- چکیده انگلیسی: Electrochemical performance of binary and ternary oxides composed of Ni, Co and Cu produced over a 3-dimensional substrate of vertically aligned carbon nano-tubes (VACNT) as electrodes for aqueous energy sources, is reported and compared in this paper. VACNTs were fabricated inside a DC-plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition chamber and composite materials fabricated by thermal decomposition method on the surface of VACNT electrodes. XRD, Raman and electron microscopy tests were used to verify electrodes proper composition and interface between the electrodes substrate and active material. Cyclo-voltammetry experiments were done over electrodes and Co-Cu oxide/VACNT electrode found to have the highest charge capacity of 230 mC cm-2 among the electrodes. Electrical impedance spectroscopy was done to determine electrodes electrical behavior in different frequencies and find their characteristics quality as well.

- چکیده انگلیسی: This paper reports results of a study regarding the activities of nano structure Mn/γ-Al2O3 and γ-Al2O3 catalysts for oxidation of 2-propanol (as a model of volatile organic compound). Nanostructure of catalysts was revealed using XRD, SEM and TEM techniques. Catalytic studies were carried out in U-shaped packed bed reactor under atmospheric pressure and at the reaction temperature of 150- 500°C. Results showed that the introducing of manganese onto γ-Al2O3 improves the activity of Mn/γ-Al2O3 compared to pure γ-Al2O3 for oxidation of 2-propanol. This study confirms that nanostructure Mn/γ-Al2O3 catalysts can be suitable for oxidation of organic compounds. This study, hopefully, holds the promise for the eliminating of 2-propanol contained hazardous materials in industrial application.

In this paper, among other things, we study the relationships between the $(-1)$-Weakly amenability of $A''$ and the weak amenability of $A''$ or $A$. Moreover, we show that the second dual of every $C^ast$-algebra is $(-1)$-Weakly amenable.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Index tracking is one of the most important passive strategies which describes the process of attempting to track the performance of some specified benchmark indexes. Most recent studies determined security returns in conventional models by the precise historical data. However, such precise data are not always available and it is hard to forecast security returns with stochastic values. Therefore, to handle such imprecise uncertainty, considering security returns as variables with imprecise distributions, i.e., fuzzy variables are recommended. In these studies, researchers have studied and experimented with various risk-measure methods for index tracking portfolio selection. Models which were extended based on Markowitz portfolio selection model have used the single period variance of returns as a risk measure. Since forecasting future returns of portfolio is uncertain, we consider these returns as fuzzy variables in this study. We also apply Value-at-Risk as the risk measure whichhas not yet been established as risk measure in index tracking portfolio selection problems. The model is tested, using Tehran Price Index (TEPIX) and computational results are presented at the end.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Wax crystallisation and deposition from offshore reservoirs have been causing serious problems such as plugged pipelines and reduced production flow rates. This issue is receiving more attention from the researchers and for commercial applications due to the shift in trend from using offshore production facilities to pipelines utilization. The aim of this study is the implementation of the Avrami theory to comprehend the mechanism of wax crystallisation to reveal the morphology of wax crystal using gravimetric and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analyses. The experiment values obtained from the Avrami’s theory for both gravimetric and DSC techniques shows that the crystals were one-dimensional with rod-like structures.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this paper, size dependent beam type peizoelectric energy hardvester is investigated. For this goal, first nonlinear formulation of isotropic piezoelectric Euler-Bernoulli nano-beam is developed based on the size-dependent piezoelectricity theory then special beam type piezoelectric energy hardvester is probed for different parameters. Basic nonlinear equations of piezoelectric nano-beam are derived using principle of minimum of potential energy and variational method. To evaluate the formulation derived, static deformation and free vibration of the clamped-clamped piezoelectric nano-beam is investigated in the special case. The results of the formulation derived are investigated under different parameters, and particularly, the ability and performance of the beam type piezoelectric low power energy harvesting was evaluated in nanoscale.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The life history traits and gonad development of an endemic cyprinid fish, the spotted barb, Capoeta mandica (Bianco & Banarescu 1982), from southern Iran was investigated by regular monthly collections from February 2006 through January 2007 and on the basis of microscopic and macroscopic analyses. No information on the spawning characteristics of the fish are available to date. A total of 335 specimens were captured using electrofishing including 253 males and 102 females, resulting in 2.5:1 (male: female) sex ratio, which is significantly different from the expected ratio. The commonly known five standard maturation stages were determined based on the size, shape and weight of the gonads, degree of occupation of the body cavity, presence or absence of ripe oocytes, or milt, diameter of the oocytes in the ovary, and histological observations. These stages were correlated to the reproductive indices. The ovum diameters ranged from 0.04 to 1.31 mm, with the highest mean value in May. The condition factor of male and female specimens was the highest in April. The female GSI increased from March to May, peaking in the middle of spring and decreased significantly in June. Based on the gonad maturation stages, gonadosomatic index (GSI), modified GSI, mean egg diameter, condition factor (K) and Dobriyal index (DI), it was concluded that the spotted barbspawns during May and June. The provided data, contribute baseline data towards management ecology and conservation of this endemic fish species.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Ticks are reservoir hosts of pathogenic Rickettsia in humans and domestic animals. Most pathogenic Rickettsia species belong to the spotted fever group (SFG). The present study aimed to determine the tick species infected with Rickettsia based on the genus-specific 23S ribosomal ribonucleic acid (rRNA), 16S rRNA, and citrate synthase (gltA) gene fragments. A total of 61 tick specimens were selected for molecular assay and 12 samples for sequencing. Phylogenetic analysis was conducted using neighbor-joining and Bayesian inference methods. Argas persicus, Haemaphysalis sulcata, Ha. inermis, and Hyalomma asiaticum were infected by spotted fever Rickettsia. The SFG is the main group of Rickettsia that can be detected in the three genera of ticks from Iran.

- چکیده انگلیسی: The present study was conducted as the first molecular detection of Anaplasma species in tick samples based on the sequencing of major surface proteins 4 (msp4) gene fragments in different parts of Iran. A total of 130 tick specimens were collected from Hormozgan, Lorestan, and Guilan, Iran, within 2015 to 2017. Hyalomma asiaticum, Hyalomma dromedarii, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, and Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) species were identified in different geographical regions. An amplicon of 464-bp msp4 of Anaplasma was amplified using polymerase chain reaction in various tick species. Three sequences, including one Anaplasma marginale from R. (Boophilus) species and two Anaplasma ovis from Rhipicephalus sanguineus, were obtained after sequencing. It is concluded that bovine and ovine anaplasmosis agents are present in tick samples in Iran. The use of the gene families of six major surface proteins for the detection of various Anaplasma species is recommended.
