- چکیده: A recent evaluation of Chooman Dam highlighted the potential for dam failure due to either seepage or an earthquake on nearby faults. Unfortunately, this dam suffers from infiltration or leakage problems related mainly to different geological and tectonic factors. In response to these concerns, electrical resistivity surveys employing vertical electric sounding (VES) method were carried out at the dam site, located in Kurdistan Province in the west of Iran in order to delineate potential pathways of leakage occurring thorough the subsurface structure close to the dam body, bed rock depth and lateral discontinuities in the study area. The VES surveys were conducted using the Schlumberger electrode array in 400 points or stations along 28 profiles at a station interval of 20 to 50 m in up- and downstream sides of the dam embankment. For data acquisition, a terrameter SAS 4000 resistivity system, made by Swedish ABEM Company, was used. Maximum separation of current electrodes in the Schlumberger VES surveys was considered 430 m. These geoelectrical studies revealed a thick package of andesite basement in the eastern part and vitriform tuff basement in the western part of the study area. Considering the results and the detection of a strike-slip fault on the downstream side of the dam embankment, it is evident that fractures are the main causative factor responsible for the leakage in the Chooman Dam.

- چکیده انگلیسی: One of the main critical steps that should be taken during natural disasters is the assignment and distribution of resources among affected people. In such situations, this can save many lives. Determining the demands for critical items (i.e., the number of injured people) is very important. Accordingly, a number of casualties and injured people have to be known during a disaster. Obtaining an acceptable estimation of the number of casualties adds to the complexity of the problem. In this paper, a location-routing problem is discussed for urgent therapeutic services during disasters. The problem is formulated as a bi-objective Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP) model. The objectives are to concurrently minimize the time of offering relief items to the affected people and minimize the total costs. The costs include those related to locations and transportation means (e.g., ambulances and helicopters) that are used to carry medical personnel and patients. To address the bi-objectiveness and verify the efficiency and applicability of the proposed model, the ε-constraint method is employed to solve several randomly-generated problems with CLEPX solver in GAMS. The obtained results include the objective functions, the number of the required facility, and the trade-offs between objectives. Then, the parameter of demands (i.e., number of casualties), which has the most important role, is examined using a sensitivity analysis and the managerial insights are discussed.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: Rounded shoulder posture is a common abnormal posture in upper quarter. Kinesiotape is a new intervention that recently used in rehabilitation. There are no studies have examined the effect of kinesiotape on rounded shoulder posture. Therefore the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of scapular kinesiotaping and pectoralis minor stretching exercise on forward shoulder angle in female subjects with rounded shoulder posture.Methods: Twenty female students aged between 18 to 25 years old with rounded shoulder posture participated in this study. Then, the subjects were randomly and equally assigned to two groups: the stretch group and the stretch plus kinesiotape group. Both groups were trained for doing home exercise to stretch Pectoralis minor bilaterally for two weeks. Kinesiotape group received kinesiotape on scapular area additionally. Forward shoulder angle was measured in four sessions including pre-intervention (first session), immediately after the first intervention (second session), fourth day (third session) and at the end of two weeks (fourth session). Two-way repeated measures ANOVA (4x2) was used for data analysis.Results: kinesiotape group showed significant within-group decrease in forward shoulder angle between first session with three other sessions (P≤0.05).There was no significant within-group difference in stretch group and between groups (P=0.20) forward shoulder angle-by-group interaction in measurement sessions was significantly different (P=0.02)Conclusion: scapular kinesiotaping along with pectoralis minor stretching exercise improved rounded shoulder posture in subjects of the present study. kinesiotape is suggested as a complementary treatment with immediate effects on postural correction of rounded shoulder.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The need for clean groundwater resources to have sustainable development in a country is undoubted. Due to the importance and high quality of karstic waters in supplying water in Iran especially in Shahrood city, it is attempted in this research work to recognize and explore karstic waters in southwest of Tepal area, Shahrood. For this purpose, integration of the results obtained from the methods of vertical electrical sounding (VES) and resistivity profiling has been used in this research work. The VES surveys have been performed in 10 sounding points using the Schlumberger array with electrode separations of a maximum 500 meters. The resistivity profiling surveys using dipole-dipole electrode array with 75m electrode spacing and dipole steps 1 to 8 have been carried out along four lines having a length of more than four kilometers in the study area. Then, one-dimensional (1-D) modeling and interpretation of the sounding results using master curves and IX1D software, and two-dimensional (2-D) modeling and interpretation of the profiling results using Res2DINV have been made. As a result of the interpretation and integration of the results, karstic water zones in the study area have been recognized, and based on that, suitable locations for drilling to access and extract karstic groundwater have been introduced.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background & aim: Infertility can lead to a diminished sense of well-being and is associated with a high frequency of psychosomatic and somatic disorders. Generally, infertile women are more affected by infertility than men. This study aimed to determine factors influencing anxiety among infertile women undergoing in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 224 infertile women who were candidate for IVF/ICSI referred to Milad IVF Center, Mashhad, Iran, from September 2015 to July 2016. Prior to the treatment, the participants completed the demographic characteristics questionnaire and Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) to assess the level of anxiety. Additionally, a self-structured questionnaire containing the infertility-associated data including the duration and cause of infertility as well as history and the duration of treatment, was completed by the respondents. The subjects were selected through purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using Mann-Whitney U, Kruskal-Wallis, Fisher exact test, regression tests, as well as Spearman’s correlation coefficient in SPSS software, version 16.
Results: The results obtained from BAI showed that 38.4% of the subjects had moderate anxiety. There was a significant relationship between the level of anxiety and age (P=0.001), the cause of infertility (P=0.007), and the duration of treatment (P=0.001).
Conclusion: As the level of anxiety was higher in infertile women with younger age, female factor infertility and longer duration of treatment, it is recommended to consider this population more vulnerable and to provide them supportive counseling to be able to overcome their anxiety.- انتشار مقاله: 17-12-1396

- چکیده انگلیسی: Organizations are nowadays seeking competitive advantage over other rivals, reduction of costs, and customer satisfaction for their progress and development. One of the key factors in reaching the competitive advantage is to have a robust logistic system. The available complexities in the forward and reverse integration processes lead managers to take the companies offering third party logistics services as proper alternatives for outsourcing processes. Furthermore, with population growth and development of transportation network, the amount of scrap products related to this industry is increasing. One of the widely used products is tire which could cause irreversible damages to the environment if it is not logically and appropriately disposed after being fully used. Accordingly, this study proposed a multi-period, multi-product, bi-objective mathematical model to design a closed-loop supply chain network in the tire industry concerning sustainability factors (economic and social) under the third party logistic management. The proposed model aimed at maximizing the profit made by different process over the scrap products and reaching social sustainability as well. Furthermore, the environmental impacts were controlled. The augmented epsilon-constraint method was implemented to solve the multi-objective model and reach optimal Pareto solutions. Finally, the proposed model was validated against a case study in the tire industry.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this study a hierarchical hub location problem with two layers is considered. The first layer includes small hubs and the second one includes a star-shaped network central hub. The considered case is a cargo delivery network where there is hierarchy between hubs. All the hubs and links are capacitated and there are three kinds of commodities for each of which there is a special kind of vehicle. The purpose is to determine the optimal cost by locating small hubs (city hubs) and the central hub, allocation of links to the hubs, and finding the optimal number of vehicles for each hub. The model is a mixed integer nonlinear programming. A case study for this model is performed in a cargo delivery network by using published data in Iranian Statistics Organization website, and it is solved by appropriate software.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In the present research, a multi-objective model is proposed, which considers equity among the citizens in addition to the cost criterion. Then, the model will be solved using Reservation Level Tchebycheff Procedure (RLTP), which is one of the interactive multi-objective decision-making techniques. Subsequently, the obtained results will be compared with those of the single-objective models to determine the effect of considering and not considering the equity criterion on public facilities location. Results of the present study show that the basic models of public facilities location do not consider the equity criterion; thus, in order to protect citizens’ rights, it is necessary for decision-makers of the urban management and planning to consider the objective of equity, along with other objectives of the project, as a multi-objective model in public facilities location problems. The proposed multi-objective model has also desirable and acceptable performance, which can be used in the public facilities location problems.
