- چکیده انگلیسی: Background : Nowadays, E-learning is considered as a hot topic in higher education. This study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of virtual training of Islamic culture and civilization course on attitude, learning, and satisfaction of students in University of Medical Sciences in Tehran. Methods : In this quasi-experimental study with two groups, we studied 107 students who took the Islamic culture and civilization course in the second semester of academic year in 2014 - 2015. 50.47% of them were Medical students (19.62% face to face, 30.84% virtual) and 49.53% of them were nursing students (21.50% face to face, 28.04% virtual). In the intervention group, 63 students received virtual training using university education system, and in the control group, 44 students received face to face training. In both of the groups, the degree of learning was examined using a written test. A questionnaire was used in order to investigate satisfaction with the teaching method and attitude. The reliability of the researcher- made attitude measurement questionnaire was confirmed using Cronbach’s alpha (0.89) and its validity was confirmed through content validity. The Data was analyzed using SPSS software, version 16 and using T-tests. The significance level was set at 0.05. Results : The results showed that the two groups had a significant difference in terms of attitude (P < 0.001). The students were also more satisfied with the virtual training (P < 0.006). The rate of learning between the students of virtual and face to face training groups didn’t show any significant difference (P < 0.199). Conclusions : Students were more satisfied with the virtual training method and they had a positive attitude towards the virtual training, but the rate of learning was similar in both of the methods. Therefore, it is recommended to use the virtual training courses as complementary courses in the face to face training methods.

Copper oxidenanoparticles have different industrial applications so it is inevitable that nanoparticulate products finally find their way into aquatic ecosystems. Nevertheless there is little information available about their effects on some of edible fish. The present study aims to determine the acute toxicity and evaluate the effect of two sub-acute concentrations (50 and 70% 96 h LC50) of CuO-NPs on some hematological and biochemical parameters of R. rutilus.
Materials and Methods:
225 healthy specimen of R. rutilus (mean weight 5.52±1.2 g; mean length 6.20±0.2 cm) were transported to the laboratory. In order to prepare the stock solution, CuO-NPs was dispersed in pure water with ultrasonication (50-60 kHz) for 15 min every day before dosing. At first, R. rutilus was exposed to CuO-NPs to determine the lethal concentration (LC50) value. Following acute test, fish were treated with sub-acute concentrations of CuO-NPs (50 and 70% 96 h-LC50 at) with one control group (no CuO-NPs) for a week to determine the changes in the level of some plasma hematological and biochemical parameters.
Results:
The 96 h-LC50 values of CuO-NPs was 2.19±0.003 mg/l. R. rutilus exhibited significantly lower RBC count, Hb and Hct values and a significant increase in the WBC numbers, MCH, MCHC and MCV indices (p<0.05). Low glucose and higher cortisol content in plasma were observed in the fish exposed to CuO nanoparticles than those in control group (p<0.05).
Conclusion:
These alterations indicate R. rutilus sensitivity to CuO-NPs and changes in blood parameters would be a useful tool for measurement early exposure to CuO nanoparticles.- انتشار مقاله: 31-03-1394

This study aimed to determine the possible toxicity of Cuo nanoparticles (NPs) on Oncorhynchus mykiss by evaluating hematological parameters.
Materials and Methods:
Fish were sampled and treated in 4 aquariums containing the concentration ranges of 1, 5, 20 and 100 ppm of CuO NPs. There was one control group (no CuO NPs) and three replicates. The physicochemical properties of water were as follows: the temperature was 22±2 Cº, oxygen saturation was 90.9±0.2%, pH was at 7±0.004 and the concentration of CaCO3 was 270.
Results:
No mortality was observed after 96 hours of exposure. The analysis of hematological parameters showed that CuO NPs affected the counts of white blood cells, lymphocytes, eosinophils, neutrophils, hematocrits, MCH, MCHC and MCV and did not have any effects on monocytes and hemoglobins.
Conclusion:

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this research, process asymmetric polyetherimide hollow fiber membranes using ethanol (0, 2 and 4 wt%) as non-solvent additive in the polymer dope via phase inversion method were fabricated. Aqueous solution of 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidine (NMP) (90%) was applied as a bore fluid to avoid inner skin layer formation and water was used as the external coagulant. The morphology of fabricated membranes was examined using field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM). A gas permeation test was conducted using Nitrogen. Fabricated membranes were characterized in terms of pore size, critical water entry pressure, water contact angle and collapsing pressure. The performance of fabricated membranes for carbon dioxide stripping from monoethanolamine solution using a gas - liquid membrane contactor system was studied. The results showed that carbon dioxide stripping flux and efficiency increased by increasing liquid velocity. Also, enhancement of stripping flux by increasing gas velocity was negligible. By increasing MEA solution temperature, stripping flux increased; therefore, liquid phase temperature is a key parameter which needs to be controlled.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Estimation of length at maturation and spawning time and determination of fishing prohibition time and optimum length for catch are of important information about a fish species. Seasonal samplings were conducted over a year to study population dynamic of Carasobarbus luteus in Shadegan wetland. Samples were collected from five sampling stations in Shadegan wetland (Salmane, Rogabe, Khoroosi, Mahshahr and Atish) from April to March, 2014-2015. From total number of 1600 samples, 269 individuals were male and 1331 individuals were female. Length-weight relationships were W=0.0136L3.0124 (R2=0.92) for males; W=0.0136L3.0117 (R2=0.91) for females, showing isometric growth pattern. Condition factor (K) was calculated to be 1.308±0.15 and 1.368±0.17 for the males and females, respectively, showing significant difference between the genders (P<0.05). Overall, K coefficients of the males were lower than those of the females, which the highest and lowest values were related to winter and spring, respectively. Also, the results show that this species spawns in April-July with a long spawning period and sexual dormant period in autumn to early winter. Length at maturation was 152, 139 and 150 mm for males, females and whole specimens; whereas, weight of matured fish was 42 and 100 g for the males and females, respectively. Growth indices including L∞, growth coefficient and t0 was 305 and 301 mm, 0.67 and 0.55 per year and 0.23 and 0.29 for the males and females, respectively. Natural mortality, fishing mortality, total mortality, Munro Ф' and coefficient of exploitation was 1.22 and 1.02 per year, 1.61 and 1.45 per year, 2.83 and 2.47 per year, 2.79 and 2.72, and 1.61 and 1.45 per year respectively for the males and females. Von-Bertalanffy equation for the males and females was Lt =305(1- exp (-0.67(t +0.23))) and Lt =310(1- exp (-0.55(t +0.29))).

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this study, the anesthetic effects of 2-phenoxyethanol (2-PE) on possible primary (cortisol level) and secondary (haematological indices and glucose level) stress responses were studied in silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix). Fish were first exposed to 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7 and 0.9 mL/L 2-PE, also the time to induction (deep anesthesia) and recovery were measured. At concentrations of 0.5, 0.7 and 0.9 mL/L, all fish were anaesthetized within 3 min of exposure. For assessing possible stress effects caused by effective concentrations of 2-PE, the haematological indices, serum cortisol and glucose were determined in the deeply anaesthetized fish as stress indicators. 2-PE exposure resulted in a significant increase in red blood cell (RBC) amounts at 0.1 and 0.3 mL/L. It was observed a parallel increase in hemoglobin and Haematocrite amounts at 0.1 concentrations (P < 0.05). The serum cortisol levels had the highest amount in 0.1 mL/L of 2-PE. Moreover 2-PE exposure resulted in a significant increase in glucose amounts at the first 0.1 then 0.3 mL/L concentrations. This study shows that rapid induction of deep anesthesia with a relatively high concentration of 2-PE (0.5, 0.7 and 0.9 mL/L) was connected with the lowest effects on the haematological and serum biochemical indices in silver carp and so 0.7 mL/L could be suggested as suitable doses for haematological studies in this species.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The experiment was carried out in one year on blood sexual hormones in 74 four-years old beluga sturgeon Huso huso held in 8 round cement tanks in brackish water with salinity of about 13.5 ppt. Fishes were biopsied at the beginning of the experiment in order to determine the sexuality and gonadic stage. Blood sampling was performed in caudal veins three times during experiment in fall, winter and spring seasons.Testosterone (T), Esteradiol (E2) and Progesterone (P) were measured by Radio Immune Assay (RIA) method. Test of profile was done in duplicate. Statistical results showed a significant elevation (p < /em> > 0.05) on measured factors in both sexes, especially in males.In males, testosterone (T) depends on gonadic stage had significant elevation; but in females, there was no significant increase (p < /em> > 0.05) in estradiol (E2) and progesterone (P) which probably resulted from their ages. In males, T level in stages II, II-III, III, IV, were 5.5, 4.4, 6.3, 2.6 ng/ml, respectively.The result indicated that the amount of T increased by development of gonads until III stage, then suddenly decreased in stage IV. Quantities of P and E2 were measured only in females.Amounts of P and E2 in stages of II, II-III, were 0.12, 0.13 and 1.455, 0.81 ng/ml, respectively, suggesting the increase of P and decrease of E2 were associated with gonad progress. According to the results, it was demonstrated that sexual hormones were affected by season, environmental conditions and gonadal stages.Therefore, inland underground brackish water as a new medium culture was effective in reduction maturity time in beluga.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Urgent is growing to have reliable information from the country's water resources. In recent years, data mining models such as artificial neural network (ANN), gene expression programming, Bayesian network, machine algorithms, such as a support vector machine (SVM), and Random Forest have found widespread use in the field of simulation and prediction of components in aquatic ecosystems. Variables vary greatly on water quality parameters (due to nonlinear and complex relationships). Therefore, conventional methods are not eligible to solve water resource quality management problems. The aim of this study was to investigate the possibility of simulating the spatial and temporal alterations in water quality parameters during the period 1985-2014 in Anzali Wetland using a SVM model. Based on principal components analysis (PCA), the parameters EC, TDS, pH and BOD5 were selected for analysis in this study. Spearman correlation was calculated to determine the inputs of the model and the correlation coefficient(CC) between the water quality parameters. According to the results of the correlation table analysis, 8 types of structures including different inputs were used to predict the parameters with machine vector. In the next stage, 70% of the data were used to train, while the rest were used for analyzing the models. Criteria for determination coefficient (R2) and root mean square error (RMSE) were used for evaluation and model performance. The results revealed that in verification stage among different used models, the pH had the highest accuracy (0.95), while the lowest RMSE (0.20). Trend of alterations for optimal model of each parameter on a time scale, indicated an adequate estimation at most points. In general, the results exhibited the appropriate accuracy and acceptable performance of the SVM model in simulating water parameters.
