- چکیده انگلیسی: Two new mercury(II) Schiff base complexes [Hg((2,6-Cl-ba)2-1,2-pn)X2] (X = Cl (1), I (2) and (2,6-Cl-ba)2-1,2-pn = N,N'-bis(2,6-dichlorobenzylidene)-1,2-diaminopropane) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis (CHN), FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy. The crystal structure of complexes 1 and 2 were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. X-ray results shown that the mercury(II) ions in these complexes have a distorted tetrahedral geometry with HgN2Cl2 and HgN2I2 chromophores, respectively. In these complexes, the Schiff base ligand (2,6-Cl-ba)2-1,2-pn act as chelating bidentate ligand, coordinating via the two iminic nitrogen atoms and it adopts an E,E conformation. Finally, the thermal behavior of complexes was study using thermogravimetry in order to evaluate their thermal stability and thermal decomposition pathway.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptors (PPARs) are nuclear receptors of transcription factors composed of three family members: PPARα, PPARβ/δ and PPARγ. This study was aimed to evaluate the role of PPARs in the estradiol production via follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) in the ovine Sertoli cells. At the first step, transcripts of PPARα, PPARβ /δ and PPARγ were evaluated by quantitative real time PCR (qRT-PCR) in the ovine Sertoli cells in vitro after FSH treatment. PPARγ transcript was increased in FSH-treated cells while PPARα and PPAR β /δ transcripts were unchanged. At the second step, Pioglitazone as PPARγ agonist and 2-chloro-5-nitrobenzanilide (GW9662) as PPARγ antagonist were used in the FSH-treated Sertoli cells and then, the estradiol production and aromatase transcript were evaluated. Aromatase transcript was increased by pioglitazone in the FSH-treated Sertoli cells while GW9662 did not change its transcript. The estradiol production was increased by low concentrations of pioglitazone in FSH-treated Sertoli cells while the production of this hormone was decreased by the high concentration of Pioglitazone. The GW9662 did not change the production of estradiol in FSH-treated Sertoli cells. It is concluded that FSH regulates the estradiol production and aromatase expression in a way independently of PPARβ/δ and PPARα activation, although FSH increases the transcript of PPARγ and in this way, it could affect (mostly increase) aromatase transcript and estradiol production. Probably, this effect of FSH in the estradiol production via PPARγ is only a servo-assist mechanism which if it was inhibited, the estradiol production was not considerably affected.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Ovariectomy (OVE) is a routine surgical procedure for neutering in small animal practice. Laparoscopy is a new surgical technique which contains advantages such as less trauma, smaller incision and excellent visualization than traditional open surgery. The present study was conducted to examine the feasibility and safety of laparoscopic procedure through two portal comparing with the conventional open surgery for OVE in healthy female bitches (n=16). Dogs were divided in two equal groups. In laparoscopic group, two 5 and 10 mm portals were inserted; First in the umbilicus for introducing the camera and the second, caudal to the umbilicus for inserting the forceps. Laparoscopic procedure involved grasping and tacking the ovary to the abdominal wall, followed by electrocautery, resection and removal of the ovary. In open surgery, routine OVE was conducted through an incision from umbilicus to caudal midline. Mean operative time, total length of scar, blood loss, clinical and blood parameters and all intra and post-operative complications were recorded in both groups. Mean operative time, total length of scar, blood loss and post-operative adhesions were significantly less in laparoscopic group compared with open surgery. In conclusion, laparoscopic OVE is an acceptable procedure due to more advantages in comparison with traditional OVE.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Objective(s): In this study, a new copper precursor was prepared from the combination of Cu(CH3COO)2∙H2O (1 g in 5 ml of methanol) and benzoic acid (1 g in 5 ml of methanol) at room temperature. Following that, the copper precursor was calcined at the temperature of 500ºC and 600ºC for 1.5 hours to form CuO/Cu2O nanocomposites with the code numbers of CuO-1 and CuO-2, respectively.
Materials and Methods: The prepared CuO/Cu2O nanocomposites were characterized by Fourier Transform infrared (FT-IR), UV-Vis, and photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).
Results: The results of the FT-IR and XRD techniques confirmed the formation of the CuO/Cu2O nanocomposites. In the UV-Vis of CuO/Cu2O nanocomposites, two peaks were observed at approximately 216 and 277 nanometers, which were assigned to the direct transition of electrons and surface plasmon resonance. In addition, the TEM images indicated that the CuO/Cu2O nanocomposites had diverse shapes with high agglomeration. The antibacterial results also showed that the inhibitory effects of the prepared CuO/Cu2O nanocomposites (CuO-1 and CuO-2) were more significant against the two gram negative strains compared to the two gram positive strains.- انتشار مقاله: 30-02-1399

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this paper, single crystalline octahedral Co3O4 with dimensions about 100–500 nm and smooth surface has been prepared by solid-state thermal decomposition of cobalt(II) Schiff base complex Co((3,4-MeO-ba)2 en)Cl2 as new precursor at 450ºC under air atmosphere for 3.5 h. Surface morphology of the products were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this study, Ni/NiO nanocomposites were prepared using simple, environment-friendly and low-cost solid-state thermal decomposition method from nickel (II) Schiff base complex at 400 and 500°C for 3 hours. The Ni/NiO nanocomposites were characterized with Fourier transformed infra-red spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-Ray fluorescence (XRF). Results of XRD and XRF confirmed that the nanocomposite products contain a mixture of nickel and nickel oxide. The Ni or NiO content varied with the temperature used for the synthesis. Upon increasing the temperature from 400 to 500°C, the amount of NiO was found to be increased due to a complete oxidation of Ni to NiO. The TEM images demonstrated that the composites were spherical with a distribution size of about 10-30 nm. In addition, the products displayed reasonable electrochemical performance.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this paper, we have focused on the preparation and characterization of copper oxide nanoparticles by solid state thermal decomposition of copper(I) iodide in the presence of thiosemicarbazone ligands without the need for a catalyst, employing toxic solvent, template or surfactant and complicated equipment, which makes it efficient, one-step, simple and environment-friendly. CuO nanoparticles were achieved at 600 ˚C for 3 h as black products and characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The FT-IR spectra of black powders prepared show absorption maxima at ≈ 525 cm-1 which are due to Cu-O stretching mode. Also, all the X-ray diffraction peaks could be readily assigned to those of crystalline CuO. The absence of any residual ligand traces or other phases in the FT-IR spectra and XRD patterns confirmed the preparation of high purity and single phase copper oxide nanoparticles. The TEM images show that the synthesized copper oxide nanoparticles are of plate like shape with average diameters of 10 – 20 nm. On the basis of the above results, the use of thiosemicarbazone ligands at the presence of suitable transition metal ions is potentially capable of forming other transition metal oxide nanoparticles by solid state thermal decomposition.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this paper, two double helical dinuclear copper(II) complexes of bis-N,O-bidentate Schiff base ligands bis(3-methoxy-N-salicylidene-4,4'-diaminodiphenyl)sulfone (L1) and bis(5-bromo-N-salicylidene-4,4'-diaminodiphenyl)sulfone (L2) were prepared and characterized by elemental analyses (CHN), as well as thermal analysis. Elemental analyses (CHN) suggested that the reaction between ligands and copper salt has been occurred in 1:1 molar ratio. In these complexes the Schiff base ligands behaves as an anionic and bis-bidentate chelate and is coordinated to the copper(II) ion via two phenolic oxygen and two iminic nitrogen atoms. In these double helical dinuclear complexes, each copper(II) center has a pseudo-tetrahedral coordination sphere two-wrapped ligands. Thermal analysis of ligands and their complexes were studied in the range of room temperature to 750 °C with a heating rate of 10 °C min-1. TG plots show that the ligands and their complexes are thermally decomposed via 2 and 3 thermal steps, respectively. In addition, the complexes thermally decomposed in air at 520 °C for 3 h. The obtained solids characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). - چکیده: گلایول متعلق به تیره زنبق از مهمترین گلهای شاخه بریده و پیازی جهان است. این پژوهش با هدف تولید ژنوتیپهای جدید گلایول از طریق دورگگیری در بین ارقام گلایول انجام شد. این تحقیق در قالب طرح بلوکهای کامل تصادفی در سه تکرار در پژوهشکده گل و گیاهان زینتی در سال 97-95 انجام شد. نتایج تجزیه واریانس صفات بین نتاج (هیبریدها) نشان داد که اختلاف نتاج مورد نظر برای تمام صفات مورد مطالعه در سطح احتمال یک درصد معنیدار بود، که بیانگر وجود تنوع گسترده برای همه صفات در نتاج مشاهده میشود. نتاج NIOP09 و OPRC07 از تلاقی‘Red Advance’ با ‘White Prosperity’ تفاوت معنیداری از نظر وزن پداژک در مقایسه با سایر نتاج داشتند. بیشترین ضریب تنوع فنوتیپی در صفت تعداد پداژک به میزان 17/57 و کمترین در صفت تعداد روز تا جوانهزنی بذر به میزان 15/11 درصد بهدست آمد. بیشترین قابلیت توارث عمومی صفات تعداد پداژک و قطر پداژک بهترتیب برابر با 46/98 و 46/95 درصد و کمترین آن برای صفت قطر طوقه به میزان 90/12 درصد برآورد شد. ضرایب همبستگی صفات بین نتاجهای مختلف نشان میدهدکه بیشترین همبستگی مثبت و معنیدار مربوط به تعداد برگ با قطر طوقه (93/0+ = r) و کمترین میزان همبستگی هم بین تعداد روز تا جوانهزنی با تعداد پداژک (17/0 = r) بود.
- چکیده انگلیسی: The research aimed to produce new genotypes by hybridization. It was conducted in the Ornamental Plants Research Center of Mahallat from 2016 to 2018. Four varieties of gladiolus including ‘Amsterdam’, ‘White Prosperity’, ‘Advance Red’ and ‘Rose Supreme’ were chosen for hybridization. The progenies were evaluated in a randomized complete block design with three replications. The highest heritability in traits was estimated to be 98.46% for cormlet number and diameter and the lowest was 12.90% for crown diameter. These results indicate that most traits have a very low phenotypic and genetic diversity coefficient, indicating that they had lower environmental effects since the progenies were cultivated under similar and controlled conditions. The results of the factor analysis, based on the eight assessed traits, showed that the four factors accounted for 60.90% of the total variance. The first factor captured 22.80% of the variance and among its traits, crown diameter and leaf number had the highest positive coefficients. The progenies OPRC07 and OPRC09 derived from ‘Advance Red’ × ‘White Prosperity’ and ‘Amsterdam’ × ‘Advance Red’ had a significant difference with others and had the highest cormlet weight compared to the progenies tested. The progeny OPRC09 was superior to other cormlets in leaf length, leaf width, stem diameter, leaf number, days to germination, and cormlet weight and diameter. Also, the progeny OPRC04 was superior in cormlet production by producing 2.49 cormlets per seed.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this research study, two Schiff base compounds AP-DHPDB (1) synthesized from the reaction of 2-aminophenol (AP) with 3, 3ʹ-dihydroxy-4, 4ʹ-(propane-1, 2-dieloxy)-dibenzaldehyde (DHPDB) and FA-DHEDB (2) synthesized from the reaction of furfuryl amine (FA) with 3, 3ʹ-dihydroxy-4, 4ʹ-(ethane-1, 2-dieloxy)-dibenzaldehyde (DHEDB) by reflux in methanol as solvent for 2 h. Suitable crystals of 1 and 2 get by slow evaporation of solvent after few days and characterized by elemental analysis. Crystal structures of the title compounds 1 and 2 were determined using the single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The title compounds 1 and 2 were found to be in monoclinic and orthorhombic with the space group of C2/c and Pnca, respectively. The unit cell parameter of 1 were a=29/8994(10), b=4.86618(7), c=21.7214(4) Å, b=124.4901(17)° and V=2604.85(12) Å3, and the unit cell parameter of 2 were a=22/3513(7), b=26.0250(7), c=4.6681(9) Å and V=2715(12) Å3. The C-N bond distances around the iminic nitrogen of compound 1 are 1.418 and 1.268 Å, and in compound 2 are 1.467 and 1.269 Å, indicated the single and double bonds, respectively. Also, the bond angles around the iminic nitrogen are distorted from 120° corresponding to sp2 hybrid (N1-C7-C8 = 122.5° and C6-N1-C7 = 119.3° for 1 and N7-C8-C9 = 123.9° and C6-N7-C8 = 116.12° for 2).
