- چکیده انگلیسی: An eleven-year-old Doberman-German Shepherd mixed bitch was presented with vulvar enlargement, vaginal discharge, and bleeding for two months and a week before, respectively. The dog was operated for routine ovariohysterectomy. During the surgery, a liquid-filled sac was observed on the ventrolateral border of the right uterine horn. The sac was ligated and excised. The uterine horns and ovaries were stained for histopathological evaluation. Granulosa cell tumor (GCT), adenomyosis (CUA), endometrial cystic hyperplasia (CEH), and uterine serosal inclusion cyst (USC) were diagnosed through histopathology assessment. Following up, 12 weeks after surgery revealed that the patient was in good condition with a good appetite and without any vaginal discharge. It seems the initial problem of the present bitch and the main cause of clinical signs was GCT. Probably, other abnormal conditions including CUA, CEH, and USC occurred as a result of hormonal disturbance associated with GCT. This report described the concurrent occurrence of GCT, CUA, CEH, and USC in a bitch as it has not been reported before.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction: Cardiovascular homeostasis such as tonicity of vessels and blood flow can be affected by activities and hormones. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effect of 8 weeks low intensity aerobic exercise on plasma endothelin-1 (ET-1), blood pressure and heart rate (HR) in healthy men and women and coronary artery disease (CAD) patients.
Methods: In this quasi-experimental study, the experimental group consisted of 30 CAD patients (15 males and 15 females). The control group included 15 healthy males and 15 healthy females. These groups were chosen randomly. Participants did aerobic exercises with the intensity of 30%-40% of maximum HR. Blood samples were taken from participants in three stages (before, immediately and 24 hours after 8 weeks of exercise) and ET-1 plasma level was measured by ELISA method.
Results: There was no significant alteration in ET-1 plasma level during the experiment. However, there was a significant difference in the systolic blood pressure (SBP) at the three stages in all groups (P = 0.01). In addition, we could observe a significant difference in the diastolic blood pressure (DBP) at the three stages in CAD men and healthy women (P = 0.03). Conversely, no significant difference was observed in the DBP of other groups. There was a significant difference in the blood pressure of three groups (P = 0.002) except for healthy men.
Conclusion: The results demonstrated that, as there is a threshold in terms of time or intensity to stimulate the secretion of hormone; when the intensity and duration of exercise is below the stimulation threshold, no significant change can be observed in the level of ET-1.- انتشار مقاله: 17-02-1394

- چکیده انگلیسی: This study tries to measure political trust and political participation among students who are members of the Islamic Association and the student's Basij of Mazandaran University and Babol Noshirvani University of Technology. In addition the impact of political trust on political participation tested and studied. The theoretical framework of the study is based on Putnam's theory on the impact of trust on participation and cooperation. The total number of study size were 400 students. Among them 200 active members were estimated as sample size through Cochran's formula and they were selected through disproportionate stratified sampling method. The data was gathered through questionnaire. The results show that the mean of political trust and political participation of student members of the student's Basij is higher than the mean of political trust and political participation of student members of the Islamic Association. There is a significant and positive relationship between political trust and political participation. The result of bivariate linear regression shows that the impact of political trust on political participation is significant and it explains 37 percent of political participation variation. Though the impact of political trust on political participation is significant among members of the Islamic Association but its impact on political participation is not significant among members of the students' Basij.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Microorganisms are important components of soil. Some soil filamentous fungi such as
Penicilium produce many bioactive small molecules, or secondary metabolites, that range from
beneficial bioactive compounds to harmful toxins. In this study, the metabolites of three
penicillium species (P. goditanum, P. moldavicum and P. corylophilum) were extracted by
adding ethyl acetate to liquid cultures. The metabolites were determined using gas
chromatography and mass spectrometry. The results obtained from the GC-MS analysis showed
that Penicillium species are sources of bioactive compounds. We have identified different
groups of compounds, such as alkaloids, alkenes, sesquiterpens, fatty acids, and essential oils.
Among them, 1,3,8-p-Menthatriene, 2-methylenecyclohexane, anthracene, neoisolongifolene,
[14] annulene and thioxanthene in P. goditanum, isocyclocitral, coumarin-6-ol and 2, 4, 6-
Trimethoxystyrene in P. moldavicum as well as asarone in P. corylophilum were major
compounds. Moreover, several compounds, such as oxalic acid, dibenzothiophene,
hexadecanoic acid, and alkane hydrocarbons, were identified in all species.

- چکیده انگلیسی: This study investigated biodegradation of dibenzothiophene (DBT) in marsh soil spiked by
white-rot fungus Phanerochaete chrysosporium. Soil samples were spiked with 100 ppm DBT
and incubated at 30°C in a dark chamber for 30 days. Samples were evaluated for pH, Mnperoxidase
activity, sulfate ion concentration and growth during the tests. Results showed
maximum levels of pH, Mn-peroxidase and sulfate concentrations at 8.19, 66 U L-1 and 31.21
mg kg-1 respectively. Colony forming unit assay determinations for contaminated soil samples
showed that the fungus was able to grow and use dibenzothiophene as a source of carbon and
energy. GC analysis of contaminated samples compared to control samples, demonstrated
degradation of DBT by Phanerochaete chrysosporium. There was no significantly improved
effect on degradation when the treatment was performed in presence of soil micro flora. The
system attained a high rate of DBT degradation at approximately 83.34%, the 30 day test
operation under optimal conditions. After 20 days, the sulfate ion concentration in soil samples

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this article, in reference to the modified couple stress theory and Euler-Bernoulli beam theory, the free lateral vibration response of a micro-beam carrying a moveable attached mass is investigated. This is a decent model for biological and biomedical applications beneficial to the early-stage diagnosis of diseases and malfunctions of human body organs and enzymes. The micro-cantilever beam is composed of functionally graded materials (FGMs). The material properties are supposed to show variations through-thickness of the beam in consonance to the power of law. Rayleigh-Ritz method is applied in order to explore the natural frequencies of the first three vibration modes. In order to manifest the accuracy of the proposed method, the results are established and juxtaposed with technical literature. Influences of the material length-scale parameter that captures the size-dependency, ratio of the mass of the beam to the mass of the attached mass and power index of the graded material consequent to the vibrational behavior of the system are contemplated. This technical research denotes the value of the material gradation besides to the inertia of an attached mass in the dynamic behavior of the bio-micro-systems. As a result, the adoption of suitable power index, mass ratio and position of the attached mass lead to the superior design of bio-micro-systems persuading early-stage diagnostics.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Lanthanum nickelate with the chemical formula of La2NiO4+δ has attracted research interests during recent years, due to its hA high oxygen ion diffusivity for application as cathode material in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs). In this research, lanthanum nickelate with Ruddlesden–Popper (RP) crystal structure was synthesized via the co-precipitation method. The effects of OH-/NO3- molar ratio, La3+/Ni2+ molar ratio, co-precipitation temperature, and calcination temperature on the phase composition, thermal behavior, morphology, and electrochemical properties of the synthesized samples were investigated. Analysis of the X-ray diffractometry (XRD) patterns revealed that the optimum OH-/NO3- and La3+/Ni2+ molar ratios in the co-precipitation stage are 1.25 and 1.7, respectively. The formation of RP lanthanum nickelate is promoted by calcination of the co-precipitated powder at 1000 °C, while the calcination at lower temperatures may lead to the formation of perovskite (P) lanthanum nickelate. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) studies showed that the mean particle size decreases from 428 to 332 nm by increasing the OH-/NO3- molar ratio from 1 to 1.5 while it increases from 67 to 183 nm by increasing the calcination temperature from 900 to 1000 °C. Simultaneous differential thermal analysis (DTA/TG) showed that the single RP lanthanum nickelate phase starts to form at 920 °C and fully formed at 960 °C. The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy data indicated that the cell with the electrode sintered at 1050 °C has the lowest polarization resistance. The polarization resistance reached 1 Ω cm2 at the testing temperature of 800 °C, for the electrode sintered at 1050 °C. Impedance curves of the electrode were fitted and simulated with two semicircles at high and low frequencies. The activation energy of 1.14 eV was calculated for the electrode polarization resistance of the lanthanum nickelate electrode.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Nanostructured manganese cobalt oxide spinel (MnCo2O4) are prepared by co-precipitation method and calcined at 650 and 750°C. Morphological studies show that by increasing the calcination temperature from 650 to 750°C, morphology of the particles changes from quasi-plate to polyhedral. The MnCo2O4 calcined at 650°C could deliver an initial discharge capacity of 1438 mAh g-1 under current density of 45 mA g-1. The effects of calcination temperature on the initial discharge capacity of the electrode have also been investigated, The MnCo2O4 calcined at 650°C shows the higher initial discharge capacity due to the higher surface area (due to smaller particles) and weaker crystallinity. The influences of electrode porosities also have been studied, which suggest the electrochemical performance is determined by both the particle-to-particle contact and wettability of the electrode. An increase of the internal resistance of the electrode is observed with increasing electrode thickness (active material loading), which is the main factor responsible for the significant capacity loss for thicker electrode.
