- چکیده انگلیسی: Introduction: Giving attention to the various factors affecting the academic achievement of student’s results in their better academic performance. The aim of the current study was to examine the effectiveness of training metacognition-based study skill on the achievement motivation, self-efficacy, satisfaction with school and resilience of the female secondary students in Isfahan. Method: The statistical population of the present study included all the female secondary students in Isfahan in the 2014-2015 academic sessions among whom 30 students were selected by the multistage cluster random sampling method and were designated by the experimental research design of pretest – posttest type with control group. The interventions is related to the training study skill based on the metacognition approach drawn from Seif’s educational psychology which were conducted on the test group students during 20 educational sessions. The tools used included the achievement motivation questionnaire with Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient 0.80, the construct validity with factor loading 0.39, the multidimensional scale of students’ life satisfaction with reliability coefficient 0.70 to 0.90 and with validity coefficient 0.50, the self-efficacy scale with reliability coefficient 0.86 through Cronbach's alpha and the validity coefficient of correlation -0.34, the resilience with reliability coefficient 0.86 through Cronbach's alpha and the validity coefficient of correlation 0.64. The data were analyzed through multivariable covariance analysis and the SPSS software version 22. Results: The results of the research revealed a significant difference between the test and control groups (P=0.001, F(4,21)=6.92, Hoteling effect=1.31) thus indicating the effectiveness of metacognition training method on the achievement motivation, self-efficacy, satisfaction with school and resilience. It signifies that the metacognition training method explains 47, 43, 33 and 39 percent of changes of the dependent variable respectively (P<0.005). Conclusion: The findings revealed that the metacognitive study skills results in the increase of the students' achievement motivation, self- efficacy, satisfaction with school and the academic resilience and it can be applied in the educational counseling of kids and teens.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Utilizing boundary integral method (BIM), we investigate molecular
spontaneous emission rate enhancement in the vicinity of plasmonic nanoparticles of
elliptical cross section. These types of nanoparticles can considerably enhance the
molecule decay rate. The spontaneous emission rate can be modified by altering the
aspect ratio of the elliptical nanoparticle, the background refractive index and
nanoparticles material. It is shown that the decay rate can be enhanced by two or three
orders of magnitude for dipole distances below 10 nanometers. The position of
enhancement peaks can be adjusted in the investigated spectral range (400-1000 nm) by
changing the aspect ratio of the nanoparticle or the refractive index of background
medium and nanoparticles material. To validate our result, we use BIM method to
calculate light scattering by a circular gold nanowire and compare it with analytical
result. Then the effect of various parameters, including aspect ratio and material of
nanoparticle and the background refractive index, on the decay rate is investigated.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Background: The renin-angiotensin system has an important role in hepatic inflammation and fibrosis. Renin-angiotensin system blockade by angiotensinconverting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors provides some protective effects against hepatic fibrogenesis. Captopril as an ACE inhibitor can decrease inflammatory mediators and attenuate hepatic fibrosis in the livers of bile duct ligated (BDL) rats.
Objective: The present study was conducted to investigate the effects of captopril on cytokine production in hepatic fibrosis induced by a bile duct ligation model in rats.
Methods: Male rats were divided into four groups including; control, sham operated, BDL, and BDL plus captopril (10 mg/kg/day, orally). After 28 days of treatment, the livers were removed for cytokine analysis. Hepatic interleukin (IL)-10 and tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α levels were measured.
Results: Captopril treatment decreased the hepatic content of the proinflammatory cytokine TNF-α and increased the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10.
Conclusion: the present study suggests that the protective effect of captopril on hepatic fibrosis is likely to be mediated by cytokine production.- انتشار مقاله: 16-05-1395

- چکیده انگلیسی: The aim of this study was utilizing Kemin multi-enzyme in common carp (Cyprinus carpio) diet and investigating its impact on fish survival rates exposed to the lethal concentration of abamectin. For this purpose, 42 fish were divided into two experimental diets, containing 0 and 1000 mg/kg of diets for 6 weeks. LC50 of abamectin for fish dietary consumed Kemin multi-Enzyme was determined with different concentrations of abamectin (0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 6 ml/l) for 96 hour. Then fish were exposed to 1.243 mg/liter abamectin. Analysis of the data showed significant difference between treatment and control groups in terms of fatalities (P <0.05). Higher mortality was related to the Kemin multi-enzyme group and lower mortality related to the control group. The 96h LC50 of abamectin for Cyprinus carpio (Treatment) was 0.369 mg/l. Results of this study showed that use of dietary Kemin multi-enzyme although increase the fish growth, but due to high intestinal absorption levels, it can increase the toxicity of abamectin and mortality rate in common carp.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Objective(s): Alzheimer’s disease (AD) as progressive cognitive decline and the most common form of dementia is due to degeneration of the cholinergic neurons in the brain. Therefore, administration of the acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitors such as donepezil is the first choice for treatment of the AD. In the present study, we focused on the synthesis and anti-cholinesterase evaluation of new donepezil like analogs.
Materials and Methods: A new series of phthalimide derivatives (compounds 4a-4j) were synthesized via Gabriel protocol and subsequently amidation reaction was performed using various benzoic acid derivatives. Then, the corresponding anti-acetylcholinesterase activity of the prepared derivatives (4a-4j) was assessed by utilization of the Ellman's test and obtained results were compared to donepezil. Besides, docking study was also carried out to explore the likely in silico binding interactions.
Results: According to the obtained results, electron withdrawing groups (Cl, F) at position 3 and an electron donating group (methoxy) at position 4 of the phenyl ring enhanced the acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activity. Compound 4e (m-Fluoro, IC50 = 7.1 nM) and 4i (p-Methoxy, IC50 = 20.3 nM) were the most active compounds in this series and exerted superior potency than donepezil (410 nM). Moreover, a similar binding mode was observed in silico for all ligands in superimposition state with donepezil into the active site of acetylcholinesterase.
Conclusion: Studied compounds could be potential leads for discovery of novel anti-Alzheimer agents in the future.- انتشار مقاله: 11-10-1395

- چکیده انگلیسی: Objective (s):Hyperglycemia is widely recognized as the underlying cause for some debilitating conditions in diabetic patients. The role of cannabinoid CB1 and vanilloid TRPV1 receptors and their endogenous agonists, endovanilloids, in diabetic neuropathy is shown in many studies. Here we have used PC12 cell line to investigate the possible influence of glucose concentration in culture medium on cytoprotective or toxic effects of a CB1 [WIN55 212-2 (WIN)], or TRPV1 [Capsaicin (CAS)] agonist. Materials and Methods: Cell viability was tested using the MTT assay. We have also measured TRPV1 and CB1 transcripts by real time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction while cells were grown in low (5.5 mM) and high (50 mM) glucose concentrations. Results:Real time PCR results indicated that high glucose medium increased (P<0.01) TRPV1 mRNA and decreased (P <0.001) that of CB1. Cell culture tests show that hyperglycemic cells are more vulnerable (Dose × Medium, F (3,63)=41.5, P<0.001) to the toxic effects of capsaicin compared to those grown in low glucose medium. Conclusion: These findings propose that hyperglycemic conditions may result in neuronal cell death because of inducing a counterbalance between cytotoxic TRPV1 and cytoprotective CB1 receptors.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Objective(s):According to the prevalence of neoplastic diseases, there is a deep necessity for discovery of novel anticancer drugs in the field of medicinal chemistry. In the current study, a new series ofphenylthiazole derivatives(compounds 4a-4f) was synthesizedand theiranticancer activity was assessed in vitro. Materials and Methods:All synthesized derivatives were evaluated towards three human cancerous cell lines of SKNMC (Neuroblastoma), Hep-G2 (Human hepatocarcinoma) and MCF-7 cell (Breast cancer) using MTT assay and obtained values (IC50 ± SD) were compared with doxorubicin. Results:Unfortunately, none of the synthesized compounds showed superior activity than doxorubicin against cancerous cell lines. MCF-7 cell line was the most resistant cell line against tested compounds. Compounds 4c with para nitro (IC50 = 10.8 ± 0.08 µM) and 4d with meta chlorine (IC50 = 11.6 ± 0.12 µM) moieties exerted thehighest cytotoxic effects towardsSKNMC and Hep-G2 cell lines respectively. Conclusion: A new series of phenylthiazole derivatives were synthesized and their anticancer activity was assessed against cancerous cell lines. More structural modifications and derivatization is necessary to achieve to the more potent compounds.

The inspissated meconium pellets are a cause or effect of ileocolic obstructions. The present study aimed at explaining our experience of ultrasound-based approach for differentiation and treatment of the inspissated meconium pellets. This study was conducted at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Mashhad, Iran, from 2017-2020. Twenty-four neonates (less than 8 days) with inspissated meconium pellets were examined using ultrasound. Moreover, in cases with non-complicated inspissated meconium pellets, ultrasound-guided contrast enema was performed for confirmation of the diagnosis or probable treatment. In ultrasound, the inspissated meconium pellets were observed as uniform hypo- to hyper-echoic tubular or beaded intra-luminal material in ileocolic loops or recto-sigmoid area. These pellets were in five states: simple meconium ileus, localized or generalized meconium, small bowel, meconium plug syndrome, and Hirschsprung's disease.
During contrast enema in non-complicated meconium ileus, moving and floating of inspissated meconium pellets was observed during ultrasound scanning, while this issue was not observed in small bowel atresia. The success rates of the hypertonic contrast enema in patients with simple meconium ileus were 80%. The inspissated meconium pellets have an ultrasound appearance. They are mainly observed in patients with simple and complicated meconium obstructions and bowel atresia. Except in complicated meconium obstructions, the ultrasound-guided contrast enema was performed for their differentiation and probable treatment.- انتشار مقاله: 04-12-1398

Introduction: Biliary tract injury is a major complication of laparoscopic cholecystectomywhich can be very challenging. But, the important part is to know the accurate anatomy of the ducts and site of the injury before any surgical attempt for ligation or repair. In this case a disaster might happen if we do not consider biliary anatomical abnormality as the main issue.
Case Report
In this case, there was an additional duct originating from the right hepatic lobe and inserting directly to the common bile duct (CBD) along with the right hepatic duct. The injury to this branch led to biloma secretion from two tearing sites, one proximal to the branch and another distal of the branch adjacent to CBD, during laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
Conclusion
There are numerous anatomic variations in the biliary tract, so according to this case we highly recommend to assay the exact anatomy before any intervention by means of Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) or intraoperative cholangiography.
