- چکیده انگلیسی: Porosity is one of the key parameters associated with oil reservoirs. Determination of this petrophysical parameter is an essential step in reservoir characterization. Among different linear and nonlinear prediction tools such as multi-regression and polynomial curve fitting, artificial neural network has gained the attention of researchers over the past years. In the present study, two-dimensional (2D) seismic and well logs data of the Burgan oil field were used for prediction of the reservoir porosity. In this regard, broad-band acoustic impedance was first extracted from 2D seismic dataset, as the attribute most related to porosity. Next, other optimum seismic attributes were selected using stepwise regression and cross validation techniques. At the end, three types of neural network were used for inversion of seismic attributes and prediction of reservoir porosity. The results show that probabilistic neural network (PNN) is the best one for prediction of the reservoir porosity using seismic attributes.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Two Cu-Co and Co3O4 oxides were synthesized by the conventional sol-gel auto-combustion and their physical-chemical properties were characterized by XRD, FTIR, SEM, TPR and XPS. The XRD results indicated that copper-cobalt oxide appeared in a mixture form of Cu0.15Co2.85O4 spinel and CuO phases, whereas the cobalt oxide exhibited in the pure form of Co3O4 spinel. The FTIR approved the formation of the spinel structure in the both samples. The SEM results showed that both oxides are as nanoparticles. Application of the same synthesis conditions for both samples let to obtain samples with different purity. The results of temperature program reduction (TPR) revealed that Cu-Co nano oxide is more reducible at lower temperatures. The copper-cobalt oxide exhibited the higher activity that the Co3O4 in catalytic combustion of toluene, which is explained by its higher reducibility at the reaction conditions and by a possible synergistic effect between Cu-Co oxide and CuO particles.

- چکیده انگلیسی: According to circumstance of kerman sarcheshmeh cooper complex that its anode slime is mainly consisted of Cu, Ag, Au, Pb and Se. In this work, recovery of silver from anode slime and subsequent synthesis of silver nanoparticles from leaching solution was made. Silver was separated from anode slime by using of HNO3 and HCl. X-Ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF) was used to characterize anode slime components. Silver nanoparticles (SNPs) with average size of 25 nm were obtained through sonication aqueous solution of silver nitrate in the presence of dextrose and polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) as reduction and stabilizing agent respectively. SNPs were characterized by surface plasmon resonance (SPR) and Ultraviolet-Visible (UV-Vis) spectrum. X-Ray diffraction (XRD) pattern confirmed the cubic morphology of metallic SNPs and energy dispersive X-Ray spectroscopy (EDS) spectrum showed peaks of silver free of impurity. Size and distribution of SNPs were determined by dynamic light scattering analysis (DLS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this work, electrochemical methods such as Tafel polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) were used to study the inhibition efficiency of Nettle leaves hydroalcoholic extract as a green corrosion inhibitor of API 5L carbon steel in 0.5 M H2SO4 solution. The results showed that the inhibition efficiency was increased with increasing the concentration of the extract and the maximum inhibition efficiency in the concentration of 6 g/L was 96%. The negative sign 0 ΔGads absorption of inhibitor on the steel surface was spontaneous and the value 0 ads ΔG represented the physical absorption of the inhibitor which followed the Langmuir isotherm.

- چکیده انگلیسی: This paper focused on the characterization of electrochemical behavior of a martensitic stainless steel in the acidic solutions. For this purpose, electrochemical parameters were derived from potentiodynamic polarization, Mott Schottky analysis and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques. The potentiodynamic polarization results showed that corrosion current density of AISI 420 stainless steel was decreased with the decrease in the concentration of solution. EIS studies also showed that as concentration was decreased, the measured value of polarization resistance was increased. This trend was due to the decrease in the corrosion current density, which corresponded to potentiodynamic polarization curves. Mott Schottky analysis revealed that passive films behaved as n-type and p-type semiconductors at potentials below and above the flat band potential, respectively. Also, Mott Schottky analysis indicated that the donor and acceptor densities were increased with solution concentration.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this paper, the electrochemical behaviour of passive films formed on AISI 321 stainless steel (AISI 321) immersed in 0.1 M NaOH + 0.1 M KOH solution was evaluated by different electrochemical techniques. For this purpose, passive films were formed at open circuit potential for 1 to 12 hours and then electrochemical measurements were done. The polarization curves suggested that AISI 321 showed excellent passive behaviour in 0.1 M NaOH + 0.1 M KOH solution. Mott–Schottky analysis indicated that the accepted densities were in the range of 1021 cm-3 and decreased with immersion time. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) results showed that the best electrical equivalent circuit presented two time constants: The high-medium frequencies time constant could be correlated with the charge transfer process and the low frequencies time constant was associated with redox processes taking place in the surface film. Also, EIS results showed that polarization resistance was increased with formation time from 1 until 12 hours, due to the thickening of passive film.

- چکیده انگلیسی: Nanostructured iron oxide powder that has been recovered from waste pickling liquor unit of steel industry was studied for oxidation catalytic applications. In this research, the powder was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transition electron microscopy (TEM) for determination of phase structure, morphology and particle size. Furthermore, the specific surface area of the powder was achieved by BET method. Results show that the powder consists of α-Fe2O3 particles with wide range distribution particle sizes between 50-300 nm. Specific surface area of the powder is about 4.33m2g-1. Moreover, catalytic behaviour of the iron oxide powder was investigated. A quartz tubular furnace was applied as a reactor for measuring catalytic activity. Conversion test results show that CO to CO2 conversion reaction was initiated at about 300°C (light-off temperature) and was completed at about 600°C. Also,the CO to CO2 conversion ratio was almost constant during long-term stability test.

- چکیده انگلیسی: In this study, we describe the growth of carbon nanotubes on commercial iron nanoparticles without carbon shell (Fe (nm), size 2O3 and Fe* (nm)/MgO) was carried out by mixing commercial Fe* nanoparticles (as catalyst) with Al2O3 and MgO powders (as supports)by using ball-milling method. The results show in spite of the fact that ball-milling process can have negative effects on diameter and morphology of synthesized CNTs at 925 ˚C, but it could increase the range of growth temperature from 865 ˚C to 975 ˚C.

- چکیده انگلیسی: A new tris-chelate Cd(II) complex, [Cd(DADMBTZ)3](ClO3)2 has been successfully synthesized and characterized by IR, 1H, 13C NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and single crystal X-ray determination. The thermal behavior, UV-Vis and fluorescence spectra of compound were studied. In reaction with DADMBTZ, Cadmium (II) forms a tris-chelate complex with nearly C3 symmetry for coordination polyhedron, DADMBTZ acts as a bidentate ligand. In complex the ClO3 - anions are symmetrically different. Complex makes 2-D and 3-D networks via N-H…O and N-H…N hydrogen bonds, respectively. The nanocomposite CdO-CdS have been prepared using [Cd(DADMBTZ)3](ClO3)2 as precursor via thermal decomposition. As-prepared CdO-CdS nanocomposite was characterized By X-ray diffraction measurements (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
