magnet, and easy work-up.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Ordered Mesoporous Carbon (OMC) represents an interesting material for electric double layer capacitors which has the high surface area, easily accessed ordered pore channels and lower production cost. In this work, CMK-3 as promising OMC has been fabricated using the ordered mesoporous silica SBA-15 as a template. The structure and morphology of CMK-3 are characterized by X-ray diffraction, nitrogen adsorption/desorption, and scanning electron microscopy. CMK-3 is sprayed on the surface of highly conductive three-dimensional nickel foam and characterized as an electrode for electric double layer capacitors. When this electrode is soaked in a neutral aqueous electrolyte solution, reaches a specific capacitance as high as 285 and 167 F/g, at a current density of 10 and 34 A/g, respectively. CMK-3 shows excellent long-term stability with >90% capacitance retention after 10000 cycles, as well as high power (37 kW/kg) and energy density (98 Wh/kg).

- چکیده انگلیسی: Polyethylene glycol was easily grafted to silica gel and used as a solid–liquid phase transfer catalyst in the reduction of aromatic nitro compounds. This silica-grafted polyethylene glycol is proved to be an efficient heterogeneous catalyst in the reduction of nitroarenes to the corresponding aromatic amines with zinc powder in water. The reduction reactions proceeded efficiently with excellent chemoselectivity without affecting other sensitive functional groups.
